Beautiful boots but could not fit on my calf. I have never had to order any boots wide calf except these.

Boots arrived with one of the buttons off. Called and emailed customer service and there is no option to get a simple replacement button. They also wont replace them. Offered only $24 as a credit for boots I paid $240 for! Ive heard the quality has gone down hill, clearly there is a problem. It would cost me a lot more than $24 to find four matching metal buttons (they are a prominent part of the boot) and get them replaced at a shoe repair store. How can you not offer common replacement parts to people willing to fix your shoddy product?

This is my 3rd pair of boots and have always loved them, they are strikingly beautiful. I also have a handbag that I use daily and love it. .

I have wanted a pair of Frye books and didnt ever want to spend the money. I finally gave in and Im so glad I did! Love them! The fit is true to size, they do running a little narrow, which for me is good. They smell amazing like new leather! So glad I finally caved!

The back of the boats have two panels on each leg. On the left foot, the panels are good. But, on the right foot, one of the panels is not smooth, looks like it has already been broken in to wear. Wish all panels were similar..

Frye is not the higher quality it used to be... The first boot I took out of the box was nice but then I pulled out the second one... The boot leather was absolutely horrible. It was dappled and wrinkled all over (very poor quality cut of leather) and one boot was firm and stood up and the other slumps down and isn't sturdy and is way wider!? They look like two different boots. Poor quality all around (I bought Melissa buttons 10 years ago and the quality was MUCH better). I would at this point stay away from Frye. This is the 4th time (about) that a quality control issue has happened.

I love these so much. I had a pair I wore most of the winter for 3 years,!they would of lasted longer if Id waterproofed them better. I still sold them on a thrifting website for a good amount though!

These boots are nice. Great quality and would say theyre 1/2 size big if you have a low volume foot. The slate is a dark chocolate brown.

They are a little big, hoping I can get a smaller size. But love the look.

Beautiful style, but sizing is still a bit awkward and cant seem to be fixed properly with an insert and for the amount of money the shoe costs there is no support whatsoever in the footbed. They look nice, but I think this will be my last pair of FRYEs. FRYEs tend to be all style no substance.

Got these to replace a pair I have for 8 years. Like them same quality as me first pair but after 3 months still working on stretching the calf part.

These boots were everything I was looking for. A bit rugged and little classic all at once. Love the brown/taupe color.

Bad

I received the item in poor condition. The boot leather was misshapen and worn. It appears this must have been a display item and worn down. The boot flopped over like a worn boot and leather had stains on it. I took photos and submitted for return. It's been 48 hours and no one has responded with a return shipping label. I am never buying from Frye again. My last recent pair the stitching unraveled after 1 wear, and now this boot arrived in poor condition. Their customer service is horrible. This used to be a great company with good craftsmanship and it's gone down in quality and service. Definitely getting my boots elsewhere and going to report them to consumer advocacy and better business bureau if my return isn't resolved. It's ridiculous.
