I was so disappointed with these expensive water bottles, I was about to throw them in the trash! I have a $20 thermoflask with a flip top that works perfectly and keeps the water cold for24hrs. Something told me to see If hydroflask had a new straw top. I had 2 issues, the former straw tops leaked a lot looks terrible as it wears and the water does not stay cold. I gave the bottles 1 last chance and ordered 3 new flip straw tops. They do work better and do not leak all over my car, I like the new handle over the finger hole on the old top. The hydroflask bottles still do not keep water as cold as they once did. I use cold well water and 10 ice cubes in 85 degree heat and the water is barely cool in 4 hrs. I have 3 hydroflasks and I will not buy this brand anymore or recommend it.

I have had this lid on my Hydro Flask since I got it & it has been great except for the fact that you have to make sure it is pulled all the way forward for good suction to get your drink out & sometimes the straw will get blocked by ice or something I guess underneath is so I will have to unscrew it stir the contents around a bit then screw it back on. Overall I am pleased.

Love our hydroflask. Have 32 oz for 5 years. + Only wish it still had a finger loop on it. Makes it abit more difficult to drink

This is just ok, I like the old style with the single finger hook, I hope your going to continue to carry them...I will continue to look forward to purchasing it again...There just unique to Hydro Flask & more comfortable to hold & drink from...Thank you for listening

Over the years I've had/purchased every new flex straw Hydro Flask has made. Every new one gets better, but still not quite 5-stars. They need to create one that the straw stays more firmly connected inside, then they'd get a 5-star rating.

Does work well with the new 40oz lightweight trail series. Straw is too short.

Lost a star for not being the standard choice option when purchasing a regular wide mouth bottle.

The first one I received was defective but customer service responded to my email quickly and shipped me a replacement. My daughter and I both love our water bottles. We also like that the new lids have a handle rather than the little finger grip that was awkward to carry.

I love the flex straw cap because it is much easier to carry than the previous cap. The straw also carried water very smoothly, you just have to make sure to push the straw all the way back, which takes some getting used to.

I am so glad I bought a new cap with straw instead of the cap with wide mouth, I am no longer spilling all over.

Not sure I like the straw as well as w/o the straw.

This cap leaks and that makes me sad, cuz when it tips, my things get wet. I had one previously and it didn't leak.

The new Hydroflask straw is so sleek and easy now, but I do find you have to open it back all the way to get a sip of water. This isn't a huge deal, just annoying when you are super thirsty.

Bought this lid and straws. Great find. Would be better if there was a guide on where to cut the straws for different size hydro flasks.

My only issue is that I like to use it without the straw, but due to the vent, it makes it difficult to get a good chug of water without lots of air. Otherwise it's fantastic!

It adds too much weight especially to the lightweight bottles making top heavy and more prone to tipping. I do appreciate them trying to make it easier to clean. In my case I'm not sure the insulation is worth extra weight.

I've been a big fan of Hydro Flask for a long time! My one issue was that I had to remove the cap every time I wanted to drink something - not anymore! You have to make sure the mouthpiece is tilted all the way to the side when you drink, otherwise you'll have difficulty getting liquids up the straw. This comes with two straws that you have to cut yourself, which I found slightly annoying, but it isn't too big of a deal. I would have preferred if the straws had already been cut to the appropriate size. Overall, I love this product.

My cap doesn't function properly unless the straw is tilted all the way over, but it doesn't latch, so it seems to move and I get those annoying sucking sounds and insufficient suction to actually drink through the straw unless I hold it in place. Not ideal.

The only issue I have with this cap is When the straw is closed and placed in my tote bag, water continuously drips out around the closed straw. I am not sure why this is doing this, But it is frustrating. I would think with it being a Hydro flask brand cab that the leakage would not be.

I love how the cap looks now, but it is harder to drink out of. I actually have to suck out of the straw pretty hard to get water to come out.
