I bought a pair in the dark chocolate last winter to replace the pair that came apart at the whip stitching. The only complaint I have is that the "tag" was sewn inside the slippers right where my arch meets the soul. WHY? It itches my foot and I'm afraid to cut it out and make the slippers come apart!

I like these slippers a lot. They are very soft and comfy, keeping my toes warm as my feet tend to get cold in the mornings! However, I have slightly narrow feet and the bottom/base of these slippers don't really cover my entire foot. I am not sure if this is the intended fit, but it seems a bit awkward at first, but after a little bit you get used to the feeling. That is why I only gave them 4 stars. Overall, these are wonderful!

I bought these for my mother-in-law who is in a memory care unit. She has very wide feet and we couldn't get the slipper on her foot at all. It was disappointing because they are such warm and comfy slippers.

I agree with Sinbar on the women's slippers. I love them, but like the older style with the middle seam much, much better. P-L-E-A-S-E bring them back. I need a new pair. Only gave it a 4 star because of the style change, otherwise it would definately have been a 5.

I've loved these slippers for so long and my husband and I have gone through several pairs but why oh why have the women's been changed to look exactly like the men's? The women's version used to have a seam down the front middle which helped them keep their shape and fit better - PLEASE BRING THEM BACK!!!!!

I've had these slippers for years and I absolutely loved them until the pair before this one. The color I wanted was out, so I got the dark brown (and the wrong size, too large, but that was my fault and a different story). From the beginning, they felt 'inferior'. The suede felt very thin, flimsy. Then I was walking out in the yard (I wear them outside all the time) and one of my Irish Wolfhounds stepped on the back, my foot and I kept going and the slipper tore about two inches down the center toward the toes. I was SO not amused. Since this was not LLBean's fault, but mine and Pansy's, I ordered another pair. EUREKA! (I got the right size) I got them in the color I wanted. These feel so much sturdier. How can a color choice be a factor in how much thicker the fabric feels? So far, so good. I'm hoping they continue to impress me as being the quality I've always gotten from LL Bean. And I hope Pansy stays off my heels. Please heed the advice on size. I wear about a 7 1/2 and the 8 is just too large.

I have purchased several pair of the wicked good slippers for family over the years. I have found the product to be commendable in quality.

I ordered these thinking they'd fit like a pair I'd had for years from LL Bean. The cut of the opening of these is much shorter. It's very hard to get my foot in and out of the size I normally wear. Buy a size up.

Love getting the opportunity to share my shopping experience with companies. Makes you feel like I matter. Cool. My wife is always complaining about being cold, including her feet. I purchased online the Wicked Good Slippers for her Christmas gift and unfortunately, one slipper did not wear well. I contacted L.L. Bean to confirm the return procedure and they were quite helpful. We received the returned slippers and my wife loves the heck out of your product. Based on the warmth and style, your product had become her personal favorite. Your product's overall quality and great customer service still enable me to get points. As much as I do wrong, I can always use as many points as possible. Way to go guys. James

I have worn these slippers for years and I absolutely love them, but I ordered a pair in September that I had to return because the binding strip was tearing already. Now, I have noticed a smell coming from them. Someone else mentioned in their post that they noticed an odor as well. However, my odor is more like a skunk than coffee. I definitely would prefer a coffee odor. Not sure how long I will be able to tolerate it.

So warm, I read the reviews and decided after many years of yearning for some of these, to splurge...money well spent! However, the ONLY downside is the intense ODOR of the sheep's wool- the smell is soooooo strong, I can smell the slippers from nearby, and while they are on my feet! A friend even said, "I smell fresh ground coffee". I never thought they would smell so strong as I have been around these slippers before, and not noticed this "feature". I guess this is what comes with buying an animal product over a synthetic? Anyone else have this issue?

They are nice and warm. Overall comfortable but the part where your foot rests on the inside is just slightly narrow.

The slippers are great, but they ran a little small and a little narrow. I can't wait for the replacement size to get here. I recommend getting a pair, but order up one size beyond your usual.

I agree with other reviewers who say that these are not the same design as previously. I received a new pair for Christmas (these would be my 4th or 5th pair). The fit is totally different. If I decide to stick with them I will have to exchange for a larger size - even though the new ones are the same size I've always had. :(

I had purchased fleece slippers from a competitior of LL Bean several years ago, and they have since discontinued making woman's slippers. Initially I was not comfortable in these, since I was so used to the other ones, but they are breaking in nicely, and I am beginging to like them more and more as time goes by. they are warm and cozy, and I can tell with wear, they will form to my foot.

My girlfriend really enjoys these. So far we are very satisfied with the design, comfort and warmth of them. Thanks, Joe

I'm on my 3rd or 4th pair of these and they have been redesigned from my previous pairs. This design is the male design and the female foot is not the same as the male. This pair is much more roomy in the same size as my previous pairs of wicked good slippers (all this same basic design of a "boot"). L.L. Bean designers please go back to the difference in design between the women's and the men's slipper. Otherwise you can't beat this slipper! It's great for running out to get the mail, newspaper, etc. I even forgot they were on my feet once when I went to choir rehearsal at church.

not quite soled for running out in wet driveway with the dog. pretty warm and best when wearing socks. cozy for tv viewing or settling in for reading a good book. not for jumping out of bed, but fine for "hangin' out"

Well, this is my third pair and I've given at least 3 others as gifts. They effectively do the job of keeping feet warm. If they are lacking in any way, it would be the wear on the inner bottoms. Of course, if the material were different, they, perhaps, wouldn't be as warm. They are good looking & comfortable. Until I went on-line to purchase my last gift, I hadn't realized that they are available in two different shades. My next pair! Thanks! Dutchess County Bean shoppah

I agree with another reviewer who stated these slippers need to be made available in Ladies wide width. Slippers are supposed to be COMFORTABLE, and many ladies need wider width than medium. I solved the problem by returning my Ladies size 8 mediums, and ordered a pair of MENS WIDE size 7, which are basically the exact same slipper. The mens do come in both medium and wide width, and are much roomier and more comfortable, yet look the exact same. Otherwise, these are very well constructed, soft, and cozy. I work from home, and so wear them virtually all day, almost every day from fall through spring, so have given them a lot of use. I have had mine several years now, and except for the inside fuzzies finally wearing a bit thin, they are still holding up well.

These slippers are very comfortable and run true to size. Just remember they have a leather sole so you shouldn't go running around outdoors in damp/wet weather in them. The tab on the back could have been a loop tab because it tends to slip out of your fingers when putting on the slippers.

Love the slippers. Very soft and warm. Will not be able to use them until winter. The only draw back is the bottom of the slipper is not a durable plastic to run outside with in the cold Minnesota winters.
