Dont' buy these boots from North Face. i had a pair - the rubber cracked. I understood there was a life time warranty - that doesn't exist anymore. there is only a one year warranty. before you buy these, just google and see how many people have experienced that same cracking. BUY from a company that will stand behind their workmanship and materials.

I wore the product very sparingly. Initially only to Green Bay Packers games or ski trips to Colorado. Last year I wore a little more often when shoveling my driveway. That is until they cracked at my last packer games. I was disappointed to hear shoes are not covered under warranty.

Bought these boots in 2024. I live in Toronto and the winters could be unpredictable. I rarely wore them for the first winter. Maybe I wore them twice. There were issues with the laces catching on the fasteners. Fast forward to 2025, our winter is cold and snowy, so I'm wearing the boots. Again, the laces are catching on the fasteners I fall and injured myself. I call and go through the warranty process. They tell me based on my pictures, yes the fasteners are faulty. They're going to check my warranty. Turns out I don't have a warranty and they're gonna give me 20% off new boots. The boots are over $200 based on what I told him I at least expected to get a replacement pair of boots but that's how it works with these big companies. It doesn't matter if you fall and injure yourself due to faulty fasteners, they're still going to placate you by giving you just the bare minimum. I repaired the fasteners myself and have been wearing them, HOWEVER, they don't keep your feet warm! Even in minus 10 my feet are still cold. And water is seeping through and my feet have been wet. STAY AWAY FROM NORTH FACE BOOTS!!!

Bought these boots three winters ago and only use them for shoveling snow. This winter the entire bottom of the boot cracked and came off.

Have had several North Face products over the years and though expensive, they always were top quality. In this case, I bought a lace up pair of these boots for myself in Michigan and a few years later a slip-on pair for my Dad in Illinois. Both pairs were only worn for snow shoveling or snow blowing in the winter...maybe a dozen times per year? Evidence provided by the limited wear shown on the soles. Both pairs stored in our cool basements out of season, out of the sun...and both pairs similarly had their lowers crack and fall apart on their own. One spring when put away for the season they are fine...next fall they are cracked and falling apart. Both pairs were bought from a national outdoors retailer who used to provide excellent customer service where if you were ever unhappy with a product regardless of age, you could return it for a refund...not anymore. They had me contact North Face directly. I filled out the required paperwork, paid over $25 to send them to North Face, and they returned them with no admission that they had a manufacturing or material issue. Lowers on all varieties of the current boots seem to be identical to the older ones I have...and a replacement pair I bought. Judge for yourself based on the pictures and above if these boots and the company are where you want to spend your hard-earned money...and if you want to risk having your boots blow out on an excursion.

I received these boots as a gift. The first day I wore them the sole started to crack and separate from the liner. I hadn't even worn them for more than 1 hour. The quality of this product is even worse than poor, it is pure garbage.

I bought these boots last winter, and by the end of the season, the interior started getting slightly wet. This year, they're soaking wet after just 10 minutes walk in the snow, despite minimal use since I'm not very active outdoors in winter. While my older North Face jackets, bought several years ago, are still in great condition, everything I've purchased from them recently has been disappointing.

I wish I could give these 0 stars. North Face customer service is a joke. I've reached out several times with no response from them. Only had this pair a year and a half and they cracked today, the coldest day of the year so far (-15*) when you really need them. The last pair I had did last about 10 years before they cracked (both on the same day!). There is a reason they only give a year warranty on footwear. I have had it with The North Face products. They make garbage now. Back in the early 2000's it was good stuff, but now?!? I'm disappointed in you The North Face. After the thousands of dollars I've spent on your products. Never again. Company should be renamed "Products Gone South Face".

Ugh... I wish I could find my receipt for these. Hardly worn and the rubber split below the laces. Very comfortable if you only want these for a few months!

I've only had a few years and they dry out and fall apart, North Face replaced my first pair but it happened again. I've barely worn them. Great and warm only when brand new.

Bought these boots a few years ago and never really wore them, so they sat in my closet. This season we got some snow so I put on and the rubber just split and fell apart. Contacted support and obviously they only give 1 year warranty so I bought boots to throw away. Thanks northface

Comfortable but absolute trash Qualoty and the company does NOT stand behind their product. All NorthFace products carry a lifetime warranty EXCEPT footwear. Clear to see why - they know they use inferior materials.

came here looking 2 see if my boot was under warranty. WHY? Because the rubber cracked and split like everyone else on here. The boots were used maybe 10 times in a low stress environment aka office.

I don't have a picture but had the same full width crack in mine across the top of the rubber. Had them several years but didn't use them much due to little snow in my area and the tops rubbing my legs raw. Spent most of their life in the closet away from uv and still looked new when they cracked.

The rubber on the boots crack and split. I've had these boots for just over a year( the warranty is a year) and the company knows about this issue and will not stand behind their product. Stay away!

The loops on the back apparently are merely decorative. After using the boots for about 1 week and using the loops to help put the boots on, they both let go.

I bought these boots a while ago, but after 30 hours of use, both of them cracked on top and the front rubber splitted from the top leather cover. Other customers posted videos having the same issues.

I purchased a pair of these boots some while ago, and put them on once in snow and 3-5 sdditional times in dry weather, totaling less than 25 hours of usage. To my surprise, I noticed botb boots cracked on top and the front rubber splitted from the top leather cover. I've been a fan of The North Face brand and over 25 years have purchased many of its products (clothes, equipments, Gore-Tex jackets/pants, tents, and many accessories), and have trusted its brand, but it was really disappointing these boots didn't hold up to its standard! I contacted the warranted department, and explained the issue, but since I bought it a while ago and don't have its sale receipt, I can't file a warranty claim. The boots are like brand new!. I saw videos/ photos that other customers with the same exact issues posted. Hopefully The North Face will change its defective productions processes and materials. I wouldn't recommend this product.
