They would be great if they were what I ordered. I ordered Mayari Tobacco Oiled Leather. I got a taupe suede. Return doesn’t help when they are what you are taking on a trip in two days. Oh, well. Disappointing.

Mayari style Birkenstock sandals are my favorite. This new pair is replacing the ones I have had for several years. True to size. Fits comfortably over my big toe bunion and camouflages it, which I like. It takes a short while to break in the shoe. Very comfortable to wear on long walks on ground and streets/sidewalks. I recommend these sandals as they look great, comfortable, and durable.

This is my second pair of this design of Birkenstocks and my 3rd pair overall. I like a well made, supportive shoe and these are reliably that. These sandals fit like a glove and are comfortable out of the box. I usually get blisters on the tops of my feet from new sandals, but so far that has not occurred wearing these around the house waiting for spring. When I first opened the shoes in my sun room during daylight I thought that maybe they sent me black ones by mistake, the leather was fairly dull and did not seem blue at all. After wearing them around the dark blue is becoming more obvious. I really want those magenta ones, I will buy those when they are back in stock.

Even though I wear a size 7, Birkenstock's size 37 fit me perfectly, and the Mayari is my favorite style. This blue was exactly what I was looking for.

I love the look of these shoes. Like all Birkenstocks they will take awhile to break in but I can’t wait.

My little toe on my right foot curls under to the point that I walk on it which is very painful. I'm avoiding surgery at the moment and decided to try these birks- they are AMAZING! Right out of the box my toe felt supports and comfortable. The straps that "hold" your big toe in place lead to less toe gripping than the Arizonas (which I've worn for 30 years and did love- but hurt my toe). These act more like a flip flop, but with lots of support and comfort. LOVE these! The tobacco color is a nice neutral shade.

The toe strap is so tight, I cannot make these work. I've worn them in the past and really liked them, but I feel like my big toe is being strangled in these.

I have never purchased Birkenstocks previously. When I saw them on others, they always looked comfortable. I liked this style, so I thought I would try a pair. They were so difficult to put on! I adjusted the straps but they felt really tight, stiff and there was no "give." They were the strangest pair of shoes I have ever tried. I have read other reviews that indicated you must wear them for a few days to have them adjust to your feet. To me, if a shoe is not immediately easy to wear and fits well, it goes back. So back they go.

Not comfortable at all. It feels llike your foot is being turned to the side a bit in this shoe. Because there is no movement in the sole, plantar facitis likely flare. The heel area is narrow and Im pretty sure my heels are not wide. The strappy style doesnt match the weight of the sole, odd match for me. Returning these sandals.

I have worn these for 12 years and they have been the best! They helped with alignment of the body and were so comfortable. These were not as wide as previous years and I could not wear them. So I returned them.

These are extremely comfortable and stable shoes. They fit perfectly and help with balance. Highly recommend.

Love the look and feel of these shoes!

Fit was perfect for my 9.5 and wide-ish feet. Comfy from day one (I typically wear summer shoes in TX). I've had these for almost a year now and they're good as new.

According to the size chart, I would wear a Euro size 38 as my US shoe size is 7. The 38, however, was too big so I exchanged them for a 37. Unfortunately, the pair I received had a distinct different color on one of the toe straps. I read that the oiled leather could vary in color, but this was a case of the sandal having the dark brown Habana color & one strap in a lighter mocha color. I returned that pair and ordered yet another size 37 and, though the color was great, the fit was not. This pair did not fit comfortably as the left shoe was slightly smaller than the right. Thank you, Zappos, for having such a great return policy but I guess this just isn’t the Birkenstock sandal for me.

Love these shoes!! Have every color and wear them year round, even in snow.

These are my second pair of Birkenstocks. I bought my first pair a few years ago. They were recommended by my pediatrist. My feet feel so much better when I put them on after a long day of standing on my feel at work. They are so comfortable. If one pair is good, 2 pairs is better. Love these!

This is the only sandals I wear, because I’d like to toe rings the best. This fits a great wider foot or more arch support is excellent fit is excellent. I wear a size 41 and Birkenstock same size 41 fits perfect. I have an extensive collection of these sandals because they fit so well. The weather is beautiful just like the reputation from Birkenstock. I am a Birkenstock fan of the sandal forever. It’s the perfect marriage of my foot with this sandal.

Love Birkenstocks! Great arch support and last forever. Well worth the money. And Zappos ships fast!

Unfortunately the first pair I received were damaged/had previously been worn, but Zappos helped me do an exchange and these sandals worked out great! Are super comfortable and look nice.
