The sandals were wore before or tried on by someone else/ the straps were unbuckled. Not great since I paid for new sandals.

i have bunions,.......so not fitting well

I'm normally a 7. Size 38- way too big. Size 37-too small. I don't understand why Birkenstock sandals can't make half sizes. I really wanted to love these, but my toes kept touching the front when trying them out at home.

Color seemed offf

all my Brik's at size 40 these feel a half size to small :-(

No matter what they say (5.5/6 sizing), a 36 in EU size is an American 6 and 35 is a size 5. I ordered the 5.5/6 and it's just too big. I will have to get my Birk's on Ebay. Sad but true!!

Love the look! But the right one (after wearing 4 times) still irritates between the toes…

To me, this leather was very stiff and uncomfortable, so I was disappointed in this purchase given the positive reviews. My size fit, but I could feel the leather cutting into my big toe, so I'm returning this.

It's just taking sooo long to break them in. I have no idea if it will be worth it.

Sadly, the shoe doesn’t fit my problematic feet. Bunions make finding comfortable shoes a challenge.

fit well and overall style was great. However, the leather had a greenish tint, was not a pure tan/brown. Didn't care for that.

I'm not a fan of the oiled finish. Not sure of it's purpose...maybe I'm missing something!

I have worn Birkenstock for 9 years and have two pair of the Mayari style. This order was for the dark blue and the leather was so hard and stiff it was too much pain to break in. Never have I had Mayari or Arizona with such thick hard leather. Wondering if Birkenstock has gone to a less quality leather.

These are so uncomfortable! The leather is so hard! Good looking but uncomfortable!

I absolutely love Birkenstocks and have a few pair but I’ve very disappointed in how these are holding up. I just purchased earlier this year and the soles are already wearing out. There’s a slight crack starting on the cork bed as well. They are definitely making them cheaper which is really upsetting because they cost a lot!!

My daughter wanted these so badly but they were so expensive. I finally gave in and got her a pair. Shortly thereafter, she was given some similar Birkenstock look shoes but the brand was Cushionaire. After wearing the Cushionaire she passed her Birks on to me. Sadly I’ve tried on both pair and she is right, the much cheaper shoe is way more comfortable. I wear the Birks just because I had to pay for them. But they are only moderately comfortable. My legs ache after wearing them all day. You are paying to wear a brand with this shoe.

Did not like the way these sandals felt. Prefer Mephisto for comfort.

Toe hole killed my big toe. Couldn't wear them.

The color was not like the others I have purchased in toil rubbed tobacco brown. It looks more like the normal leather. They have not “weathered” like the others I have had in the color as this is my favorite color Birkenstock makes. It makes me wonder if I was given the wrong color.

Love the matte black color and style. I have an older pair of this style so felt confident in my size selection however this pair is significantly smaller than my last pair or size 38. The bottom sole is nearly a 1/2 inch narrower than my last pair which translates to the interior footbed being narrower. I have to squeeze/shimmy my foot into the shoe using the last buckle hole on the strap and my foot literally did not fit within the footbed both in width and length. I do have wide feet but this style has always fit me in the past. Very disappointed that this change in the sizing is not mentioned anywhere in the product description on Zappos or the Birkenstock website.
