These slippers would be so much better if they were squishier - i wish they had a memory-foam type of bottom. As they are, they are nice & warm, but they just miss the boat as far as comfort goes.

These didn't work for me because I need good arch support. Otherwise, they provided good warmth. You can't just slip your feet into these, they need to be pulled on, so that is a consideration.

I used to wear these slippers, for 15 years. In recent years the company must have changed the design. My foot is totally average, not narrow now wide, thick nor thin. The footbed on the new design is extremely narrow. It feels like an island in the center of my foot with the sides of my feet hanging over. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LLBEAN. They have the best customer service, quality, and design. This slipper however, no longer fits. Hopefully it will be back to its old self soon!

They run small so while they may be the best slipper in the world, I can't attest to it because I couldn't wear them. I've returned them and have had second thoughts about spending this much money on a pair of slippers so will not reorder them.

I've been buying these slippers for 20+ years and am disappointed in the new design. They're still nice, warm slippers, just not as wonderful as the old ones. They are now notched at the front of the ankle making for a cold area right at the top of the foot. They are also lighter weight. I'm sure of this since I have compared them directly with my old ones. I will probably keep these but will not re-order unless the design changes back..

Again I am trying to duplicate an older pair of slippers, but these were too small.

These slippers have no treads on the bottom. These slippers can be very slick on carpeted stairs - I have slipped down my basement stairs while wearing them. They also stretch width wize as they are broken in.

My feet are finally warm again! And I do not have to turn up the heat to feel warm anymore. Very comfortable.

We've had a similar pair of slipper for the past 6 years with no problems. They were durable and comfortable. After the first three years we needed the repair some of the stitching. The replacement pair recently purchased required two replacements. The first returned pair smell like a skunk, the second and third pairs have also had a very bad smell, which has not gone away yet. The L.L. Bean staff have been very helpful in trying to resolve the problem.

I have worn wicked good slippers for years. One feature has been changed. The top of the slipper used to come all the way up on the front. Now there is a v shape cut out. This cut out means my feet slip in the slippers and when I walk, my socks pull off. But they are still the warmest slippers around

These slippers are nice and warm. However, if you heve small feet, like size 6 you'll find these slippers very hard to put on. The top part of the shoe should be shorter when the slipper is a smaller size. They take forever to put on!

Mom couldn't get them on and off easily, too much struggle to get her feet in and out, wanted something she could easily slip on

Bought the chocolate brown slippers for my wife. I have an older pair and she would wear them all the time. First ordered size 8, then had to return for 9. No problems there, returns are great at llbean. Her issue with the slipper is that they were too hard to slip on and off. I believe her foot could get in the shoe, but she felt like she was going to rip them in order to do so. I was disappointed on that front.
The pair I have are several years old and have held up great, they are nice and warm.

As others have said -- these are NOT the warm snuggy "dorm boots" that I've bought from LLBean in the past. They are a bit flabbier (hard to slide your foot in without tugging on the sides, less structure overall), and seem to run a bit wider. I wish they had sturdier soles. They're OK as slippers but I'm still looking for my perfect pair.

I remember these slippers as being much thicker with a thicker sole. They are incrediably warm but much thinner all over then I remember. I would reccommened them but inform my friends of the change.

I've worn the Wicked Good slippers for at least 20 years. In June I got a new pair, but because they are tapered more, my big toes became irritated. I was very disappointed. They are very warm and very durable. I'm ordering a men's size, hoping the toe box will be more realistic. Most of us have the greatest need for length in the big toe area, not in the middle toe area.

I have owned two pairs of these. The first pair lasted many years. The second pair wore out more quickly and had two problems with the laces. I see some other people have had similar experiences. However, I do love the feel of the slippers. For the next pair, I was going to order the moccasin style, but they were sold out in my size (6), with no re-order date. It is January 12, and we have 11 inches of snow here now. I really need those slippers!

I don't know what happened to these slippers but they have taken a dive in quality. They are much harder to put on and less well constructed than my old pair. The previous design held up well, except for the laced stitching, which is easy to fix. I had to replace them when my new dog ate them and the new ones are a disappointment. That being said, they are warm and the chocolate colour is nice.

I got these for Christmas. They are warm and comfortable - HOWEVER - the soles are also suede and become dirty and ugly almost immediately. I would wish that the soles were of a material that is easily washed.

I have worn and loved these slippers for many years. I just received a new pair as a christmas gift. The third time I put them on they ripped right up the back seam. They did feel thinner than the previous pairs I have owned?! I am going to order a different style of slipper and hope for better results.

These slippers were a gift for my mom 3 yrs ago. Kept her feet toasty warm, the shearling was thick and luxurious. But..they are very slippery on tile and hardwood floors. Not a good match for older people. I was shocked they were on her and she never fell. Thank God!

I love these slippers. However, I would love them more if they actually matched the photograph in the catalog and on the Website. I specifically wanted slippers that cover the ankles, and these, unaccountably, are cut down at the sides, exposing the anklebones. Thus, while my feet are toasty, my ankles are anything but.

My first pair of "wickeds" lasted me a good long time - in fact, I believe they lasted until the new lab puppy came on the sceen. I am now on my third and likely, last pair. I thought it was a fluke when the stitching on Pair 2 came apart so rapidly, but Pair 3 is already doing the same. I love the comfort these slippers afford, but I can't justify having to stitch them up after less than a winter season's wear. The craftsmanship is not L.L. Bean quality.

I was disappointed with the cords that held the stitching together. I guess for such a high-priced pair of slippers I was expecting a better quality material. In addition, it looked like a soft slip-on style booty, but when I received my order and tried them on I discovered there was a piece of hard plastic in the bottom. Unfortunately, it is sewn between the footbed and the sole so it can not be removed. I found no mention of this in the catalog description.

I bought these slippers for my wife and she absolutely loves them. However, after ~4 months of normal use, one of the seams along the outer back side developed a hole (about 3/4 inch wide). I will be exchanging for the same slippers, and hope that this is a rare defect. Given the typical high quality of LLBean products, I expect the next pair to be ok. Stay tuned!
