Very comfortable under foot. However developed wicked blister on outside of left heel after less than 9 holes. Then wore them to play 18 with a bandaid and got a blister on the inside of left heel. Right shoe seems fine. Hoping this doesn't continue as I do like the stability, grip, and underfoot comfort. If blisters continue I will have to return them.

I wanted a 2nd pair of golf shoes and decided to try the Pro SL Carbon, which had received so much positive coverage. Finding the right fit was a challenge. I have always taken a regular width, but needed wide in this golf shoe. The overall fit around the foot was then fine, but the top rim of the shoes chafed notably around both ankles. Just walking for 1-2 minutes around the house caused pain from the rubbing around both ankles. It felt like there was something wrong with the basic shoe design/construction at the ankle area -- padding too stiff and too thick. Also, the overall feel and sound of the shoe when walking reminded of 'old style' men's brogue shoes. It simply felt outdated. However, the key issue was the chafing at the ankles. I returned these and tried the Fuel BOA model (which I will keep) and will write a separate review on that model.

I wear FJ golf shoes while playing golf. Approximately 80 rounds a year and I hope these new Foot Joy shoes wear better than my previous Foot Joys. My older pair 3 yrs started to leak in addition to premature cleat wear. It's a full time job replacing cleats. Staying positive and standing by Foot Joy for now.

Wish I could keep these but the tread on the edge of my lead foot kept coming off on all 4 pairs. Overall very comfortable but should be able to withstand the daily wear.

The Shoes fit well, and the spikeless design has great traction in all conditions. The only issue with them is that they are not waterproof. i ran water over the toe of the shoe and the water ran thru the shoe and the inside was soaked.

Had the previous generation Pro/SL in an 11 Narrow. Fit like a glove. Bought this newer version with the carbon added in an 11 Narrow. Felt like a size too small.

I purchased two pairs of FJ's one spiked and one spikeless and both pairs of these shoes I bought a half size larger and extra wide. They kill my feet and are way too narrow. Footjoy used to have 4E width and a comfortable shoe but, I can hardly walk after a round of golf with these shoes. If you have wife feet skip the Footjoy FJ's.

I was expecting a more natural leather feel with these shoes. They feel quite spngey and soft. I returned them without using them and I was very impressed with both the buying and return customer service I received!

Love the ProSL Golf shoes and have had six pairs - fit great with no issues. Bought the ProSL Carbon and after wearing once got a couple blisters. Very disappointed in the fit. Not the same as the ProSL - narrower fit throughout
Hope TGW gives me a store credit if not a waste of couple hundred dollars plus

Good looks. Good stability. Seemingly good fit - I have a narrow foot and the narrow shoe fits better than previous regular width shoes. Unfortunately, I developed severe blisters the first time I wore them.

The sizing of this style of shoe is different from other FJ shoes. I ordered a 9W but it was too narrow. That is the size I always buy in FJ, but his shoe is not the same.

Golfing in these has been a pleasure, until within two weeks they appear to be letting in moisture.

Great shoes. But. I found the sole too still. My was slipping out. I only tried them in my living room though so not sure if they would have loosened up. I sent them back and got the regular soles. I got a refund in 2 days. Great company.

Scratch Golfer Review. First the positives about the shoes. Grip is great. Carbon Fiber insert is great. It is more stable and feels as though it actually does give some energy return. These are powerful shoes. Leather seems really good. Foam layer is really good and not overly soft. I want to love these shoes so bad but there are problems that make it not possible. There is simply not enough room in the toe box. You can tell before you even put them on that it is too much of a triangular shape to even match the shape of a human foot. My pinky toe is jammed up against the side and caused blistering. Just not comfortable overall. Also the cushion around the ankle that comes in the carbon model is nice, however it also caused blistering on my heels which is pretty frustrating. I will update my review if things change. These shoes have so much potential but its not a good sign when after walking 18 holes all I am thinking is how I cant wait to take these shoes off.

These shoes absolutely tore my feet up after one use. I've never gotten blisters from wearing shoes like I did from this pair. I like the style just fine and they fit OK when trying them on, but they punished my feet when wearing them on the golf course.

First off, FJ sizes are so off it's laughable. I have always worn 11.5 Wide but not FJ. These shoes are so big and wide, i ended up returning two pair, and then the heel slippage was STILL there. Oh, and they squeak as well. Safe to say, these were nor for me. Sure, they look cool, but that was about it.

I have had three pairs in the last two seasons. All three pairs within a month of purchase have separated at the sole in the football area. Have reached out several times to footjoy regarding warranty. I have never received any response.

Absolutely loved these and the Sports but the didn't last more than a couple weeks. The rubber/cleats on both left heels pulled away from both shoes.
It may be my swing but have not had any issues with any of FJ's more traditional spiked models.

I had to send them back for a refund. I ordered 4x width and they were still way too narrow. Too bad because the shoe is really good looking and has all the features I was looking for.

I hurt my left knee (right handed) playing in these all summer. The decided to put a wing on the back heel where it won't allow me to transfer my weight properly into the finish causing me to snap my knee and back out of the shot putting a ton of stress on the knee. The pro sl has been my go to for the past 3 years but I won't buy them again until they get rid of the extra heel width

I had a previous pair of Pro/SL's so I brought this pair, but the pads of my toes hurt at the end of 18 holes. I suspect they stiffened the sole of the shoe for more ground force. I am a fit 160 pound 68 year old male who always walks when I play. Unfortunately, this shoe doesn't work for me.

I purchased the shoes for a Christmas gift for my husband and then the COVID shut down, when he could finally use them, they shoes make a squeaky sound. It is loud enough for his friends to hear it.

This is my 4th pair of Pro SLs and the only one I am dissatisfied with. Biggest issue is the spike pads on the sole keep coming unglued. It has happened to 3 different sections now and I have had to glue them back on. Weird a premium shoe like this would have quality issues but I guess I must have just gotten a bad batch. Shoe itself is very nice though and worth the upgrade from the regular SL
