I had to return them because they were too difficult to get on. Otherwise I loved them, but it was a huge effort to get them on and I wanted something I could slip on and off easily

These booties would be perfect if they had a zipper to help get them on. I have a narrow flat foot and couldn't get them on without a struggle. Too bad because once I got them on they were perfect and just what I wanted. Please update the style with a zipper.

This shoe didn't fit me at all. I could not get my foot into it. So I gave it to my daughter and it fit her just fine!!! I did order another different style with a zipper in it and it worked OK.

I returned these boots as it was impossible to even slip my feet into them and I have average size feet!

I bought these to use for quick trips outside with the dog in wet weather. The boots fit perfectly once I got my feet into them. The opening was too small to slip my feet into without a struggle.

The foot opening was too small. I was unable to put my foot in and returned the boots.

I love the look of these boots, and I know they would fit my foot if I could get them on. The ankle hole is too narrow or too tall or too rigid so I can't get them on. They will be returned. My fault for not reading the reviews. Only purchase these boots if you have no heel or very, very narrow feet and ankles.

I had high hopes I was getting a replacement for my old snow sneakers, but these boots were disappointing. I ordered my normal size, but I could not get them on! The opening was so narrow I almost injured my shoulder from tugging so hard. Once my foot was in, it was so tight there was no room for socks! Sadly I am returning them!

Love the style but too hard to pull on because of arthritis in hands :(

Although these boots are nice looking and well made, they are almost impossible to pull on. A redesign to allow more stretch in the gussets would help.

I have loved llbean for decades but I purchased these boots and have never been more disappointed..the style was changed at the ankle and I struggled all winter to get them on..the material around the ankle would collapse making it impossible to get them on easily.. I purchased a gray pair 5 years ago and loved them..so much so that I wore them out..my recent purchase I regret..what a waste of $140..

Nice looking snow sneaker but was almost impossible to get on. I refuse to use a shoe horn to wrestle/force my foot into the item (not sure how I would get it off). I ordered 1/2 size up to insure a reasonable fit with socks. Returned without wearing.

Appear to be well made, but very difficult for this old lady to put on. I had to return them. Once I struggled to get one on, it did fit appropriately. Thanks to LL Bean, the return process was extremely easy!

This shoe was impossible to get on. It needs a zipper. Once I scrapped up my heels getting my foot into it. It was 2 sizes too small

Had to take my socks off to even get my foot in this boot because of the angle. I ordered (and received) wide, but this does not fit like a wide.

These do NOT fit well at all. Getting your foot in them is next to impossible and then if you can get your foot in there it's going to be squished. I ordered a full size up from my usual AND got it in wide and this shoe was still no where near fitting. I'm honestly super disappointed in L.L. Bean. Quality and craftsmanship has been going downhill.

I always wear a 9 1/2 W but given the amount of reviews that had trouble getting these boots on I ordered a 10 W. Using a long shoe horn I could not get my foot into the boot. I suspect that many of those who had trouble with these boots are inclined toward a high instep which is my situation. Please disregard the mandatory length and width choices, like I wrote I never got my foot inside so they are nothing more than guesses.

This boot is absolutely darling, but sadly, even though I have a narrow foot and ordered the correct size I couldn't even get my foot all the way into the boot. The opening is very narrow and doesn't stretch much. It seems like it's an issue with how the boot is cut. I have purchased many items from LL Bean in the past and love all of them. I wear a size 9.5 and ordered the same size. I didn't exchange for a different size as the length appeared to be fine.
