I previously posted a 2-star review for these slippers because the pair I ordered had a horrible mildew odor. LL Bean replaced that pair, and the new ones smell totally fine! Thank you! Tag placement should be addressed with manufacturers because it's itchy and difficult to remove deep in the footbed (small sewing scissors remove it with some care) But!!! overall I'm very happy with the new pair. Super warm and a perfect fit. Looking forward to wearing these babies for many years to come.

I wore these slippers at home all last winter. I loved them. They kept my cold feet warm and were comfy, not too big or too small. So why only a 4? Because by late winter/early spring, the top leather had torn next to the stitching on the bottom, for no reason that I can point to except wear. Except for the long tear which cannot be repaired and has made them unwearable, the slippers have maintained their shape and good looks.

I do love the slippers. .Soft, comfy, warm. But I am still really bummed you got rid of the old style that you used to sell for women. They were more like the shape of an elf's slipper. But since you don't sell that style anymore I must settle for the same style as the men :(

My favorite slippers ever for many yrs. I have had several pair and have purchased them many times for gifts. So cozy & always keep my feet warm. However, the last two pair (one I sent back) have had one slipper where the sole insert is cockeyed resulting in my foot rolling to one side. Not good at all & very uncomfortable when walking. This seems to be a quality control issue. I am asking that LLBean look into this and make sure the proper inspection is being done. These are too nice and too expensive to have this flaw. Usually I don't mind paying the price since they last quite a long time and in the past the quality has been good. But I won't pay this price again if this flaw is not corrected. It would be a shame to have to give up these slippers.

I love these cozy slippers (for indoor use because the sole is soft). I would give them 5 stars except that I had to exchange the first pair because one of them was too large on one side, and bowed outward, so my foot would slide to the side. Fortunately the second pair was fine (I drove to a store and tried them on in person). The same thing happened the last time I bought this style, but that time I lived with it and regretted it. I guess the quality control is not what it should be. They are made in Myanmar. Just make sure they're cut / assembled correctly.

Have owned several pairs over the years. The twine that holds the body of the slipper to the sole of the slipper always wears out long before the rest of the slipper. This last time, it wore out in 7 months, but LLBEAN replaced the slipper, though that process is not trouble-free if you want to get LLBEAN to pay for the shipping. While they are in good shape, they are very comfortable, warm and look great.

Size 9, my usual size was too short. Next, I ordered Size 10 -same shoe- but was too wide and my feet slid around in it, so I also returned these shoes. L L Bean has quality products (rather expensive for me). The only problem I've had with these two shoe orders is that I had to wait 6 weeks for delivery.

I really was disappointed to find these slippers have not got the plastic or rugged soles or bottoms so I can only wear them in the house. They are extremely comfortable but when i use my hot tub I have to change into slippers that can go outside. They were I thought expensive and i really wanted the slippers to be able to go outside too.

That said, please find another place for the tag. Inside the slipper right on the arch of the foot just simply is wrong.

We love these moccasins and have been ordering them for years, but it would really be nice if LL Bean would make them in half sizes. Both my wife and I are exactly half sizes, so we have to go larger and they're just a little too large, not a nice snug fit which we hope for.

I normally wear size 6 or 6.5 (sizing up for sneakers to 7.5 or 8). I purchased 7, but probably could have also done a size 6; size 7 was a perfect fit right away, but as you wear it longer, the shearling lining flattens out fairly quickly, making the slipper feel wider. It is a personal preference - I don't like a snug fit, even if it is temporary, so the size 7 worked for me. These slippers are warm and during our New England winters, they're the first things I put on when I get home - best when worn barefoot. I can't give these 5 stars though because the shearling lining has already worn down and bits of lining sometimes come out. Granted, it's been almost 2 years since I purchased mine - but considering that I don't wear these year round and only in the winter months, I would have hoped these expensive slippers would have lasted longer. The lining on the side is still nice and thick, but the lining of the sole leave much to be desired - would be great if LLBean created shearling inserts so that these slippers could last a 3rd winter...

Love these slippers! This is my second pair. My first pair were the light brown. Second pair dark brown. prefer the dark brown color. My only complaint, the inside bottom of the slipper wore down. Would love to be able to purchase an insert but not available. Over all would highly recommend them!

I wanted a pair, truly wanted them. I tried the size 10; too small. I tried the size 11; too big. Like so many shoes and slippers these days, those of us who wear a 10.5 are out of luck. It seems to be presumed that as soon as a woman's feet reach a certain length, we don't care how shoes fit. I guess it's like sleeve length; larger sizes have longer sleeves. Why on earth? Rant finished. The slippers aren't something I can have.

While I so appreciate innovation and updates I must say that I wildly prefer the charming front stripe of the original design. I also preferred that the overall shape was more choked around the ankle compared to the open curve of the current design. The original design has so much appeal. Please let me know if you reissue this classic as I would love to order!!! This is more of a wish than a review. Thank you.

Now I know why I don't purchase footwear online. I read reviews saying these slippers are true to size. Turns out that I like my slippers bigger. While they are nice, I can only wear them if I am barefoot. Even wearing them with light socks, they are so tight that it feels like my circulation is cut off. I've put them away until I can stand to wear them around to stretch them out some.

I have worn these slippers for years, and they are warm and wonderful. I would have have given 5 stars, but the price has increased substantially over the years. I paid a high price, and when these wear out; I won't be buying them again.

I had an old pair of the same bedroom slippers from LLBean. My new dog got one so I had to purchase a new pair. The new ones are fine, may be a little smaller, but still glad I got them.

I bought these for my wife for Christmas. She says that they are very comfortable but, when she puts them on, they feel like they are on the wrong feet. If she switches them, she says they still feel like they are on the wrong feet. She says that she didn't want to send them back but, will break them in and they will probably be fine

I was disappointed that the sole was not a hard sole like your Moc's are. But they are very warm.

These slippers are warm and cozy with good padding inside. Also, they don't make noise when you walk on hardwood floors ~ a plus for my husband who sleeps later than I do. The only thing is they run a little small. I normally wear a 7.5 but ordered an 8 which is a scosh too small and they are a little narrow at the toes. I was ready to return them when I noticed a note in the box saying they will start out snug but loosen up quickly so I decided to keep them cause they're adorable. Sure enough, within an hour they had loosened up enough to satisfy. But I would say if you have a very broad foot, they will probably not loosen up enough for you. Again, I would order up a 1/2 size or even a full size.

This was my third pair of these slippers. They are very warm on my hardwood floors. The size 6 seem to be a little smaller than the previous pairs i have had. They are fit without socks. However, there is a tag in the bottom of the slipper that you can feel if you don't wear socks.

I've worn this same slipper for decades and always replace it with the same one. This time I've noticed it squeaks when I walk (worn them for about a month) which hasn't happened before - still totally worth it!

Would love to be able to purchase these slippers in narrow, and a half size larger! Can't go up a full size at medium, cause I'd walk right our of the slippers, since already loose at heel. They are warm, and I'm hoping the foot lining, which became very thin in the last pair I purchased, will hold up better this time.

Almost a year ago, I purchased a pair of Women's Wicked Good Slippers. I wear them daily on wood and tile floors. I like them, for the most part, but have noticed they have become uncomfortable due to the way the lambswool interior has worn. It is lumpy and actually hurts the soles of my feet. Also, one of them turns a bit on my foot, especially noticeable with socks on. For almost $90, I don't think I would buy again.
