I bought this a month ago having realized I'd alwasy wanted a straw for my standard sized hydroflask, but when I opened it in January it doesn't fit. I have multiple wide mouth hydroflasks, some with the older original tops and also with newer ones (they all seem to be interchangeable) but this one doesn't fit in my original 24oz hydroflask. The cap is definitely smaller than wide mouth, but is too big by 1/8 of an inch or so to actually fit so now I don't have anything to use it with. I looked at the website and can't find any mentions of why this wouldn't work given the two primary wide/standard sizes.
Unfortunate,

I had the sip style lid but it started to leak, and the bigger issue was the small, hard plastic handle. I'm a woman with small hands, and still my hands go numb carrying around a full container of water for me and my dog, so I decided to try this style. I really love softer handle on this design, and this really needs to be incorporated into the sip style design. I really disliked drinking out of the plastic straw, and it warms up the temperature of the water when drinking from it. Plus it's just an extra item to clean everyday and keep track of. So unfortunately I'm back using my leaky sip style until I buy a replacement for that. I love Hydroflask otherwise.

Whenever I put this Hydroflask and it falls or tilts on its side, it leaks a lot. today as I was at a doctor's appointment , I had my Hydroflask in a bag with a book I was reading. When I finished my appointment, I wanted to drink water and saw it was on its side with my book all soaked on the bottom end!

No. We don't like this at all. Harder to maintain and still leaks.

Loved my hydro flask products- but they haven't evolved- there are much lighter & more user friendly products out there - THAT DONT LEAK. I suddenly find my 24 Oz standard mouth flask to be cumbersome, clunky & inconvenient. Sorry

This lid squirts water every time you open it. It was hard to get water from the star unless it was positioned the exact right way. The stars didn't fit the flask so I had to cut it. Eventually I stopped using it and went to the lid that came when it

I am new to Hydro Flask and I absolutely love the bottles I have purchased. So, I thought I would dress it with this straw cap. I have drank 4 bottles of water with this cap and it leaks on my face several times with each use. I've rechecked the directions with each bottle and taken the straw off and reattached it. Nothing has helped. I would stay with the regular or metal cap.
