Theses boots are well made and slip on and off fairly easily. The only problem is the sole, it is made of hard plastic and is extremely slippery. I cannot afford to slip and fall so I will probably have to return these. ? I wish the soles were made of rubber.

I am a true Born Boots customer and am used to consistent sizing and quality, but wanted to give these a try. I couldn’t even get my foot in them. They were not what I expected as far as sizing and width. Returned them.

The boot slide right on, and I have high arches, I usually break a sweat trying to get a non zip boot on. These are very nice looking boots, my con: the distressed look that was added to the boot was a little wonky, one boot had the color removed on the from crease while the other was on the back crease. And I didn't really care for the hammered heel bents

I love Frye boots and shoes. Over the years I've owned a few. They are always made well and last a very long time. I preferred these boots over the traditional Melissa boots. The double sole is less slippery and more comfortable in my opinion. I had to order down a size, I am usually an 8 but the 7.5 fit very well. Also, I'm glad the breaking in period was quite short and painless.

I love these boots - they are high quality leather and fit well, as with most Frye boots. I will say (again, as with most Frye boots) that they definitely are stiff when they arrive, and while that is great for holding their shape, it does mean that there isn't much give in the ankle at first and they will require some breaking in. That said, they are not painful or uncomfortable in the least, which is a benefit of buying higher-quality leather.

I just love these boots. Great fit, easy pull on, no zip so a clean look. Fits just below knee, does not gape. Can be worn with jeans tucked in or with a skirt. Good quality, I can see these lasting a long time! An excellent addition to my wardrobe, worth the money.

This is my third purchase of Frye boots so I am an fan. The last pair I purchased over 15 years ago and they still look great. This time I was looking for a tall boot with a lower heel. I think they’re beautiful and comfortable and they have nice traction versus my other pair. Granted this pair I was looking to mainly wear with jeans more of a casual look. I could certainly wear a dress with them but due to the low heel I was planning on going a bit more casual. I purchased both the black and brown.

Beautiful boot! I have them in a 7.5 slate color (I’m a 7.5 in all my boots, shoes, sneakers, etc.) and have many other Frye boots, however, these seem to run large. I guess there’s a first time for everything…

although leather is very nice and style too....these are the most uncomfortable boots I have ever tried on. seriously unwearable. I have normal sized legs and I couldn't get the boots over my calves. only a woman with not a shred of muscle in her legs could get these boots on. I really think this pair is defective.

The shaft is very narrow, I could not get my foot into the boot at all. Wear an 8 1/2 medium and have never had this issue before. Maybe I got a defective pair.

Love wearing these boots! exactly what I was hoping for!
