Have been wearing FJ's ever since I could afford them around 1975. Really like this shoe they didn't have medium width so tried a wide, unfortunately not going to work gonna have to try and return.

I've always been a fan of Footjoy shoes and I've had many over the years, my preference is for traditional looking shoes made from leather. (I hate the modern trend for all plastic shoes)
So it is disappointing to find that my new top of the range shoes have some shortcomings. Firstly, on the positive side, they look great, are well made, they are comfortable, and I'm sure will be durable. Unfortunately there are two negative aspects.
The second time I wore them was for an 18 hole round on a very wet day and both my feet got wet. I assumed at first it was faulty gortex it but turned out to be that the tongues are are not sealed to the uppers and water was entering the shoe by running down the tongue.
Also, the soles have a very dense pattern of moulded cleats in close proximity to the removable cleats, the result is that grass cuttings pack around the removable cleats and is annoyingly difficult to remove.
I have now consigned these shoes to "dry days only" and have reluctantly bought an alternative pair of shoes from different manufacturer which do not suffer from either shortcoming.

Love these shoes. But sadly lost a spike my first time using them. Lost another one a few days after that. Upsetting due to the fact replacements costed me $25. But other than that I really like mine.

These shoes provide exceptional stability and traction. You'll tear up tee boxes if you put a lot of torque through your feet because of how well they bite into the ground. I didn't experience a single slip through an entire playing season. However, they aren't great shoes if you prefer to walk. Even after 9 holes my feet would ache. Given the price I hoped to get at least two seasons out of these. Unfortunately that isn't the case. One of the soles is coming undone at the toe. The interior lining around both heels has worn away, and the leather quickly creased on both shoes.

I loved these shoes as soon as i got them on July 24. By August 20th, the bottom of the right toe was coming off. It is now about an inch and half peeled off. i will not be buying these again

These shoes look awesome and are functional, however I have a narrow heel and got bad blisters from heel slippage the first time I wore them. You cannot order standard footjoy shoes in a narrow heel so instead I've ordered some myjoys in narrow heel. However I'm stuck with these shoes as you cannot return shoes you have worn once. As a loyal footjoy customer I'm slightly disappointed by my shoe buying experience this year.

The shoes do NOT look like they are leather. I don't really like the dimpled design as the current shoes are the smooth black leather. They do fit so, that's most of it for me- well see how I play-

I have owned several pairs of FootJoys over the years and this time actually bought two pairs at once - one off the rack and one custom. The off the rack ones arrived quickly which was great - but I did not find the look or quality of the leather to be as good as the had been in the past - though I was spending the most I had ever paid. The inside of the shoe did not look as high end and the leather seems thinner and unlikely to be as long lasting as my other pairs had. The sole and spikes are fine as ever.
I'd cancel the custom ones if I could have and tried a different brand if this is the best footjoy can offer nowadays. Made in China - I didn't know they were a leather powerhouse to be charging $200 plus dollars for shoes.

My Premier Packards lasted just over a year before letting in water and I have alternative winter shoes that I also wear. I also never play in heavy rain. I will say they are very comfortable indeed though. But now are resigned to the driest of days whenever that may happen.

Shoe is aesthetically pleasing, however, the performance and durability after a year, fall short of the previous era, Icon. Shoes broke in quickly (much faster than the Icons) but after a year of golf, 40 rounds, the shoe bed feels dead, no support. I have two pairs of old BOA Icons, which I'll go back to until I can find a similar replacement. FootJoy staff suggested the Alpha Tour may be more in line with the Icon. I was told the manufacturing facility was-"re tooled". Disappointed after many years of great experience with FJ premium shoes!

Great shoes! Lots of compliments very comfortable. First couple of wears gave a few blisters on the heel, but other than that they have been great.

I've had these shoes about 4 months and I walk 18 at least once a week. The performance of the shoes are great. Extremely stable and grippy. They are also great shoes to walk in. I find they hold up really well when walking on asphalt compared to other spiked shoes. My only issue is the leather on the upper scratches easily and has already started to crack where they are worn in. I use shoe trees and clean my shoes between rounds. It's a bit disappointing since I bought these shoes thinking they would outlast less expensive options.

I bought these shoes half a size smaller than normal, and the heel still rubs and leaves blisters as they are slightly too big

Usually FJ shoes fit right out of the box. These didn't fit properly in the heels that were too loose. The shoes are attractive but just didn't fit.

The Packard is a nice shoe, well build, good quality leather...but I struggle with the fit...had ordered 11 W (my regular FJ size based on years of DryJoy Tour). Recently purchased the Wilcox model and they were lose but manageable in 11 W...the Packard as an 11 W...tight in toe box and across mid foot...can't figure it out...have now ordered the Field model, hoping I can fit the right fit.

Shoes are great except for a couple things. The look and traction are amazing. There are some fit concerns and the insole could be upgraded can't even walk 27 holes without a good amount of soreness.
Had some old Dryjoys size 11 that fit and felt great. A friend of mine won these new shoes in a 10.5W and gave them to me. They fit extremely long in comparison (minimum 1/5" longer) to the point my heel was loose. However, that wasn't the worst part, compared to the old Dryjoys the heel on these has no padding or curve to it at all for comfort could make you bleed if not paying attention. Not sure who approved this heel design after wear testing them but they should be under scrutiny.
Might have to try a different style (FJ Originals or FJ Traditions) or another company (G4)
