I did not love these slippers. The right one bothered the top of my foot because the material would bunch up every time I slipped my foot in. They were comfortable enough for the the bottom of the foot, but the crisscross design on top didn't work well, at least not for me. I gave them away.

Slipper has no cushion. Seems to be only velour fabric over hard soul. Arch support is just "ok", not great.

This slipper is very stiff and the tag on the foot strap is scratchy and irritating as is the velcro. The arch did have obvious support and the fluffy fabric seemed cheap and would flatten down with about two uses. These certainly did not offer any cushion for relief from standing on wood floors as I had hoped. Sent these right back.

I found them quite uncomfortable - not the sole of the slipper but the strap. It seems to put pressure on the top if your foot - I've tried to undo and redo them up but they seem to aggravate my foot and leave a mark.

I had high hopes for these slippers...have been dealing with severe plantar fasciitis for six weeks now, and was looking for a good arch support slipper to wear around the house. For some reason, these slippers made my feet absolutely ache. They are very heavy for slippers, and feel (to me) extremely hard. I walked around the house in them for a half hour and could not wait to take them off, they were so uncomfortable. It almost seemed as if they were aggravating my heel and arch pain. Could be that they're not structured correctly for my foot (arch support in the wrong place maybe) but it was really the heavy weight that contributed the most to the discomfort. They do seem very well made though.

While this slipper has a lot of support, I found it uncomfortable to wear for even a short time. The strap also seem too far back and the label on the inside bothered my skin. Sending them back and still looking for summer house slippers.

I loved this slipper and wore it regularly. It had the great support I know from Orthaheel. Until now....the heel apparently is broken down and my heel slides to the outside to the floor - useless to me know. I wonder if there is any return or credit this company offers?

I LOVE the idea and the look of these slippers and want them so badly! BUT! There are 2 reasons why I will most-probably not be able to keep them, even though I keep trying. First, they are TOO WIDE! They need to make a narrower option and/or they need to put more Velcro so the strap can be pulled more tightly! I pull that Velcro strap ALL the way over! While there is enough Velcro on one side, there's no Velcro on the other side to meet it when it's pulled that tightly. So the strap sticks up and out and doesn't hold. AND, even like that, my foot slides forward so my toes are hanging out the front of the slipper!!! Second, there is so much SMELL and CHEMICAL OFF-GASSING!! I've had them out in my garage for over a MONTH and it's not much better. This is not only irritating to one's eyes, nose, throat, etc., it is! Very unhealthy! (Google it.) Have had this with other Orthaheels but the off-gassing stopped after airing them away for a while. This one? Just won't quit! Way too risky. I buy man-made materials specifically to avoid hurting any animals by buying leather, wool, etc. I don't have THIS problem with others. They need to improve the SAFETY of their materials.

I needed a supportive slipper I could wear indoors due to my plantar fasciitis. I found that the Velcro was not efficient enough to secure the width of my foot (narrow). My foot constantly slides side ways due to it not being secure in the slipper. I cannot tighten it enough because the Velcro will not stay secure. As for style, it's not an attractive slipper, but I did not buy it for looks.

I had to return it because I have narrow feet, and even with the Velcro closing my feet kept slipping through.

I tried Orthoheel on my sister recommendation. They did not work for me, my feet never got used to them even after a gradual break in period. Sent them to my sister who says Orthoheel has helped her feet and especially her back. They were recommended to her by her physical therapist.

I got these slippers about 4-5 months ago. I have flat feet,and plantar faciatis. At first I was pleased, but as time went on the velcro started slipping and the shoe became wider and wider. My right foot slips to the right and I have almost fallen twice. I'm very disappointed in this slipper.

FAIL. This slipper has the wonderful Orthaheel arch support but within days my feet were sliding through the strap and not providing the stability I need with bum knees. The strap did cut into the tops of my feet at first but that went away. Overall look, feel was what I wanted/needed for the warmer months but slipper does not stay on my feet.

I thought these would be soft, but they're like wooden planks wrapped in fuzz. I had to return them.

I do not wear outside shoes in the house. Since I need the arch support, I hoped these would be good summertime house shoes. They feel more narrow than other Orthoheels; perhaps because of the placement of straps. I feel the entire side ridges which hurt after being up on my feet for a while. They look cushy but are surprisingly hard. Also, the footbed faded quickly even though my feet do not sweat. I also expect them to be hotter than I want in summer. I regret buying them.

Good arch support and soft. However, the weight of the shoe is so heavy it was hurting the top of my foot as it flipped back when I walked. I was so disappointed! I am sending them back.

Found the footbed to be too hard. Would have liked some cushion.

I love Orthaheel sandals and was really looking forward to these but I returned them. They seem too furry and the straps seem awkwardly placed for the heaviness of the slipper.

I have very high arches so I thought these would be the ticket. They are cute and I liked the velcro on the top, but the arch support is just too stiff and too high. They almost made me feel like I was rolling to the outside of my foot, and I felt very out of alignment with them on. They may work for others, but for me the arches were too much. Back they go.

The slipper is not comfortable for me at all. The top straps are too high on my instep and cut into the top of my foot. I guess it is not your fault, it is my foot. I have tried to wear them for nearly two weeks now. I can only wear them for short periods of time. I was really bummed out though after paying $60 for them to find out they were made in China. Sorry but I am really sick of that. I try to only buy products made in the USA whenever possible.

I love "excellent support", when it comes in shoes like Danskos. The high arch of the Orthaheel brand, does not work for me. It's like a tennis ball in the arch, with overall comfort lacking. As for the slipper, after making multiple adjustments to the velcro closure, although snug, the straps did not feel comfortable for moving around. In general, the support is there, but the comfort is lacking.

I have now worn these slippers for the last three days, off and on of course, and find them to be hard and stiff as boards. The arch support is too much. It feels like there is a golf ball stuck in the shoe. I also have plantar fasciitis and high arches and was hoping for some relief. It's just not there for me. As it is I have worn them too much to return them. So, I am going to continue to try to "break them in". The slippers seem to be made well and like they would last some time, thus the two star rating. Hopefully the comfort will come after some wear time.

These slippers felt comfortable at first but after two weeks of wear, I noticed that my feet slips forward easily despite the fastened Velcro. The furry foot bed flattened and I can feel whatever lies underneath. I also feel an aching pain around the arch area. This is not my first pair of orthaheels. For the price, I am disappointed of its quality.

This slipper wasn't near as comfy as lead to believe. It was also very large and hard to walk in once I got them adjusted. Order a size smaller than what you need if you order these. Mine are going back.
