So these are everything I love about birks, except for the first time in my Birkenstock life, they caused major pain in my front pad of my foot. I actually thought it had to be something else and it took me months to finally suspect these. As I'm a flat footer who's always been able to wear birks...these just have too much arch support for me to the point of pain. And I'm so disappointed. And yes, I wore them for over a year now and even gently hammered the arch and sections of the footbed that felt too bulbous to my foot. Still foot pain. Now that I haven't worn them for a month and my foot is feeling much better...darn. I'll miss these and my other pair of birks.

Love the way these feel and look, hate that they don’t last long. I can sometimes get a year out of them, but my last pair only a month. Zappos replaced with new same ones but I’m disappointed that they are not oil look. They are just light brown and not like my previous ones

I WISH these came in wide widths and I WISH toe wrapped shoes or thong style was comfortable. But it's not.

The fit and size are good. However, the leather for this shoe looks nothing like the picture on-line. I have tried on oiled leather in brown and it is distinctive - like the picture of the tobacco oiled leather shows on-line. These are just taupe and I already owned a pair this color. I returned the first pair because they looked like synthetic material. Second pair arrived looking nothing like the picture on-line. They are nice shoes - comfortable - but they are not as pictured on Zappos website.

the strap on one shoe I had to adjust differently. I don't know if the holes are in the wrong place or what. They both felt big and brand new that's weird. Usually they are a big snug. Cold is all wrong. Do not look oiled at a ll. A really light beige color. not what was pictured.

These Birks are not leather and therefore feel a lot different on my feet. There is no "give" like there is with my other leather/suede Birkenstocks. I loved the look, but they are not comfortable at all, even though the fit is fine. I ordered these because the leather ones were backordered. I will return and wait for the real leather to come back in stock.

The shoes run big had to return for the narrow because they are really wide for my feet and makes them a whole size bigger

These are really pretty sandals but they are just too hard. I have worn Birkenstocks for years and they never hurt my feet. These did. Too bad because the light blue color is gorgeous.

Love the look of these Birkenstocks but, unfortunately, they were only available in a narrow width. Unlike the Arizona style, the narrow in Mayari is really narrow. Sadly they were uncomfortable and had to send them back.

At first glance I thought these sandals were really, super cute and I was excited to try a pair of Birkenstock's! I got the lace color which is so, so, so pretty in person! However, once out of the package and on my feet - they did not work for me. Bummer! I'm not a fan of post toe sandals and was hoping the general design of the straps would not bother me, but that feeling of separation between my toes did in fact bother me. I was also a bit surprised that the footbed did not feel more comfortable. I understand that it eventually molds to your foot but right out of the box, not comfortable at all. I returned and am trying a pair of Arizona style, even though they are not really "stylish". At this point, comfort and support are #1.

Too much arch for a flat foot.

i got a defective pair in the tulip color. The non adjustable part of the toe loop on the right sandal is bigger than the same piece on the left foot. They are sold out in my size in this color but i do recommend.

I wear a 36 in my other Birkenstock’s but you recommend a 37 for a size 6 - 61/2 foot. The shoe is Very wide and long for me. I will try the narrow in a smaller size.

I love Birkenstock Sandles, I wear them all the time. The Mayari is very nice.. but the narrow is not for me.. I needed the regular.

These Birks are very cute—a bit more stylish. However was really shocked to find that the buckles are stapled on—they hurt like hell. Decided to keep after putting bandaids over the staples. Also I have big feet and ordered my usual 41. They are a tad short but larger isn’t available.

This was the first pair of Birkenstock that I'd bought in about ten years, and as soon as I put them on I remembered that it took a very long time to break in the last ones. It's like walking around on little planks -- think Frankenstein -- and the straps are ridiculously rough. After wearing them around the house for quite a while -- and developing a couple of blisters -- I decided it wasn't worth the effort and discomfort.

Purchased in my normal size 40 and wanted to love these but the top strap is a little large, the adjustable strap is great but the other strap across the top of the toe doesn’t adjust. I have shorter wide toes and these just made my feet look strange. Longer toed people these would be so cute on! Otherwise truly comfortable! Sending back for a different style!

fit was good, footbed felt great, Zappos as usual wonderful. Unfortunately the strap between the toes was stiff and uncomfortable so I am returning

Nice sandal but an EU 37 is not equal to a US size 6.6.5. The sandal felt more like a size 8.

I had high hopes for these shoes as I previously owned a pair of Mayari’s a few years ago. I originally ordered a size 40 but exchanged them for a 39. From toe to heel the 39’s fit perfectly. I wore them for one day and the shoes rubbed my feet in all the wrong places and on both feet. After taking them off for a bit, I tried them again and it hurt too much wear them. They seemed extremely narrow. Despite me acknowledging with a Zappos representative (Hunter G......thank you!) that I indeed wore them for a day, the company accepted the shoes back for a full return. For that I am thankful as they are a pretty pricey shoe. Thank you Zappos!

I ordered a size 36 per recommendation from website. I usually wear a size 5W. These were almost a size too big.

I bought these because much less expensive than mephisto’s that I normally where. No where near as comfortable so I returned. If you have never tried mephisto’s I am sure they are great.
