Wonderfully warm and comfortable slippers. I wear them all the time. My only gripe is that after a few years, past when LLBean will do anything about it, the stitching wears out, and separates, which is why I bought this new pair. This wasn't a fluke since this is the second pair I've had that happen, but it will take a few years before you face that issue. I did stitch them back together, but it didn't work so well and looked bad. These are my favorite slippers.

My husband loves these slippers but they were too small compared to the last time he got a pair so had to sadly return them—that’s why only 4 stars

Great slippers - warm and cozy. This is my third pair over a 20 year span. However this new pair has a tag sewn on the inside seam that irritated my foot. I trimmed the tag as closely as possible and it is better but not perfect.

While I love the boot shape, ankle coverage and shearling-lined slippers, I found the heel bed a bit narrow and uncomfortable, and I don't have a wide foot. I decided to just live with it and wearing them regularly has pushed out the side of the heel somewhat, though I feel the seams as I step.

I had the chocolate brown slippers for close to a decade and they were fabulous. After awhile, one side started to rip at the seam but I don't know if that is the slipper's fault or maybe a dog's...maybe.. Regardless, I got another pair for Christmas that year but in the lighter shade of brown. It has been about two years and they are still comfy. BUT the right slipper's shearling is more yellow and a different texture than the left slipper. Additionally. the suede part is darker on the right slipper. Soon it will look like I have a mismatched pair. I am disappointed at the inconsistency. Another brand of shearling boots I have don't have this problem and they are even older than my LL Bean slippers. I'd get it in dark brown next time.

I have worn these slippers since I was a kid. My whole family loves these slippers. My grandpa had slippers like these from L.L.Bean that lasted 30+ years. In the last 5-6 years, I've had to replace mine several times due to the seam on the side breaking. Each time, I wish I could either have L.L. Bean fix the side, or give me a discount on the next pair since they're so pricey ($100 for slippers that break??!!). Do I still buy them again? Yes. They are so incredibly comfortable that I have to have them! Should I look for a different product that doesn't break so easily? Probably. It's a shame that they aren't being made the way they used to. Clearly this is a common review that the seams break. Hopefully they will upgrade or at least offer customers a deal if the seam of their slippers break.

Slipper was everything I was looking for, ordered the next whole size up. Although I know the leather will stretch over time, the toe box was so narrow, it felt like wearing my work flats with a pointed toe. Despite sizing up, my foot fit in, but only with thin or no socks.

Great fit, quality long lasting materials. This my second pair of this model, and my husband 3rd pair. The leather stitching connecting the sole to the upper, has worn out long before the soles or upper leather.

Problem with these requests for ratings is that they occur pretty much on the heels of the purchase so that the product has not withstood the test of time. I took a risk buying these based on thumbs-down reviews from repeat buyers who said the lacing had transitioned from rawhide to thread and were not holding up, so only time will tell. My daughter absolutely loves this (hard-to-find soft soled) house bootie and has another pair at her primary residence out of state - it was wonderful seeing her so happy when she came home to visit and discovered these in her room as a present. But, again, time will tell.

This is my 5th pair ordered between my husband and I. We love these slippers and I would give 5 stars but a tag was added on the outside of the slipper that I really wish wasn't there.

These slippers were very comfortable - especially the padding in the heel. The lining is sheep's skin and very cozy. HOWEVER, the label on the inside of the slippers is made of plastic and has sharp corners. The label sticks to the arch of my foot and is not at all comfortable so I removed 2 stars for the poor decision to save a few pennies (I assume) on the label when cotton would have been a much better choice. They are also much harder to put on and off than a style that doesn't come up around the ankle. The tradeoff is how warm that higher style is.

The width is a bit narrow. They said they may start out that way but will widen as the fur mats down but I haven't had that happen.

Very soft and warm, but there is a tag on the inside seam that hits the arch and is extremely difficult to remove. That part is uncomfortable

The slippers are not really alike, as if one person made the R and another the L!

Love the slippers (my 3rd pair), but now they have added a stiff label inside the slipper right in the seam at the arch of your foot. Not a good idea.

These are ok. I wish they came in green like the men's slippers.

I have had many pairs of these slippers, and have always loved them. Unfortunately, I bought women's size this time, not realizing I have always been wearing the men's size. They are very tight, but for the price, I'm wearing them!

I love these slippers. They are warm and comfy. My complaints are that LL Bean should know better than to put a label at the arch which is incredibly uncomfortable and they were a bit snug when I first got them. I have really narrow feet so I got a 9 when I really wear a 9.5 so may be my fault but they seemed very narrow but as they are leather they have stretched out to the appropriate size.

Love these slippers, they keep my feet warm and are really cute. Only downside is these are untreated suede so anything you spill on them ( a drop of coffee or water) stains them, I would reccomend spraying with a suede protectant if you're clumsy like i am and now ahve some water spots on my left show :)

Very good house shoes. Only thing I would change is more padding in the footbed. I have neuropathy so this is maybe a bit critical on my part.

Bought for my wife as a gift. Her old ones were finished off by a dog!lol she had them a very long time, i hope these last as long. She says they are almost too warm! I'm glad these are still made it is very difficult to find slippers without rubber sole. Took me awhile to remember where i bought the last pair. That in itself should be a testament to how well they hold up. Hope the quality is still up to that par. Fit and finish seems the same quality.

They run a little large and I wish I had ordered one size down. Other than that they are great slippers! Very well made and warm.

Purchased as a gift for my wife. They offer much better traction than her warm socks, and she says he feet are really a warm now.

You mention these run tight at first, and I know that. I've had this slipper 3 or 4 times now. For this pair, however, after several weeks they are still very snug and I cannot wear socks in these slippers, at least not yet. Hope that changes with timeit's cold here in Duluth!
