Wonderful, soft, a little wide for my narrow foot, but that is normal

I've always worn LL Bean slippers for over 45 years usually the ones with higher pile and rubber soles. This year because of medical issues I bought a different style. They were easy slide on/off but I started noticing my foot was walking sideways instead of straight and I felt it was a little dangerous. And they have no sole. I still wear them but not as much. However. I have always purchased all of my slippers from LL Bean and will continue to do so!!!

These are very comfortable slippers but they run a whole size small. They don't have half sizes. I sent back a size 8 and ordered a size 9. Even then they were comfortable but snug. Excellent quality.

Disappointed! I purchased half size larger to have extra space and they were very tight and my toe touching the end of slipper. Pair I had before was same size and fit great! They are great slippers! This was my second pair Hope they will stretch! I hate going thru all the trouble to send back to exchange!

I bought these puppies in Jan 2023. I live in Michigan and needed some every day slippers for walking around on wood floors every day oct-may each year. I was hopeful that being leather they'd stand up to this usage, but after 2 years, theyre on their last legs. First the good. They are warm, I run cold, but with a pair of wool socks and these slips, my feet are never cold all winter. The sole is also durable. The bottoms of the shoes themselves have held up great and still have some padding and are glassy smooth on the bottom. But on to the bad. The first thing to go was the fluff inside, it got matted down very quickly and thus made the slipper too big, it kind of rolls around on my foot now. I dont think even sizing down would help because its a width issue, its wayyyy to wide now! I think perhaps due to this issue, there thing thats going to make me throw these out after 2 years is the seams coming undone. On the edges towards the front of my foot the leather twine is disintegrating and the upper and lower are coming apart. I'm thinking I'll not buy these again to replace them, I'll try another brand with leather soles

Great, warm slippers that can even be worn outside. My family has been wearing these for years; they wear well. They do stretch out a little with wearing, but next time I will order one size larger as I like my slippers to be looser and sometimes I wear socks, which the current size (my regular size) do not allow room for.

Not quite what they used to be (sizing inconsistent); very nice slippers donated to homeless shelter.

This is 2 year review. Got these slippers Christmas 2022. I love how thick the wool is inside, and forms perfectly to my foot. It gives me the support I need when walking around the house. It keeps my ankles warm without the need for socks. Helps prevent my feet from getting super sweaty. And if I wear them too long without socks and they start to stink, I give them a break and the natural awesomeness of wool deodorizes it self.(Outcomes may vary from person to person) I wear these everyday day. Even in the ever changing climate in the inter mountain West where we can get snow in June. So I will fairly acknowledge that these get daily wear with my ballerina duck walk. ( If you've done ballet you know what I am talking about ) Because of my out turned walk, the crucial threading that holds the bottom of the slippers to the body of the slippers is fraying and the bottom of the slipper is detached. I am making a feeble attempt to remedy the issue with lesser quality materials. But for $100, it really saddens me that my favorite footwear is falling apart. Pictures will be attached. I recommend these slippers. I love these slippers. But cotton cord to sew the bottoms on could be rethought because there are people who walk like ducks.

I ordered my usual size, and because of the insert explaining they would be tight at first, I was patient, even though they were really hard to put on. I've worn them a lot, but they are still hard to put on. I wish I had ordered the next larger size. I have high arches, so that may be the problem.

I really like these slippers and am grateful that they were available in a wide width. I have bunions, so it's difficult to find any slippers that fit well, let alone slippers that are warm and cozy. My feet are often cold, so I appreciate the warmth! I normally wear a size 6 1/2 wide, so I ordered a size 7 wide in these. The left foot fit just fine, but the right one felt a little too short; that foot is a tad longer than the other one. I was afraid that a size 8 wide would be too floppy, though, because my heels slip slightly in the size 7 wide. After following the suggestion to wear the slippers for a few days, I was disappointed that the right slipper still felt a bit too short. So I put a shoe tree in it for several days, and that solved the problem. I would recommend the slippers because they're warm and comfy, and the size wide accommodates my wide forefoot. I just wish the heels were a big more snug. Also, this might sound weird, but I wish L.L. Bean would stop using the "wicked" description on the names of some of its products. I realize that's a regional expression, but to me -- and maybe to others in other parts of the country -- that word has a very negative connotation.

Bought a 10...usually wear 9.5 or 10 Quality looks good. Seems a LITTLE tight. 10.5 would be perfect . 11 Too big. Narrow also. Will try a foam insert .A very thin one to try and give more width. The sole part is Narrow not actual width of Slipper. So feels a little funny. Too bad...got dark brown with black lining = Very nice.

These were purchased for my wife to be a Christmas gift. This is the second pair she's gotten. She loves the fit and comfort. Just wish they were maybe a little less expensive and would last a little longer. Have nothing but good things to say for all the Bean products we've gotten over the years.

I like these slippers. Cozy and warm. They don't last forever and shouldn't be worn outside. The tag inside isn't comfortable and should be removed.

Feels a little strange under foot. Insert explains that it will shape to wearer's foot.

Really love these slippers. They keep your feet cozy and warm. I wear an 8 and they fit perfectly. One thing to note is there is a tag on the inside that I can feel near my arch. It doesn't hurt but I just think it is an odd place to put it. The leather on these doesn't seem to be as thick as the previous pair I've owned for 5 years. I hope these last as long as they are my favorite slippers!

Excellent quality materials inside + out. I purchased the chocolate brown and am very happy with the colors. Very warm and cozy lining. The fit was very different from my 10-year-old pair -- the toe tapers much more than before. I probably should have sized up one whole size. It has stretched out a little with wear but is still a little tight on my toes (length is OK). The insole was a very narrow and uncomfortable initially, but after about a week it flattened and became comfortable.

Really warm and nice. A bit narrow in the toes. Hopefully will loosen with wear.

I love these and wish that I did not have to send them back. Like a lot of women I have a narrow heel. Unfortunately my heel comes right out and even socks will not keep the slipper on.

L.L. Bean is quickly asking for a review. I love these slippers. They are warm, comfy and made with quality materials. Craftsmanship is yet to to be determined. I have another pair and the stitching around the base gave out in less than a year, that is disappointing in my opinion. So, I guess I will give the benefit and rate 4 stars here. Hoping these are made better to reflect the price. They fit true to size as well! Cheers

Great slippers but ordered my regular size and they're too small. Doesn't feel like they'll stretch with time. Also the interior tag is in a horrible place. Very irritating. Reordering larger size. Really hope it works

I have purchased these slippers for myself and as gifts over the past 10+ years. My current pair, bought in 2019, is falling apart the comfy lining has worn away, and the stitching started coming apart at the toe 6 months ago. They lasted less than 4 years. In contrast, the pairs I bought years ago would last for 5+ years. Having said that, I am still going to buy another pair because they are so comfy. This will likely be my last pair though, unless the quality has improved.
