I've had a pair of original Chilkat 632207 for 10 years that finally failed this winter. They were so reliable that I tracked the model number down hoping for an exact replacement. Instead, the new Chilkat V is a mediocre replacement. Just as warm, with the same fit and traction, but the tongue bunches up, and the interior is not as soft. The seem like they will do the job, but unfortunately not as well as the original.

I ordered these boots for my birthday trip to Utah for snow tubing and tbh they were great! Until 2 hours passed and I couldn't feel my baby toe, hated that part.

These winter boots I've had a few years but they have had an easy life, the toe cracked all the way across the top. Not what I would expect from North Face

The North Face company has the BEST snow boots ever! They keep both my feet and as well as my husband's comfy and warm in our mountain community. We have had record breaking snowfall here and our feet stay nice and dry. We will always buy North Face boots.

Dont' buy these boots from North Face. i had a pair - the rubber cracked. I understood there was a life time warranty - that doesn't exist anymore. there is only a one year warranty. before you buy these, just google and see how many people have experienced that same cracking. BUY from a company that will stand behind their workmanship and materials.

Total disappointment after wearing them 4 times, one boot cracked like glass. The boots were kept in the box and away from heat. Not worth the money paid

My second pair. First one purchased over 10 years ago. Highly satisfied. Comfortable for snow activities. A bit heavy, but I wasn't looking for a lightweight option. Feet consistently stayed dry and warm.

I am using these as a rain and snow boot. They are very comfortable, look great and work great!

These are for blowing/shoveling and walking the dog. Should have thought of North Face 10 years ago. Comfortable as heck. Cradles your heel.

I purchased a pair of these boots some while ago, and put them on once in snow and 3-5 sdditional times in dry weather, totaling less than 25 hours of usage. To my surprise, I noticed botb boots cracked on top and the front rubber splitted from the top leather cover. I've been a fan of The North Face brand and over 25 years have purchased many of its products (clothes, equipments, Gore-Tex jackets/pants, tents, and many accessories), and have trusted its brand, but it was really disappointing these boots didn't hold up to its standard! I contacted the warranted department, and explained the issue, but since I bought it a while ago and don't have its sale receipt, I can't file a warranty claim. The boots are like brand new!. I saw videos/ photos that other customers with the same exact issues posted. Hopefully The North Face will change its defective productions processes and materials. I wouldn't recommend this product.

Great winter boots. The fit is true to size and they are not bulky.

I bought these for my husband. We live on a farm and he is outside all the time. He has not stopped raving over how warm these are and how comfortable. I ordered 1/2 size larger than he wears and they fit perfectly. The leather really is nice looking and we are completely happy with this purchase.
