I had purchased fleece slippers from a competitior of LL Bean several years ago, and they have since discontinued making woman's slippers. Initially I was not comfortable in these, since I was so used to the other ones, but they are breaking in nicely, and I am beginging to like them more and more as time goes by. they are warm and cozy, and I can tell with wear, they will form to my foot.

My girlfriend really enjoys these. So far we are very satisfied with the design, comfort and warmth of them. Thanks, Joe

I'm on my 3rd or 4th pair of these and they have been redesigned from my previous pairs. This design is the male design and the female foot is not the same as the male. This pair is much more roomy in the same size as my previous pairs of wicked good slippers (all this same basic design of a "boot"). L.L. Bean designers please go back to the difference in design between the women's and the men's slipper. Otherwise you can't beat this slipper! It's great for running out to get the mail, newspaper, etc. I even forgot they were on my feet once when I went to choir rehearsal at church.

not quite soled for running out in wet driveway with the dog. pretty warm and best when wearing socks. cozy for tv viewing or settling in for reading a good book. not for jumping out of bed, but fine for "hangin' out"

Well, this is my third pair and I've given at least 3 others as gifts. They effectively do the job of keeping feet warm. If they are lacking in any way, it would be the wear on the inner bottoms. Of course, if the material were different, they, perhaps, wouldn't be as warm. They are good looking & comfortable. Until I went on-line to purchase my last gift, I hadn't realized that they are available in two different shades. My next pair! Thanks! Dutchess County Bean shoppah

I agree with another reviewer who stated these slippers need to be made available in Ladies wide width. Slippers are supposed to be COMFORTABLE, and many ladies need wider width than medium. I solved the problem by returning my Ladies size 8 mediums, and ordered a pair of MENS WIDE size 7, which are basically the exact same slipper. The mens do come in both medium and wide width, and are much roomier and more comfortable, yet look the exact same. Otherwise, these are very well constructed, soft, and cozy. I work from home, and so wear them virtually all day, almost every day from fall through spring, so have given them a lot of use. I have had mine several years now, and except for the inside fuzzies finally wearing a bit thin, they are still holding up well.

These slippers are very comfortable and run true to size. Just remember they have a leather sole so you shouldn't go running around outdoors in damp/wet weather in them. The tab on the back could have been a loop tab because it tends to slip out of your fingers when putting on the slippers.

Love the slippers. Very soft and warm. Will not be able to use them until winter. The only draw back is the bottom of the slipper is not a durable plastic to run outside with in the cold Minnesota winters.

Warmest slipper ever. I am grateful for the 100% replacement guarantee, seams broke open, after 2 yrs of wear and I returned then, only to have a new pair by return mail. I only wish, especially with the lousy economy in this country, that you would sell USA made merchandise exclusively, there are too many Americans out of work to be supporting the economy of southern Asia.

These slippers are awesome ! They run a little larger than standard sizing. I had to take 1 size down. I'd love them even more if there was a hard bottom so I can easily run out and get the newspaper in the rain.

the slippers were very nice, not the same quality of my older ones. the inside bottom was alot flatter. considering what else is on the market they are a good buy for the money. I gave them to my husband and took my old ones back!!

I've owned more than 12 pair of these bought over the past 20 years. Obviously, I'm a fan. However, the style has changed with my most recent purchase & not in a good way. The sides of the bootie are thinner and the slipper does not hold its shape as well. It fits differently too - looser and the fur is not nearly as opulent. Bring back the old style!!!!"

These slippers are very cushioned and are the first thing I slip on during the cold winter months. They are terrific on cold days, but my feet get a little too hot during the summer months.

Great slippers. Very comfy and warm; however, they run very small. I usually wear a 7 and bought an 8. They are ok in the length, but tight to get on. I should have bought a 9.

While I love the quality and the warm and cozy feel of my slippers, I am disappointed that the slippers I received are not the much cuter women's style pictured on the website that I ordered, but instead the men's style slipper. Now my husband and I have matching pairs. If the style has changed, shouldn't LLbean update their info? As for the fit, I am a 8.5/ordered 9, should have ordered an 8. A bit big.

I think these are great! My only issue with them is that the pair I received didn't actually look like the ones I saw advertised on the website (or anywhere else for that matter). They look like the men's style, and I'm not nearly as pleased with the way these look. They're kindof masculine and not nearly as cute and elf-like. However, they do keep my feet warm and seem quite sturdily made, so I'll keep them. But I wonder - is this kind of thing normal for LL Bean?

Bought them for a birthday present, and she is really enjoying them. Likes the comfort and warmth of them in this cold climate.

I have been buying this slipper from LL Bean for years. In the last couple of years the sleepers have been cut wrong. I keep them and worn them, and finally decided to start sending them back. On sleeper seem to be fine and the other one was alway cut slanted. I ordered new slippers again and they seem to be better. I do hope so, because I really like them. Hope this helpful.

I love my new slippers after having ordered another pair which were not right at all I chose this slipper and I lve them. The only problem is the right foot is cut different then the left and it is harder to get on.(no it is not my foot) I am hoping it will strech out a little as I wear it.. I would send them back and wait for anothwer pair but it takes too long and I need my slippers.

I love these slippers and have been buying them for 10 years. My first pair lasted 8 years! However, my second pair only lasted about a year and a half before the stiching split. I've just ordered pair #3 and hopefully these will last a bit longer. However, I wear them Autumn through Spring in Minnesota. I love them! They keep my feet and ankles wonderfully warm!

Great product. Does all what it promises. Good buy, especially when on sale.

Stitching around the sole much improved since my last pair. My only complaint is that one of them rolls a bit toward center, but they're new and it may improve with wear . . . or worsen.

I was worried these slippers would be too hot and sweaty. I am so happy to report that while they are very warm and cozy, I don't ever get too warm and sweaty in them. The first few times I wore them, the cushion at the bottom was too puffy and walking was a bit awkward, but after just a few wearings they became very comfortable. I always wear the same size in every shoe, but these ran a bit large. I would recommend maybe ordering a half-size down.
