Love these boots. Just what I was looking for. Great fit and so comfortable. Would recommend them.

I was looking for some pull-on winter footwear and got these. Although they are very hard to pull on initially, they are superbly comfortable and the pull-on issue loosens up over time. They are warm, fit well, keep their looks, and am very glad I got them!

Excellent fit. They keep my feet warm and dry. Very comfortable even after a 5 mile walk.

I was looking for a boot I can wear in the snow for long dog walks and I did not want to have to take the time to tie laces etc. This is the boot! I love it. It is so easy to put on/take off and it is very comfortable. I have no problems getting them on/off by hand - not sure what is going on with the other reviewers who have had trouble with that.

I live in a snowy area. The boots are warm and water proof.

Europe winter vacation involves walking every day. These kept me warm and dry in every type of weather we encountered. Good grip on icy cobblestone paths, downpours and sunny days. Only shoes I wore for the entire two-week trip!

Really nice snow boots that will keep my feet so warm and dry. I can not wait to wear them on the many outdoor walks I hope to take this Autumn and Winter. I bought these boots because I always have cold feet when the weather turns cold and wet.

I wore these boots on a trip to a cold climate where I needed a good walking shoe. They were comfortable on long walks and were also good on a short hike over uneven terrain. Importantly, they fit my feet well (narrow heels, average toe box). Great boots. PS - a shoe horn is helpful.

I found these shoes to be very comfortable tru to size and cushioned

My follow up reviewI bought these shoes to take on a Winter trip to Switzerland and Germany. They were FANTASTIC!!! I wore them everyday, all day for over a month. They were great for walking and hiking. They kept my feet dry and warm, even when I wore them sledding in the Swiss Alps! I'm back home now in San Diego and they are still my shoe of choice because they are so comfortable.

These boots are warm and comfy. I almost didn't buy them because of several reviews saying people couldn't get them on. I have no idea what's going on there but there is no problem putting these on. If it's a size thing, I wear a women's size 10. Really, completely normal shoe-on situation here!

Love them! I wanted them to hike the small mountain at our house- perfect for that. Alittle hard to get on while new, but sure they will give as I wear them. I just used thinner socks and did fine.

I am normally an 8 M. I ended up with a 9 M to allow room for my custom orthotic. There is a tab to hold on to at the heel end of the shoe, which is helpful, because it is snug shoe. (A shoehorn is an alternative). However, once on, this is a very comfortable, warm shoe. I bought the show in the LL Bean store, and the saleswoman was enormously patient and helpful. Old fashioned, great customer service is rare these days. Kudos to LL Bean

For me this is definitely a 5 star ankle boot which has enough traction to deal with snow. If you have a high instep you may need a shoe horn (or handle of a large soup spoon) to slip into the boot. I use the soup spoon handle. Once on, they are extra comfy, warm and easy to wear in snow or not. I wish these came in more colors. Fit is normal/expected.

So comfortable.I'll admit they were a challenge to get on the first 2-3 times, but once I wore them for about an hour, they relaxed into the perfect fit. I would highly recommend them. I purchased an 8 1/2 wide.

Love, Love, Love!!! Need 6.5 so bought 7. Next pair will get a 6.

I agree with other reviewers that the boots are very difficult to get on. I almost sent them back. Once I got them on, the fit is great and they are so comfortable. I think they will get easier to get on and off as i wear them. I wanted these because they have a good tread for icy conditions. They are also nicely insulated and very warm. I wanted something that I could wear for my fitness classes (light aerobic) and I wouldnt have to worry about falling on the ice getting there. I got an 8-1/2 W which is my usual size and they fit perfectly with wool socks.

Once you get them on, they feel great. You will have very comfy feet.

They are a little tight to get on but oh so comfy once you get them on!
