I am sadly writing a poor review..didn't want to, but want to share. I was SO excited to get these slippers mailed to me. I have always loved the look of them, I've wanted them for so long. Finally I splurged and bought them, but unfortunately I will be returning them. They have very poor support, and do not fit right. My feet are not wide by any means, and my feet roll off to the sides of the slippers instead of staying on the sole. I'll be returning these for your Mocs. Hope these improve quality.

I used to have Wicked Good Slippers years ago. I ordered my usual size 9 and received them and they were to small. I sent them back and reordered them for a size 10. Well I received the new ones in size 10 and they were just too tight in the toes to be comfortable. There would be no way I could wear socks with them if I wanted to. I am thinking LL Beans stuff might be coming from China hence the smaller size items....

The shoe sizing at L.L. Bean has gotten so OFF. I am a women's size 8.5, but I ordered a size 8 slipper. It was too long and way too narrow. Even my husband's slippers were too narrow for him, but he decided to keep them and break them in. I didn't think the women's would ever please me. This is the third pair of men's or women's footwear that I have returned to Bean's because of poor fit. My advice - if you find a shoe last that works, don't change it. Bean quality and sizing used to be so dependable. Not anymore. Sigh.

The product was good but I was a little disappointed. Right after I purchased it LL Bean offered a 20% discount on the exact same slippers. It's really to bad they don't offer a price guarantee.

I bought these last year with high hopes that I would have something durable that would last several years to change my 'buy cheap slippers every year' habit. For the price, I expected them to last 5 years or so. They are already worn through the lambswool after one year and the only thing that will fix it is to spend more $$ on the liners, which I don't want to do, because it makes the cost per wear go way up.
Also, I agree with the other reviewer who said the heel is wide and the toe is narrow. My heels keep slipping off the padding, so now my right foot is wearing and rubbing the wrong way on the side of the slipper. Sloppy! Also, the soles have looked so dirty after the first month. They are very warm though, and I like that they cover my ankles.
I wear a size 10 and had to size down to a 9 to make these fit.
These have to go back. :(

I think that Wicked Good slippers should come with the rubber outsole. Even with the slippery leather outsole, though, the footbed should be stable...but it isn't. Walking in these on hardwoods feels like walking on slippery sponges.
In addition, they felt cheap, quality-wise, for the price.
The style is cute and runs a bit large. I wear a 9.5 and bought a 10--I would have exchanged for a 9 if I'd liked them. Perhaps they'd work if you only wear them while sitting. I was surprised at the low quality and strange design decisions. Back they went.

After getting a year ago as a gift they are already falling apart. Won't get them again and are pricey.

I first tried a smaller size & it was too narrow. The larger size fits me, but still is too narrow in the toe area and I'd prefer to have a more solid bottom. I was trying to find a slipper like my worn out Uggs which are no longer available. These are o.k.if worn only around the house with no trips outside to get the paper, etc.

These booties are well made, but run too short. The insole is not comfortable when walking

I bought these 2 years ago (Dec 2014) and have rarely worn them because I live in the desert. We have very mild winters so I don't often need warm feet. The stitching on one slipper has pulled apart, leaving a hole on the side of the slipper. Not what I expected. I had mocassin-type slippers years ago that lasted for years, but I don't remember where I got them. I won't buy these again.

I have been wearing the Wicked Good Slippers for years, but this last pair I received is not the same slipper. The fit is different. The toes are more pointed, narrower, and longer. There is no shaping at the back of the heel, and consequently, the heel of the slipper keeps slipping off my foot. I returned them and will have to search elsewhere for slippers.

Yes, they are warm. Not the sole I wanted, because I like to cruise around in them, but a good exchange for the warmth they provide. When I first put them on, because of how they didn't fit, the span between my toe and pinkie, I thought, OK wrong foot. (It was not obvious, when you looked at, like most shoes/slippers, where a toe is prominent). So wrong when I reversed! Onward. The sole does not fit my shoe print. Length is good, but the space between the bit toe and little, has no purchase. The outsides of the top of my feet overlap the sole and I feel like I will fall. Just dug these out of the closet because it's so darn cold here. And remembered why they were parked there for so long.

The stitching on one of my slippers has worn through on one side, leaving my foot exposed. It started last spring, about six months after I received them, even though they had only been worn indoors. Originally they were a bit too tight, but now they are so loose my feet slide around in them (I normally buy an 8W in shoes). I thought these were the ultimate in slippers and I was thrilled to be getting a pair. They are beautiful and very soft, but didn't last. I will try repairing the stitching myself. Sadly I won't be buying a pair of these again.

I've had these slippers for almost three years and rarely put them on because they are just too loose. I am a size 7.5 medium and ordered a half size up - I think that was suggested - and the slippers never feel like they are firmly on my feet.

I bought a replacement pair after the stitching in the pair I had for about 12 years started to give out. One of the new ones ripped almost immediately so I sent them back for a replacement. LL Bean was very good with this. The new ones came and after wearing them for a short time I began to slip off the padding in the sole to one side on one of them. This made my ankle hurt so I couldn't wear it. I solved this by wearing one new one and one old one. Fortunately they were for the right feet! I was discouraged and threw away the ones that I couldn't use. So I now wear mismatched slippers and the one new one seems OK. Too bad they aren't as durable as the old ones!

The slipper no longer has a rubber sole so that they can be used outdoors if needed. Instead, a lace winds around the bottom to attach the slipper to a fabric base. Impractical and possibly flimsy.

These would have been fine. Nice in fact. I just couldn't get past the odor of these slippers! I even off-gassed them outside for days and they still smelled of chemicals. I just didn't want to put them on my feet. I know clothing and shoes are chemically treated to survive the shipping from China process, but this was unbearable to me. I'm sad, because I've had Wicked Goods in the past that I wore to nubs and was really looking forward to these. Sad.

I have a pair of these slippers which are about 3 years old. I have worn out the stitching holding it together and the lining on the inside. But they are so comfortable and warm. Sadly, I have to order three or four pairs before I find one that fits correctly. The problem with the new slippers is that it turns on its side once my foot is inserted. Rather than the sole of my foot resting on the sole of the shoe, the entire slipper turns side ways. I encountered this same problem when I first bought them but kept trying until I found a pair that worked. Sadly, I have returned this slipper. I sure wish LLB would fix this problem as I love the slippers when they work.

These slippers are very warm and comfortable but the stitching wears out too soon. I bought these for my daughter at her request but won't buy for myself again. The rest of the slipper is still in great shape - leather stitching deteriorated and one complete side of the slipper is open. My slipppers were not brand new but they were only worn for a season.

I had a pair of these slippers for years, and loved them. Finally time to replace them and purchased this newer model. Yikes! The toe box is pointed rather than nicely rounded -- so even when the slipper stretches (it's not just snug, good grief) it will feel like the toes are in a vise grip.
The shearling itself is lovely. I'm sorry they won't work for me, but goodness. Who wants a slipper that gives your toes claustrophobia?

I do not mean to be negative for the sake of being negative.
I do want to inform others of some details that were not clear to me from reading the description on line and reading other reviews.
First detail - while the outside of the sole is covered in suede and is not suitable for outdoors, there still is a thick sole of some kind inside the suede. It is thick and spongey and is more narrow than my foot. It is tall enough and also spongey enough I feel myself rocking off either side of the shoe a bit. It does not feel stable to me. It might soften up and get lower over time. I might get used to it in time, but it is not comfortable to me.
When I am at home, I want to feel like I am not wearing shoes. So I was looking for a soft leather bottom on a slipper with no supportive sole inside. Because of the support sole, I feel as if I am still wearing shoes while inside the house.
Also, there are a lot of reviews that say sizes run big. This is not true in my case. I wear a 7.5 or 8. I ordered the 8. I would need to wear a thin sock to feel comfortable in this size. I had on a slightly thicker sock when trying them on and they feel a bit more snug than I would like. Guessing I would need an 8.5, but they don't make half sizes.
They do seem well made, warm and soft. Just thought these details might be helpful to others.

Very cushy bottom and seemed like they would be warm. But the care tag was sewn into the footbed right where my arch hit. Very uncomfortable. I was afraid if I tried to cut it out, I would be taking apart the seam that held the shoe together. Had to return.

The slippers fit well when I first wore them. They have stretched out so much, they are practically falling off. I guess I should have ordered a smaller size.
