I bought the wicked good slippers abit ago to replace my well worn out and old same ones a few months ago. Couple weeks ago I opened them to wear, ouch...so tight, thought they just needed to soften as I wore....only wore less than 2 weeks but it made my feet hurt . .Definitly they seem not as good as my old ones. Returning with tears, might try different one...maybe wide or the men's one this time, hoping against hope.

I used to love these slippers, ordered them for years But the quality has decreased.the suede used to be thick and sturdy the fleece thick and warm...Not this year or last year! Very disappointed..
Sadly the suede is rather thin and the fleece is very thin. They used to last a year. Now after a couple months they wear out and are very loose.
Disappointed I,

Look good but not comfortable because of the very narrow fit.

I have owned 2 pairs of Wicked Good Slippers for more than 10 years and loved them. Due to the reviews about the change in fit, I bought two sizes, 6 (my normal size) and 7. As many other reviewers indicated, I could not get the size 6 on either foot. The size 7 fit my right foot well but was quite tight on my left foot. This was odd because my right foot is a bit larger than my left foot and shoes have always felt a bit tighter on my right foot. I returned both sets of slippers. I'm very disappointed with the quality of construction of these slippers. I don't know what has happened at LL Bean to make them go from a well-loved slipper to these poor fitting, irregular sized slippers, but I sure hope they fix it because I can't find this type of shearling-lined boot slipper anywhere else.

I've worn these slippers for years and I like them but EVERY time I get new ones there is ALWAYS an issue with them not fitting my feet properly, and I end up exchanging them. I wear size 8 1/2 and sized up to 9 on these slippers. This year I got two pairs-one pair has been returned already b/c the left slipper felt like it was on backwards and I was wearing the right slipper on my left foot! Very annoying. With the 2nd pair, the left slipper feels/fits great, no issues. On the right slipper the shearling on the left piece of leather rubs against my ankle bone (above my arch). This constant pressure on my ankle bone is also very annoying. I think the left piece of leather was cut too small. There is no pressure on my foot from the left slipper. Also the length of the right slipper is slightly smaller than the left and more narrow on the inside of the right slipper than the left. I haven't decided if these are going back yet. Maybe I'll look elsewhere for slippers. Your quality control needs to be better--these slippers are too expensive to not fit people's feet properly!!

Bought as Christmas gift. Not the same color, lighter. Size not same as previous order. As above, too short and too narrow. Will be returning.

Did they change the sizing? I had a pair of these slippers that wore out. I ordered another pair in the same size. They came in and felt small. I tried to wait it out as they say they may feel tight at first but then will loosen up. They did not so I ordered the next size up. When I got them, they felt the same way. I got my measuring tape out they were the same measurements. WHAT? Unfortunately, the next size up is on backorder so I will have to wait to see if they fit. I would recommend them to a friend if they can get the size right. Taking a long time to get them right, a month or so. Bummer.

I've purchased & worn Wicked Good slippers for 20+ years. With this most recent purchase (chocolate brown), the dye from the lining of the slipper is rubbing off and staining my socks. Or, if I'm not wearing socks, the stain is adhering to the bottom of my feet. For $110, I would not expect dye issues from the lining and a bit higher quality. Not the usual quality you would expect from LLBean.

This was to replace an old pair of these much loved slippers . The opening was so small I could barely get my foot in them. The construction of the front of the slippers is different from the old ones and does not allow much give around the opening. The material seems much the same as the old ones. Unfortunately I will send these back and continue to look for a replacement elsewhere.

The slippers themselves are great but LL Bean really messed up this order. The slippers came both the same foot (left) AND two different sizes! It's always such a pain to return as well. It was a gift so I was very disappointed.

I bought a second pair of these slippers because I noticed other items from LLBean were becoming cheaply made. In hopes I could get a pair before this happened with these. Too late. The new pair was thinner sheepskin and narrower, and more expensive. What is going on LLBean? I see your response to others with the same issue as me. But I dont see any change. Hire someone who has the same integrity as your company had 10 years ago. Please. I have been a faithful customer for 20 years. But, myself and many others will move on. Fix this. You are better than this, or are you?

2nd pair of same slippers. Quality discouraging, thinner suede, funky wool, less stability in slipper; not nearly as rigourous. Size is smaller. Loved, loved the first pair, wore them, repaired them.

I have been buying & wearing these slippers for over 30 years and every time I get a new pair you can notice the difference in quality and how cheaply these are being made comparatively throughout the years.

Basically, the item purchased was as close as possible in design compared to the previous pair. However, the location and height of the top edge on this new pair chafed the upper foot and ankle and the furry part did not provide the warmth as before. So we returned them and will look elsewhere. It is beyond me why a classic design with good performance has to be redesigned/perhaps "tweaked" in this instance, thus eliminating prior good features. You got it right the first time; why screw it up? I know new designers have new ideas, but one of the reasons we stick with LLB is that in most cases the clothing does not significantly change. Am afraid "Wicked Good" is a misnomer - and use of descriptive terms such as these is poor in any event.

In my opinion, I'm debating these because I notice a significant difference in the thickness of the sheepskin/hide on these than the previous identical ones I've purchased for many years.

I have worn these slippers for many many years and have always used a 9 M. This year with the same size I barely can get my foot into the slipper and they are too tight/small. My current 9's are still wearable but wearing out since I use them all the time. I talked to customer service and decided to exchange for the same size thinking they were mismarked or something. The new ones are the same. I think these are actually an 8. I bought my sister a pair in 10 and they are much looser than my current 9's. Frustrating. I would get a 91/2 if that was an option.

I have been wearing these slippers for many years. I used to get a new pair about once a year. I have noticed the last few years that the padding isn't what it used to be. The pair I got last year lost its padding quickly, and the sheepskin separated under the foot becoming too uncomfortable to wear. I decided to give it another try and buy a new pair. Within 2 days, the "padding" was gone, and once again the sheepskin under my foot separated creating hard bumps becoming too uncomfortable to wear. It is odd the say a slipper causes foot pain but these unfortunately do. They are not so 'wicked good' anymore.

My first pair of wicked good slippers lasted 9 years. The second pair only lasted 9 months before the stitching along the bottom started to wear out. They are not made with the quality they used to be. I used to recommend these, but I recommend avoiding them now.

I've been wearing Wicked Good Slippers for the last two decades. They had been wonderful. However, the new slippers I purchased for myself at Christmas shed like crazy. In April, I realized the shedding was because my insoles were bare in several spots; no shearling left at all!
I just packed up my Wicked Good Slippers to return for a refund. I hope LL Bean will decide to have their Wicked Good Slipper made to their former standards though I'm certain they'll cost much more. The old slippers wore like iron, didn't shed, were supremely comfortable and warm, and lasted many years.
It feels odd to be without my trusty slippers.

The slippers look the same but certainly don't feel the same on. These are uncomfortable and unfortunately I have already given my old ones away. For the price, very disappointing.

After 3 months, the fur in the heel of the right shoe, has worn away. 3 months! I understand that the fur in the foot bed will eventually start to show wear. I had this same shoe some years ago, the fur stayed intact for at least 6 years. So much for consistency. I'm returning these & ordering a new pair in hope that this pair was just defective.

This is my third pair of these slippers and might well be my last. Whereas previously my toes always felt warm and toasty that is not the case this time. When wearing sherpa slippers one shouldn't feel the need to add a pair of socks; that defeats the whole purpose. These are a major disappointment.
