The shoes look great out of the box and I received compliments on them, however, they are easily scuffed. In fact, after about a month, they look like I've had them for a year. A good mink oil rub keeps them looking better, but they do require frequent care.

This shoe appears to be a chukka boot online, but it's actually a tall rough-styled dress shoe. It has very sleek lines, even with the unfinished style of the sole, and the appealing finish of the leather. If you watch the video you will notice Tyrell hesitates when describing the lining. The lining is very unique feeling, and you're either in or you're out. It's almost like a duck canvass in there, but feels like a synthetic. Will it keep you dry all day? I can't say. I was looking for a different shoe and only ever tried them on before returning.

These were beautiful shoes. Husband normally wears a size 14.5-W so we ordered them in 15-W. He said they felt so tight that he would've ordered a full size larger than that: 16-WW. Shoe sizes should be posted in their true metric size; post a chart showing metric-size to US-size. Shoes made in India, Vietnam, China, Brazil: none seem to truly match US sizes. So sad - had to return these.

Ordered a 10M but felt more like a 9.5. THe height was lower that the picture. I would say they are closer toa shoe than a boot. Other wise a good style.

Size 13, I love the way they look, but they are definitely not very durable or comfortable for walking long distances. I bought these shoes for going out mainly. If I had to wear them daily they'd be destroyed in a matter of two months. I've maybe worn these shoes 10 outings total and there are already rips on the sole where it is sewn in. The leather scuffs way too easily as well. Personally I am never buying this brand shoes again

I've had this show for about 30 day and their still not broken in. The first day I wore these shoes I got blisters on the back of the ankle because the heel leather wouldn't bend with my step. Mink Oil will not soften the leather either.

The most uncomfortable shoe I’ve ever worn in 50 years.

I loved the style of shoe. However, after wearing them about 6 or 7 times, one shoe (the left) became noticeably more creased that the right. Within a month (or 10 or 11 times wearing them) they looked completely different -- like 'before and after'. The left shoe was obviously defective.

I ordered wide (E) 3 times and never received wide. Every pair I received were scuffed up. Very frustrated with these purchases.

Ordered these specifically as wide width but they are very narrow.

Look great, but after 3 months, the stitching on the soles is coming undone. They are basically trash at this point. Waste of money unless you are ok with spending $80 on shoes that only last 3 months.

They came with paint on them. Not acceptable!

I liked the style or I wouldn't have purchased them; however when I opened box I noticed some of the stitching on the side was unraveling. I was immediately put off and quwstion the quality control of sender. After wearing them for several hours I wanted to take them off and throw them away. No foot support and the upper sides dug into my ankles. Nice going Steve.

Left shoe developed a squeak that I could not fix. Otherwise a nice shoe.

These are the most uncomfortable shoes I've worn in my adult life. They will rub your ankles raw. I do not recommend them.

Buyers beware. The shoes run large, not a problem as I reordered a pair half a size smaller. Zappos sent the order out fast, as always. The smaller shoes fit but one shoe was obviously used. The rear heel on the left shoe was chamfered and the toe box leather was creased. The right shoe was brand new. Strange! I had an event that next day and sucked it up keep the shoes anyway. But I am disappointed in Zappos.
