This is my third pair of Mayari's and I had to return them because they were too narrow. When compared to my other pairs, they were 1/4" narrower, even though they are the same size/width. I will try another pair, though, because Mayari's are the most comfortable sandal I have ever worn!

I have a few pair of the Arizona style but I was looking to change it up a bit and thought these were so cute. Unfortunately the suggested narrow width was a tad too narrow for me and caused the sandal to dig into my foot. I’d Iike to give the standard width a try t see if they are a better fit for me. Aside from my for issues, I found these to be a beautiful, well made sandal.

I really wanted to buy these, but the strap that goes between the big and second toe just hurt too much. It cut deep between my toes, and I couldn't risk it not improving during a break-in period so I had to return them.

I haven’t worn Birkenstock’s in a long time, but they seem so have back in style so I bought a pair an anticipated to Mexico. First off.. they are actually pretty cute. And , as I already knew, very comfortable. I usually wear 8 1/2 - 9. Bought the size 40 first, had to exchange for 39. I’m loving them.... can’t beliv I waited so long to buy another pair. The buckle by the toe did rub at first, but relaxed after wearing for about 5 days... so comfy now. Definitely recommend!

Noted the toe straps weren’t even, one was larger than the other (not the adjustable one). Therefore one toe fits tighter.

My problem feet need Birkenstocks and my foot problems have added the need for big toe separation. Unfortunately, Birkenstock leather is always very stiff. It softens eventually, so I'm bending and twisting the leather straps while watching television to make them softer. I have a month before the weather is warm enough here to wear sandals, so I'll check back in if it works. Otherwise I'll need a callous between my toes.The stiff leather is what prevents 5 stars on these for now. Some Vionics are softer, but they don't have straps I can tighten down onto my thin (but wide) flat feet.

This is really a good summer color.

I think these are so cute but the toe part bothered me. Too thick between my toes. Had to trade them for a pair of Floridas. Too bad because they are a cute style.

First time Birkenstock user. I tried them in at a local store but they didn’t have the size/color I wanted to I ordered online. I must be the only person that has had to order a size bigger than usual. The colors are great, pretty much as described. The footbed is pretty hard and has taken getting used to, but feels better after about 3 weeks. Good arch support and I can feel the whole shoe adapting to my feet, especially the toes and heel.

I ordered this in white, but the color is really grey. Not a bad color, but I want WHITE! I have a pair of the Mayari in a darker color, and they have been great. I have no arches, and have had bunion surgery on both feet. These Birkenstocks are so wonderfully comfortable, and wearing these with the excellent arch support feels like I'm helping to take care of my feet so that I don't end up with bunions again. I wear the Mayari Birkenstock as often as possible.

I wanted to love these sandals so bad. The straps were comfy along the tops of my feet and toe, but the arch is ridiculously high. I don't have flat feet, but a moderate arch and these were insanely uncomfortable at the arch. My heel barely touched the sandal because the arch was so high. I wish they came with a lower arch. They would have been perfect.

I love the style, my old Mayaris were falling apart and l rarely buy a shoe twice, but I loved the color so much I bought another pair in Tobacco. I’d buy more if they came in narrow and had the soft footbed

It took some time for my feet to adjust to these sandals. Based on the reviews I thought Birkenstock’s were like walking on air. But that wasn’t the case for me. I love them now and they’re very cute and easy to slip on, but I was disappointed they weren’t what I expected right away.

The narrow was still too wide for a slightly narrow foot.

I really wanted to like this shoe, since I love the way it looks. I first read about the width of Birkenstock on this site, which recommended that narrow would fit narrow and medium width feet. That was a mistake; it was too narrow for my comfort. I returned them for a regular width, which felt much better. However, I got a pair that was slightly mismatched in terms of the fitting of the leather straps; it was unfortunately the leather strap that was not adjustable. One shoe was too lose around the big toe, which made it uncomfortable, so I had to return this pair too. I understand that these manufacturing differences happen, but at that point, I didn't feel like asking for yet another pair. I gave up on this style and ordered a different Birkenstock.

Have worn these sandals for a year now and they are still in good shape. I don't think they'll provide much arch support after this summer but I'm hoping for the best!

So I'm an 8.5 usually, medium width. I've read that the "narrow" width fits both narrow and medium width... I think I disagree with that. I'm returning these for the "standard" width Birks, same style, and a size 38 instead of the suggested 39 for me. I tried on a few pairs at DSW and the 38 regulars are much more comfortable in my opinion. Love the color, style, and arch support, though!

Super comfy, took a while to break in but make sure you follow Birkenstock recommendations on how to break in your Birks. It really does make a difference!

I really wanted these to work, but the little loop where you put your big toe wasn’t comfortable. I returned them.

I liked the shoe. However, the color was off and one of the shoes looked like it had gotten water on it. Disappointed with the appearance, but fit was great. I will order another pair and see what shape they arrive in. I had ordered a pair in a size up that had great color and was the exact same shoe otherwise, so I know the color on this one was NOT what it was supposed to be.

I wanted to love these, but I think they're going back. They have the tightest straps I've ever experienced with the various Birkenstock styles. I had to secure them in the last hole for both buckles and they still feel snug. I have wide feet, but not really "big" feet as in thick, puffy, swollen, etc. If you have any of those, I imagine these would not fit at all. All my other Birkenstock styles I usually secure them at least a couple holes in and then have to tighten them even more as the leather stretches out. These will probably also stretch some, but they will likely not be comfortable in the meantime.

I have trouble wearing these for a full day. I have plantars fasciitis and thought these would be sufficient arch support, but they are not. I’ll have to stick to Dansko and Abeo brand shoes. I really love the look of these, but can’t wear them.

I wear a size 9 the fit comfortable maybe a inch big but they are great

These Birkenstocks were a gift. I myself have several pairs of sandals. The size and comfort are superior to other brands. they hold up to continuous everyday use and stay comfortable. I normally wear orthotic supports in my shoes, but these sandals keep my "flat" feet supported and keep me from getting alignment issues.
