When I purchased these in June they were fantastic! Their comfort and cushion and support were great. However, after only three months of a one hour hike each day they lost all cushion and support. The fabric is close to ripping. I would expect them to last longer than that. I don’t think Zappos should have to be responsible for that. I think the manufacturer should. Very disappointed. The grip/traction is still decent and was great at the beginning.

These look like the same shoe I always wear. I've owned at least 6 pairs. But these didn't fit well, and after a week of wear, I realized I was having ingrown toenail problems on both big toes. STILL trying to get those straightened out (no pun intended). I've noticed a slight decline in the quality of the shoe over the past 4 years...design changes that weren't really helpful, like removing the "tab" from the front of the shoe. My last pair wore through at the heel much faster than previous ones, two of which I still wear for yardwork. No more Asics for me. I've gotten a couple pairs of Vionics in the last two years, and I'm going to try their sneakers.

Third pair of these sneakers which each held up well, but this pair the sole is separating from the shoe already after 4 months of wear! Also not as much support as previous pairs.

Laces made of cheap fabric, broke 3rd time I tied them!!!

My normal size in this shoe is 7. This time, left shoe was too short and really bruised my big toe! I would have returned them, but I didn't wear them for almost 4 months. (I tend to buy before I need!) Never had this happen!

Only lasted 3 months. Sole separated. Fabric top wore through. Previous ASICS lasted several years.

I have always worn a 9 1/2 in this style. they are too short in the toe area will try a 10.

Wrong in all possible ways. Toe box too narrow. Heel too wide. A lot bigger than the 8 I ordered. No support. Stiff soles. No spring in the soles. Generally disastrous.

Very disappointed. I need to replace my 3rd pair of Gel Kahana8's and thought this was a good match. Absolutely no arch support in this shoe. Will return and will try for something else.

Gave me a blister on right bunion.

I own other Asics in 8M so I figured these would fit the same. The length was almost a full size smaller than my other Asics. Odd. Unfortunately these are going back.

I’ve only had these shoes since 3/2020 and they’ve held up horribly. Very disappointed. I’ve had Asics before wonderful. Not sure why they’ve worn this bad in such a short time. Don’t buy!

Caution: the tabs that hold the shoelaces in place in the middle of the foot POPPED off easily, breaking free and making it impossible to thread the shoelace. Because there were no eyelets, once the tabs broke (mid-hike) there was no way to tie the shoes.

This shoe had so much room in the heal. On my first outing I couldn’t even run because my foot kept slipping out. There isn’t any arch support.. so my flat feet were hurting.

I liked the Gel Venture 6 a LOT, but this new version of it is awful. Really ugly for one thing, and there is so much "leather" decoration on it that it creates weird pressure points over the toe joint/bunion area, so it's painful for my wide feet. I will never understand all the decorative doodads on athletic shoes, and these have it to an extreme. They seem to have less toe room than the 6, too. Just not as comfortable as the 6, so they got sent back. I wish these shoe companies would remember that there are a lot of us "duckfooted" people who want and need performance shoes, and design them accordingly.

ASICS sizing is off; 8 too large 7 1/2 too small and much more narrow...

I don't know what has happened to Asics brand. They used to be really comfortable. I have 2 pair that I refuse to get rid of because they have holes in the toes. However, all the new ones I buy never have any cushion and are hard as a rock. It is really terrible that shoe companies continually change what is not broken.

Regretful purchase. This is the cheapest show I have ever bought on Zappos. I thought they were decent, wore them inside if I needed to exchange. Felt good at first, went outside and realized I’d spent money on garbage. They wouldn’t last three months of walking. That’s what I needed at a decent price range. Things have changed and ASICS quality has vanished. What can you do with this shoe. I’m stuck with it and now have to purchase another at some point in time. Do not buy these shoes. Waste of money and could injure your feet.

I'm 6.5 Regular....6 Wide .... this 6.5 were huge! I compared with my used one (exactly same shoe) and this one looked bulky and about 1"1/2 longer. I was surprised and disappointed because the reviews says TRUE TO SIZE. Returned.

When I bought these shoes I assumed they would be good for moderate exercise. Not jogging but walking and some strength training. Unfortunately they are the cheapest shoes I’ve ever bought for almost $50.00. At first the felt comfortable. That was wrong. I even gave them another try today. They look nice but after you wear them you realize they are a small step above a Walmart shoe. By the way, I had to buy a pair of Walmart shoes and I’d gladly wear those rather than these particular shoes. The cushion in the shoe isn’t removable so you can put a more comfortable insert. I am so irritated that I bought these cheap shoes that are unusable. I am mortified at the way these shoes are made with inferior materials. I’m now going fork out more money another pair of quality shoes. Unfortunately not everybody has more to spend on another pair of shoes. It is not Zappos’s fault for offering this shoe for purchase but hopefully they will take into consideration at the quality of which they offer. The other thing to consider is that not to long ago you could get a quality pair of tennis shoes within your budget. This tells me that I am going to be much more selective at what I buy.
