I wish it came in different colors so it could match the rest of the water bottle, but otherwise it's a great mug

I have purchased at least 6 Hydro flask bottles over several years along with purchase the flex straw cap. Overall great,although I'm caution of having the bottle rest on it's side as I never trust the cap won't leak since some have done so. At the end of the day, the flex cap makes for easy access to drink from

I really like the flexible strap, the straw that does not leak when it is snapped closed and it keeps liquids cold for a long time. However, the straw does not stay open well. The "hinge" is very loose, so when I barely touch it to my mouth, it pushes the straw out of "fully open" alignment where it does not function properly and I draw in lots of air. If the hinge locked open or had a tighter pivot mechanism like the old lids, this would not happen and I would have given five stars.

Love this straw cap! Only 4 stars tho cuz sometime water pools in the lid mouthpiece holder cavity, and I've also had it spray me in the face when I open the mouthpiece to quickly. Overall happy with the purchase though!

The top leaks a little and sometimes when I open it the top sprays water everywhere. Otherwise, it's a great product!

It's hard to drink through the straw. Maybe the hole is too small

It gave me easier access to the contents of my Hydro Flask, and it has a lot of flowage. sometimes if the hole in the cap and the hole in the mouth piece don't align the contents of my Hydro Flask seep out a little a don't go back into the hydro flask, meaning you can only drink from it if it's right side up, but that isn't a major issue.

As someone that loses grip with their hands, I miss the finger loop that was on the old lids so I didn't drop my bottle, especially my 64oz. Now I have to be super careful and usually leave it sitting on something so that I can drink it without taking a chance on dropping the bottle.

It works. But it stings that after buying an expensive bottle I have to buy a separate cap for the straw.

Love my new cup! No worries about mold buildup like the Stanley and a similar style. Beautifully engraved but wish it had a script monogram option like the Yeti and Stanley.

I found your website very confusing and offering too many different ways to find what you want. I bought a 32oz. wide mouth flask that did not have the top I wanted. I had to buy the top in a different part of the site. Then, after the two orders were on the way, I found exactly what I wanted in a different part of the site as a single order for less money. The order was delayed and I had I had to request refund of the expedited delivery fee. This was a birhtday gift for my wife and I could not take the time to cancel, return, and reorder the correct, less expensive option as it would have missed her birthday. Got what we basically wanted, she loves the product, but your website made it difficult to order and the shipping delay almost cost me missing her birthday.

Sometimes the straw will fall out

The cap is great and keeps your drink cold. I am not giving it 5 stars because liquid escapes from the cavity where the mouth piece rests in at times upon opening it. It doesn't leak when it's in my back pack but it collects liquid upon use.

Finally have a straw lid that's leakproof! Huge benefit. Some small things that kept me from giving this 5 stars - 1) The straw doesn't lock in place once open. I still prefer my old lid for that. 2) I prefer the fixed finger grip vs the handle, but that lid isn't leakproof. 3) while it is leakproof, I've had water squirt out when I open it - not ideal. But in general I don't worry about water leaking on my laptop, or in any bag - I can just toss it in.

Easy to trim straws to size. Suction was not great at first, you have to ensure spout is fully tipped backwards to allow flow. Overall a good cap

Just right for my 40oz bottle

It does the job. I've noticed a bit of leaking but nothing major.

I was so excited to see that hydro flask had redesigned their wide mouth bottle lids. I really liked the strap as opposed to the thumb loop for carrying. I also like the silicon straw insert which prevents the straw from splitting and is removable for easy cleaning. The one very annoying thing about the new design is that the mouth peice does not lock open. If the spout is angled anywhere less than fully open, all you suck is air. I find that I have to keep a finger wrapped around the mouthpiece to prevent myself from knocking it forward while drinking. I purchased four of these to replace all of the wide mouth lids for my family members and all of them are the same. The mouthpiece does lock closed and none of us have had any issues with leaking since replacing the caps.

The cap itself is wonderful but the attachments that we bought to go with it don't fit well. The website only has small or medium straps available when this particular cap needs a large one. Thankfully, it's for my son so his fingers don't have a problem but for myself, it's a little bit of a squeeze.
