Sadly had to rerun. Could not get foot in even with thin socks. Disappointing especially for the price.

I love LL Bean and been a customer for many years, but was very disappointed with these snow sneakers. I ordered them online in Black and could not get my foot in the shoe even with thin socks. The opening is so narrow and the cloth sides had no stretch at all. I returned them to my local outlet and saw that I was not the only one returning them. There were five others on the shelf, just in my size. There also happened to be one pair in Blue and I tried it on. There was a little effort to get my foot in, but it had much more flexibility than those in Black. I did notice that the shoe ran a little small. All my other Bean shoes are size 9, but my toes were right up against the tip. I would need to order size 9.5. I hope the manufacturer makes a change by either making the opening more flexible or adding a zipper. These snow sneakers would be great shoes if only I could wear them.

I was eventually able to get my bare foot into one, after working at it for a couple of minutes. You'd think a wide shoe would be made to accommodate a wide foot. I wish I had read the customer comments on a similarly styled shoe. Same problem. Unfortunately, will have to return them. Otherwise, they're nice, and once on my foot, it fit perfectly. Size = 7.5 wide.

I will be returning these as they are far too difficult to get on. They are so tight around the opening. I also ordered a wide boot but my foot was completely squashed from the sides, I can't possibly imagine what a normal width would feel like! I ordered size 9 as that is my size and it said it ran true to size, but it most definitely does not, squashed toes too. I'm very disappointed as this style is exactly what I'm looking for. How long will they "pass this info along to the design team" before they finally change the design??! Please fix it, LL Bean.

It was not a new pair of shoes. They had trace of dirt and they were deformed. I know why: Absolutely uncomfortable , heavy, tough, not slipon

I am a huge LLBean fan...our whole family wears and uses so many LLBean products. However, these snow sneakers are a fail. The opening is so narrow that I can't get my heal past it to get the shoe on...at least not without a good struggle. The overall length is also too short. I ordered an 8...the largest size I have ever worn, yet these are a hair too small as my toes are bumping up against the tip and I only tried them on with thin socks. I love the way they look, but unfortunately will need to return.

I love LL Bean snow sneakers, have had them for quite a few years. Since LL Bean hasn't had blue snow sneakers in ladies for awhile I was excited to get this pair. I have narrow feet and still had trouble putting these on and taking them up. They need a zipper or ties. Small opening on top so hard to get feet in. Disappointed. Thinking about returning them. LL Bean really needs to go back to selling blue snow sneakers ladies with ties. They have a navy blue one in mens with ties. They should offer the same ones to ladies.

I liked the look of these, so I ordered them. I could not get them on. So I returned them. I guess I need a zipper or lace up pair of boots.

Theses are too difficult to get on. I wear a 10 medium & tried getting them on wearing nylons & not socks which I would want to wear with them & even with a shoe horn it was a struggle. Getting them off was harder than getting them on; I thought I might have to get my husband to cut them off as my foot would not come out; after a lot of tugging & using the shoehorn, my foot finally came out. They aren't worth this much effort. If you have a narrow, skinny foot, they might work for you. Also, the one I finally got on was not very comfortable.

I should have paid attention to previous reviews. I ordered 1/2 size up and wide width, but I couldn't get my foot into the boot. I don't know about length

I really did want this to fit, but I couldn't even get my foot into the snow sneaker/boot . It is exactly what I need, but no amount of pulling/pushing got my foot [normal size 7, but ordered 7.5 to allow room for my foot to go in, which didn't work] into the boot. Hate to leave a poor review, but if my foot cannot even break into the instep angle, I think more give is needed in the 'elasticity' of the webbing. So disappointed.

The elastic at the top didn't open enough for me to get my foot inside. What would be wonderful is if you would offer a Snow Sneaker for women, as you do for men.

I have found these boots very difficult to put on. There is very little give to position your ankle to get into the boot. I have a problem knee and I've given up stressing it to put the boot on.

I am returning the snow sneakers as they didn't fit. They are too small. Not sized correctly.

I love them but even a larger size would not do it for me. I don't come close to getting my foot in them. I disregarded the reviews - a mistake. Why do they keep making them if so many people are complaining? A zipper might help. My foot is more like a 7-1/2 so the 8 should have fit. I guess my instep is high but I've never had a problem like this. They are obviously unworn and I am returning therm.

Difficult to get your foot into! And not a comfortable footbed once they were on. This type of winter shoe is a great idea but .! I sent these back!

Unfortunately I waited for bad weather to try wearing them or I would have sent them back immediately. Tried wearing them for three hours at work and my feet kept cramping. A complete waist of money.

Even though the boot looks very nice, I was not able to slide my foot in the shoe! I wear a 7.5 but I just think the opening was not wide enough for my foot to slip in. I am disappointed because I like the style and color.

I have a narrow foot and am in my 30s, so didn't expect to have trouble slipping these shoes on. I was wrong. These were so narrow, that my toes felt squished on top of each other. Returning.

Nicely made, the good quality I expected. Unfortunately I couldn't get them on my feet. If your instep is high at all, your foot can't get past the ankle of the boot. Exchanged them for a different style that had a zipper. Much easier to put on! Recommend that try them before you buy them.

I have no idea how the fit or comfort would be, as I couldn't get my foot inside the boot. I have high arches and short feet, and apparently that combination wasn't planned for when they designed this footwear. They look great, but that does me no good at all, since I can't put them on.
