I have been wearing the Mayari style in suede and they are very comfortable. These with the oiled leather were very uncomfortable across the tops of my feet. Where the Leather overlaps on the buckle of the toe strap really irritated my foot. I returned and kept the silver Mayari that are not leather and they are very comfortable.

This particular pair had an imperfection on the toe loop of the right foot. It was stitched higher up in between the toe and it was looser/gaping too much. This is why I could not keep this pair.

Oddly huge! I wear a 6 in everything and typically get the 37 in Birkenstock’s. This 37 was huge! I sent it back and got a 36. The 36 is a full size too big as well so now I’m exchanging for a 35 or a 4.5-5, which is absurd. I worry about the quality control?

Unfortunately I wanted to give the shoes a good review but the toe strap just broke literally after 2 days of wear. Seems like it was glued in the seam and not nailed down. So that's a bummer.

I love the fit and style but the leather bleeds and turns my toes black.

I love the color and style of these, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to adjust the straps on the right shoe so that it wouldn’t flap when I walked. It just didn’t fit or feel the same as the left one. It didn’t have the arch support I expected, but I understand they need to be broken in, so perhaps this improves with break-in. I did not keep them long enough to break-in due to the poor fit of the right shoe. Due to Birkenstock’s outstanding user reviews and reputation, I am returning these and ordering another pair in the hope that this was just a random manufacturing error.

A little long. I really need just a 37. Why are you sizing 7-7 1/2

This is the second pair of Mayari Birkenstocks I have ordered from Zappos. The first fit like a dream on my wide feet, and I was thrilled to have found a good shoe that I could continue to replace when worn out. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Fast forward three years, and it is time to replace my worn out Mayaris. I ordered the exact same size and material as the original shoe, but received a product that was 1/4 inch narrower in width than the original! I double-checked all the labeling in case I was accidentally sent (or if I accidentally ordered!) a narrow width rather than regular, but that was not the case. I don't know if Birkenstock started making this model a little narrower, or if the pair I received just happened to be an anomaly, but I'm so disappointed since the new ones are just too small to keep. Returning, and headed to a brick and mortar store to see if maybe this was just a fluke...

Nice shoes but the leather is so stiff. I know it will soften over time but I will have blisters in my toes till it does.

I wear a 40 or 9-9.5 these were too big! I had to send them back! I love Birkenstock! It was this style I have a med width foot w high arch!

These fit nothing like my other Birks. Very tight around the toe abs the color is almost green. Disappointed.

Had to return these because the strap between the toes was not very comfy. I know they would’ve been fine once broken in but I got them for vacation and didn’t have time to break them in. Also the color was not as dazzling as they could be.

the toe bar on this shoe hurt my toe. I have others but this particular shoe just hurt. Will return.

Fit & Size were fine... however, the underneath side of the toe strap where the buckle is attached has the metal staple holding the buckle coming through & rubbing on my left foot.. left a scrape, not a blister, a scrape. I'll have to take a hammer to underside of the buckle to push the metal staple back up into the leather strap itself. Right sandal is fine. With my foot size, there aren't many choices available so I'll fix it myself, but this is not what I expected out of a $100+ pair of sandals. If it weren't for the staple coming through, I'dve given this a better rating... I shouldn't have to be fixing a $100+ pair of sandals...

I like the looks and feel of this sandal, but they were too big. I usually wear an 8 or 8 1/2 in my running shoes, so I ordered the 39. However, this was just too large. I’ve had some tendonitis in my foot, and my podiatrist said not to wear flip flops, but the arch support and the heel cup felt like they would provide necessary support.

These Birks are super cute but extremely narrow between the arch and heel. Too uncomfortable to wear. I was sad to return as I’ve written Birkenstocks for years.

I like the concept and always hear from others how comfortable they are. It may be the style or my feet, but I didn’t care for them.

I was nervous about ordering “regular” width. My suspicions proved correct. Way too wide. They’re going back. I have a A-to-B width foot, low arch, low profile. Have worn Birkenstock since 1975. Narrow is my width, for sure!

Overall I was disappointed for the price I paid. The sizing is odd, it's a range 9-9.5, or 8-8.5. Because I am generally a 9, I went with the 9-9.5 which ended up being wayyyy to big. I sent those back and went with the next size, again a range, and they felt slightly too small. Despite this, I decided to keep the smaller size and see if they stretch out a little, hoping they do.

I have warn Birkenstocks for more years than I can count. This is the first pair that failed on me in two and a half years. The toe strap broke. It won't stop me from buying Birkenstocks but may not this style.

Unfortunately, a strap over the toe completely broke after moderate use for 3 months. I had another pair in the past that lasted for 5 years! Not sure if this was a fluke or this product is being more cheaply manufactured these days.

Tried to break them in gradually. Still feels hard on the heel and on the toes.

I love the shoes and have had several pair of Birkenstocks. This pair didn’t last 2 years before the toe strap broke. I’m contacting them to see if they will replace.

I LOVED these sandals for the two weeks they lasted until the top metal buckle broke on one of the straps. It was a true bummer. I have sent them back and Im ordering another pair because they fit my feet SO well and are very comfortable. Hopefully, it was a fluke issue.

If you like Birkenstock these are for you. I have never worn them and they are so popular I’d give them a try -not fit me, stiff insole and just felt clunky….sorry Birki!!
