I purchased just before a trip. I like the style and the support when I tried on in a local store. Unfortunately, they did not have the style and color I wanted. I have excellent history with Zappos and found what I wanted. Since I procrastinated, thinking they might be on sale, I paid extra for shipping! They arrived in time for the trip, but alas, 1/2 size too big. I will return only for that reason and will wait for a sale and reorder. I am a 37 or 38 in 90% of my footwear. These are 37 (6-6.5) and will need to return for 36.

I normally wear 7-7.5 and ordered the 38 which is a whole size too big. Keeping them because I threw the box away but after wearing and figuring out where my toes were supposed to be because of the support, I realized they were too big. Will definitely order size down if I order another pair.

I liked them but one of the toe straps was a different brown than the rest of the straps. I'll be returning them.

I have these same shoes in the graceful toffee color and I love them so I decided to get them in the antique white also. For some reason the white ones are more narrow even though they are the same size and regular width. I decided to purchase another pair and see if they come the same way. I’m thinking maybe the first pair of antique whithe may have been packaged incorrectly.

I selected these Antique Lace Mayari thinking that they would be all leather. Other sandals specified "vegan" if they weren't leather and since these did not have that specification, I assumed they'd be leather. What they are is a thin leather covering over a felt-like material that in my opinion is less flexible and accommodating to the foot, particularly between the toe. It seems that most Birkenstocks are now this kind of material and the only all leather ones I've found are the ones that say "oiled leather". This is my 3rd pair of Mayari style (I love the style) the other two being all leather, and I was hoping that I could venture into other colors and still get all leather, but not so. I debated returning them but opted to keep and give the new material a go. So far (only two wearings later) I'm not crazy about the feel between the toe. My leather ones molded to me entire foot so lovingly...sigh.

I really wanted these shoes to fit. My 3rd or 4th toe on my right foot uncomfortably touched the front ridge, so I ordered a larger size, but the same thing happened. My feet are narrow, and sensitive. I know other people who rave about these shoes.

This is my second Mayari shoe that I have purchased from Zappos! My first one I wore like every other day while it was warm, and it really molded to my foot and was SO COMFY for my flat foot (also my job requires me to stand and walk all day, and it was no problem with this shoe). However from the everyday wear for about a year, the strap popped one day and rendered the shoe totally unusually. Instead of trying to get them fixed I threw them away... I’m hoping for better luck with this pair, if not I’ll contact Zappos for a replacement.

I wear a size 6 usually so I ordered a 37 because it said thats a 6-6.5, but they were too big. I ordered a 36 and they fit perfectly. Now that I have the right size I’m super happy...I love my birks!

These are great! They have wonderful arch support, are super comfortable, and seem like they're going to last! I typically wear a size 8.5, and because of this got a size 39. However, these sometimes feel like boats of me. I wish they were a half size smaller...

I wear a size 8, but ordered a size smaller (38) and they fit perfect. I did send back because of the shine on the Birk-flor, the color was great but I just couldn't get pass the shine. Zappo's is great, but it would have saved shipping back and forth if they had said it had a shine to it.

I loved these sandals until the toe loop pulled out through normal wear. I'm going to order them again hoping this is an anomoly. Cross your fingers for me.

I would have kept this particular pair of shoes if the left toe loop had not been 1/4” longer than the right. It was very obvious that it was longer. The second pair of same style and color that I ordered has the same problem but not to the degree that the first pair has.

Okay so I really love these sandals, but they still don't quite love me. I bought them almost 6 weeks before my trip to France so I could wear them on the trip. I wore them almost every day to get them broken in. But now almost 3 months later the arches are still giving me blisters if I wear them for too long. Everything else was fine after a week, but the arches are *so* very high on these. Normally I live in Chacos, and these are way higher. But they are so so cute and comfortable otherwise. I've even been wearing them around the house because they are better than walking on the hard floor! I love that I can wear them with dresses and still feel like I look nice. I got them in the licorice color, so a shiny textured black. I have very wide feet, so I still had to size up a little in these, but just a smidge and they are great. I tried the Gizah first and they were definitely too narrow. Overall, definitely recommend. I still have high hopes that I'll be able to wear them all day soon. Just taking some time! And as always, love ordering from Zappos. Crazy fast delivery, easy returns, and every customer service contact I've had has been wonderful. Thanks Zappos!

Well made, cute, and comfy, but they require some breaking in. The leather strap between the toes is a bit stiff, but not to the point that it hurts.

So I bought the Mayari Birks in stone color for an upcoming trip to Greece. I've resisted buying Birks because I genuinely never found them attractive or appealing for my feet, despite the fact that they are very trendy. Since I've bought them, my opinion has improved. I have a pretty wide foot, size 9 in most shoes. But I can usually get away with regular width. I bought these Marayi's in a size 39 and they fit good. I am curious if a size 38 would have worked, but 39 fits fine, so I'll keep them. At first, I thought they made my feet look very large (And i'm already a size 9 so its not like my feet are petite to begin with) but now that they're starting to "mold" to my feet, I don't feel as if they look as large as they used too, or maybe I'm just getting used to how they look on my feet? They do feel very secure on my foot, and I'm looking forward to walking all around Santorini in them. Mine didn't require a break-in period. They are getting more comfortable on my foot as I wear them more and more, but they were not uncomfortable at first. I wore them a few days just around the office, and for the most part I had no issues with comfort. I like the stone color. I think it goes with a lot of colors. My second choice would have been the mocha, because I think it's a pretty brown, but I'm glad I got the stone. If I wasn't going on a trip to a place where heels/wedges are frowned upon, I probably wouldn't have gotten them. But I am happy I now have a sandal that I'll be able to walk around a lot in (hopefully). So they'll serve their purpose. All in all, a pretty decent shoe that you won't get made fun of for wearing, with a lot of comfort and durability.

I have narrow feet so I loved the narrow option. The color is bright and adds some excitement to a boring outfit. It did take some time to get used to the shoes but I think that is only because they mold to your feet. I’m usually a 7.5-8 so I sized down and it’s perfect.

I normally wear a 7.5-8, and I needed a 37 in these. Using the millimeter measurement was really helpful (I.e. my foot has a maximum length of 238 mm and I order the size 37 / 6-6.5 which is for 240 mm feet. The first pair I ordered had a significant difference is the size of the ‘bump’ in the middle of the foot bed, so I ordered a second pair, which was fine. These shoes will require some breaking in to the foot bed before they don’t give blisters on longer walks, which is fine, and to be expected.

The footbed looked like it had been scruffed up a bit, overall the shoes were great.

I first ordered the tobacco, but the color of the pair I received was very different than the one pictured here. The pair I got was much lighter with no darkness to them. I’d say more of the color fawn than a dark tobacco. I returned them and waiting on black since that was the only pair in leather in my size.

Love these, my 2nd pair of mayari. They last for years and get more comfortable as you wear them. You can't go wrong with birkenstock

Love the shoe but prefer real leather over the synthetic

I like these sandals. The toe ring and arch strap make them feel more secure than a thong or a slide. The heel cup is deep; I would guess zero heel drop or close to it. Overall very nice. The only small negative I have is that I wish the color was a deeper brown. The sandals come in multiple different browns and it was impossible to tell much of a difference on screen.
