Fit is perfect, slippers are Warm! I see a potential wear problem: the sole is not centered evenly, so the stitching touches the floor -- on the outside of one shoe, the inside of the other. Quality control is not the greatest! Fine for wearing on carpet, but I have tile. We'll see.

My feet are AAAA in width. This medium width slipper is very nice and probably the correct width for someone with medium width feet, but I need a slim width (AAAA), but would settle for narrow (AA). Even with socks, these slippers are too wide. Since I have no choice, I need to be careful when walking.

I have just reordered my fourth pair of these slippers. This past pair was just over 3 years old when the seam came undone today. I realize that for many this may seem extreme but I literally live in these slippers from October through April every year. I work from home in a house that has many drafts. I wear them from 7 am until about 4:30 when I run out for errands in the evening. I discovered theses slippers over 20 years ago and my first few pair lasted quite a bit longer when I had to go to work and wear real shoes all day.

These slipper booties are super cozy, and I highly recommend them provided that you can find the correct size. The lambswool lining is very warm and provides nice padding/support on wood and tile flooring.
If you wear a half size, remember to SIZE DOWN! You might even consider a narrower width than you usually wear. The slippers will loosen up after a few days, so you want them to be snug when you first try them. (It took me a couple tries to find the right size; fortunately LL Bean processes returns quickly.)

I expected this to be a good product, and it was. Just do not expect this product to have any support for your feet. It's simply a comfort item!

They are warm n more comfy each day! Used spray waterproofer but they do leak around the stitching. One of them has stitching comeing out, the other has a thinner spot on the upper side. I do Love them n are hopeing they'll last as long as previous pair. If laceing continues to come open i will be asking for replacement pair. Even so i still Love them...

Unfortunately I had to return these. Width was way too narrow at the toes and overall fit was too small. Because I have a wider foot I re-ordered the same style in a men's size. I love the slipper and the fleece. I hope the next ones fit!!! I highly recommend the Wicked Good Slipper -- one pair I had lasted nearly 10 years! Very well made and durable!

I wear and 8 1/2 shoe and instruction for the slippers were 1/2 size order up. I ordered a size 9 and they were way to big. Easily exchanged them for a size 8 which is a perfect comfortable fit. Love the slippers.

This is my 4th pair of these slippers. They are warm, comfy, and usually hug my feet in just the right places. I do have a narrow foot, and in the past, even though they were listed as wide - they arrived snug enough, and after
wearing a bit, got wider but still comfortable. This year, they arrived wider than in the past. However, they are so comfy, I am keeping them for their warmth and durability. I highly recommend them for comfort, warmth, and durability.

I've purchased many of these women's slippers. I have purchased a size 8 (which I am)
but they're too small -- I've bought size 9 and it's too large!! Also, when
I last bought a pair appx. 1 mo. ago, I ordered brown and they sent TAN.
Too much trouble sending back so I kept them. Much too large.
Not happy.

I have worn the slippers several times and have found them to be warm and cozy. I ordered a 9 which is my shoe size, I probably should have ordered a half size larger as they are snug in the toe area. I am assuming that they will stretch out so I am not sending them back at this time.

Most comfortable slippers only reason 4 stars is the stitching wears out

These slippers are warm and do not slide on wood floors. My only issue with both the preceding pairs and this recent one is that my left foot slides to the left side of the slipper -- probably because the slippers are just a tiny bit too narrow. Nonetheless, I keep buying them because they are the best on the market with a soft sole.

These slippers feel wonderful, very soft and warm. For me, next time I will purchase the Mocs, so as to have a more stable shoe bottom. I tend to turn my ankle and I need a flatter bottom. There is nothing wrong with these, they feel wonderful, and keep my feet warm, even before the fire gets going to heat the house up!

I love these cozy slippers. However, the nap of the wool is backwards and pulls my sock down into the slipper which is very frustrating. This needs to be changed. Other than that, the slippers are great.

I wear a 6.5 shoe, occasionally a 7 depending on the shoe, so I sized up to a 7 in these slippers as recommended when I bought them a few years ago. I should have ordered the size 6 - these stretched with wear and feel floppy and uncomfortable when I walk, so I seldom wear them.
Now, my mother wears an 8 on her right foot and an 8.5 on her left, and often she has to purchase two pairs of the same shoe. It just occurred to me that these slippers might work for her, so I had her try them on. Guess what: the right slipper fits "great" and the left slipper feels "a little snug" but might be doable. She's been wearing them now for almost an hour with no complaints.
My personal recommendation: these slippers stretch. If in doubt, size down!

I love these slippers so much, they are exactly what I have been looking for. I gave it four stars out of five because the small thread stitching at the toe hadn't been stitched properly and started to unravel. I sewed it back myself but for the cost of the slipper I would have hoped for better quality.

I also have been getting these slippers for decades and have loved them. My last pair wasn't as great as the side stitching is coming out- I have never had this happen before-L.L. Bean what is up???

The padded sole of the slippers seems a bit narrow for the actual width of the shoe, over time your foot will run over the side seam. They are the perfect fit otherwise, so I don't think ordering a size up would fix things. I wear Bean wool socks with them and already order up to a size 8 from my usual 7. Not by any means a deal breaker, just an annoyance in an other wise great shearling slipper. You simply can not beat natural materials for staying warm. These slippers are so perfect for keeping by the bed on a winter night. The soft soles are perfect for padding around the house. We have wood floors and I do not like to wear regular shoes in the house. These are my second pair despite the narrow sole issue.

These slippers are very warm even without socks. Until the sheepskin compresses a little I can not wear these with socks (too tight). Many years ago I had gotten this type of slipper and the outside was more like leather than suede. They were much easier to put on. These slippers are suede and very soft so I can't just slip them on without using my hands. Overall they are very nice and warm.

I suffer from cold feet all my life and it doesn't take much for them to get cold. Typically, I wear a 6.5-7 shoe. Usually it is 6.5 for shoes or flats and 7 for sneakers and some boots/booties. I ordered these in a size 7 and was surprised at how snug they fit. The inside really does have a lot of cozy material. I preferred the 7 over the 6.5 because I enjoy wearing socks with my slippers as an extra layer of warmth. Luckily, I'm still able to wear socks with the size 7 without it being too small, I just can't wear very thick socks. The fabric also stretches a bit, so that helps. When I first slipped them on, I was very happy with how comfortable they were. It seems like it had some sort of memory foam or something on the sole and it was very nice to wear. As these seem to be one of the warmer slippers by LL Bean, I was expecting no issues in keeping my feet warm and for the most part, except maybe a few nights where I just couldn't get warm, they did a good job.
Now that I've had the slippers for about a month, here are some of my issues with the slippers: One, there is no sole on the bottom, something I overlooked when purchasing these slippers. It seemed a bit unstable when walking, as if your foot shifted or rolled-like to the left or right. Not enough to sprain an ankle, but it was still odd to get used to. Now that I've been wearing them for a month, I don't notice it or it no longer does that as it basically makes an imprint of your foot into the sole of the slipper. The downside to that, is the "cozy" material I mentioned above pretty much wears down where your foot makes the most impact. This leaves the arch with tufts of the "cozy" material, so the sole becomes a bit unbalanced. I hope I'm explaining this right. Yes, I feel, with socks, it keeps my feet warm, but I wish I would have purchased a set that had a sole versus just fabric on the bottom. I also wish that it kept the shape of the sole better as they were super comfortable when I first started wearing them, but I feel after only a month, I've kind of worn them in. Not very good considering the cost of these slippers.

I don't usually write reviews but these are so warm and soft. I'm normally an 8.5 and it says to order a half size up, so I ordered a 9. They were HUGE after breaking them in for a day or so. Called in and exchanged for an 8. Seemed very snug when I received them but after wearing them for a couple of days they are also quite big. Definitely order down. I will keep them bc they are so comfy, but the sizing is off.
