I like this boot a lot. I had major spine surgery in September, and cannot bend at the waist or twist my torso for many months. I need my husband to put my socks on, and tie any footwear that has laces. So I was looking for boots that I could put on myself. I can (usually) put these on with the aid of a long shoe horn! I also need something with good support, so I can wear them walking, which is a major part of my rehab.

Bought these 2 years ago - love them. Best winter boots ever. then you improved them with the larger stretch knit "collar" making it even easier to pull them on. So now I have two pair, and bought a pair for my daughter in NJ for Christmas! Thanks!

First time purchasing LL Bean footwear. Nice looking boot, warm and waterproof. I am a solid 9 1/2 in most brands but this pair was very tight overall even wearing a lightweight wool crew sock.
I'd also recommend:

They keep your feet warm and dry and offer safe traction. If you order the half size up, they aren't hard to put on. Good looking, too!

best bootie I've purchased in many years; sturdily made; good ice and snow grip; I ordered a wide and my inserts work well.

Absolutely love this boot! So comfy! I wear them to run errands/walk the dogs. Not hard to get on, just put your finger in the look and pull it on. Was a tad snug at first but loosened up after a couple wears. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I was hesitant to order these based on reviews but I am so glad I did! I didn't really think they were hard to get on, just put my finger in the loop on back and slid my foot in. Typical for this style. I would say that they fit a bit more snug than other styles so you might consider sizing up by half. I can't speak to warmth or waterproofing yet but I'm sure they will be fine. Overall I'm very pleased with these boots.

I purchased this snow sneaker in size 7D. I have worn them in mild, non-snowy weather. I found them comfortable, sturdy for walking with a cane on a rainy surface in Boston, MA.

A boot that finally fits my narrow heel. I am a 91/2 narrow and I ordered a 91/2 and it is perfect. Thank you going to Iceland with this boot.

Really cute bootie. The pull at the back of the shoe was small, making it hard for me to get the booties on and off.

This is my third pair over the years. They are very comfortable and good in the snowy and icy weather.

It is a struggle to slip my narrow foot into this boot, but once I do, it's quite comfortable with my custom orthotics added to the boot insole. A little zipper may help this frequently mentioned issue. They aren't quite as comfortable as my laced snow sneakers, so will use these for occasions with minimal walking.

They are very difficult to put on, even using a shoehorn. Without a shoehorn can't get them on. Have to wear a lightweight sock. Look nice and are comfortable. Would not buy them again

I was excited to get new snow sneakers! My 40 year old hook and loop Bean boots were finally needing a replacement after the Velcro finally started to fail. There were no similar boots available so decided to try these slip-ons. They are warm, and are so comfortable. I have very narrow feet so they feel slightly wide, but are not floppy. Only reason I did not give 5 stars is that they are VERY difficult to pull on. I am looking for a long shoehorn to help slide my foot into the boot. I like these boots but still would rather have the hook and loop closure.

I read the reviews before I bought these and I agree that they are a challenge to put on at first. The top is quite tightly knit and takes a little work to get your feet in the boots. After wearing them quite often I have found that they get easier to put on. They keep my feet warm and are very comfortable. I have had no trouble walking in the snow. The tread is excellent.

Nice boot. I bought a shoehorn ahead of time, as noted by reviewers it was going to be hard to put on--it was. It was the perfect length, and I always wear a 6 1/2 in Bean's boots and sometimes wear a 7 wide in other brands like 'easy spirit.' If this boot came in a wide 61/2 it would have been perfect, my bunion is a problem with medium shoes. Too bad Bean doesn't have any wide lasts for sizes under 7. Going up a half size makes for tripping and I always have to return them.
