felt extremely wide for some reason.

I always buy this sneaker but this one was much smaller fit than my usual 7.5 size. I am very disappointed, gave me blisters on the tops of my toes!

The issue is my feet are changing to wider and longer after my entire adult life being a 5.5 medium width. It is not the sneakers. This sneaker was my 2nd of 3 brands I've tried that did not fit. Brands vary and this show was my 2nd of 3 three tries with different brands. I appreciate Zappos and will keep trying.

I have worn asics exclusively for the last 15 years. I’ve been wearing this pot since February. All of the sudden I can’t wear them. They chew up the back of my ankles to the point of drawing blood. I have applied blister band aids and they tear them off. I even have purchased the blister stick, nothing works.

These sneakers always feel and look too loose in the heel area. I buy a medium width because my feet are wide at the toes.

I did not like these shoes. I wore them for 2 days for dog walking and my feet are killing me. I will not but this brand again.

Feels too wide. Originally ordered 7.5 but were too small, so I ordered a size 8 and it's too wide. They hurt my feet.

These shoes are comfortable and I've enjoyed wearing them, but after only ten months of use the soles are so worn down that I will have to discard them.

Not happy! Make note Zappos, the inner soles in this shoe are NOT removable! I repeat NOT removable. They're going back.

I have purchased this brand in the past and this sneaker is the most uncomfortable sneaker I've ever owned. They run a half size small and Zappos recommended I go up a 1/2 size which was great, however, walking around my home I felt they were slightly big so I ordered my true size. A mistake they were too small. So I kept the bigger size and went on a 2 mile walk. By the time I got back the balls of my feet ached terribly and I could hardly walk in my bare feet. These shoes have no comfort at all. I love the style color and look but they are awful. Do not waste your money.

My feet slide to the front of the shoe and crunch my toes. I have bought Asics shoes for many years, and these are a very cheap version of them. The have less cushion than the shoes I've been wearing for the last 8 months. Everything about them is low quality. It's like they're knockoffs.

Garbage. What happened to you ASICS company? I've worn ASICs for years and this is a horrible shoe. It says it's a GEL shoe, but there is no support; I can feel the ground through the sole of the shoe; the cushion in the insole feels like cheap foam rubber. I have an old pair of ASICs GEL Kayano (which are, alas no longer manufactured) and those have better support and GEL than these new ones. So disappointed.

In the past I have always ordered this shoe in an 8.5, it felt too big in the heel, but not a half size too big-my big toe was in the correct place at the front of the shoe. Asics are the shoe that works best for my feet, so this is my 6th pair of this brand. In the first month they felt fine, a little loose in the heel, month 2 the fabric where you put your foot in started to fray, now month 3 the heel portion has "stretched" or what one might call it from being loose, my heel moves up and down when I walk. Really disappointed in this shoe. I'll keep trying Asics, but don't recommend this version of their shoe.

I have bought three pairs of these Asics Gel-7 shoes for my pre-teen daughter. The first pair barely got worn (estimated 4 months) before she outgtew them. The second pair (originally bought for me but were too small), she wore about twice a week since the beginning of school. I ordered another pair for her to use in gym class at school. This pink and black third pair she has worn nearly every day for five full months. Size, fit, and comfort were spot-on and thess were great shoes until they started coming apart at the seams, soles, and the material has started to shread. I've not seem a pair of shoes fall apart so terribly and fast before. I've bought Asics brand shoes for over a decade and never experienced this level of disgust in their product. The grey/ice blue pair (bought second and worn twice a week or so indoors when her class gets to have gym) has busted threads on the toe and the mesh material is ripping apart. The pink/black daily wear pair has the toes exposed because the top has completely come undone and the soles are detaching. I've never seen a pair of shoes disengage like this, and I've raised an active boy into adulthood! Parents and anyone who actually uses their tennis/running shoes should take a pass on these! If buying for the kid, know you will end up replacing them before the school year ends. Pics are provided to show extreme wear in short-term both for light wear and daily wear.

These shoes lasted about 2 hikes. My last hike which was 7 miles, the toe separated from shoe. Trying to fix it now. As you can tell from the tread... hardly used!

This shoe did not feel like a wide. I normally wear a 9.5wide and wanted extra room however the shoe was too small .

cute style but not enough support compared to the squishy feel. my orthotics did not fit.

I ordered these exactly 12 months ago, in black. I just re-ordered from my order history because I liked the fit and style I just needed a new pair. I noticed that the grey color was cheaper so I ordered it and didn’t think anything about it, or read the reviews. When I got them my feet barely fit!! I was reviewing the reviews and saw how many said that the Venture-7 was more narrow and had a smaller toe box than the Venture-6. Apparently I ordered the 6 last time. These shoes are well made and look great. I ordered a different ASICS shoe in men’s sizes to avoid this problem again.
