The fit overall is good. However the strings tied over caused more constriction over the instep when walking. Strings laced under provides more flexibility when bending the feet while walking.

Sadly these shoes are not to the level of what older generation Asics were. Just as many other shoe companies have started to do, Asics is now treating a squishy foot bed as "support". Anyone with arch considerations knows this does not support your foot especially when exercising. The styling is great but I need a lot more from an exercising shoe. Otherwise the fit was true to size. I think it is time to find a different exercising shoe brand since many of the other comments on here allude to a decrease in quality from Asics.

THese are not black/silver sneakers! The primary color is deep purple navy blue. Big disappointment not realized until I wore them outside, after throwing the box away.

While overall I like this brand, it did not feel the same or as comfortable as other makes of this shoe.

I like the shoes, they fit ok for a 10 wide supinator. Asics needs to come up with something cute or feminine. The one complaint I have is -the laces. They are like tying string. They cut into my fingers when pulling tight and I must use my nails to loosen them. Will definitely need to be replaced.

These were not as wide as I need. They were heavier than I wanted.

I ordered this style of Asics because I have a pair that I love that fits perfectly. Mine are a couple of years old. This pair, even though I ordered a wide, are tight at the wide part of my foot, significantly narrower than my old pair. They are also much heavier in weight than my previous pair. They are not comfortable to I had to return them.

great sneaker though you may want to get them a half size bigger!

I have owned dozens of pairs of ASICS running shoes over the years. These do not have removable insoles nor do the insoles have the arch support that usually is in ASICS athletic shoes. They were cushioned, but had a fairly flat insole. I could get around that with separate orthotic insoles, but the ones in the shoes were glued in and didn't come out.

Narrow in the toe box. Had to make the return because of the narrow toe box.

Loved the look and quality of shoe. However, it was not a truly wide width shoe. The toe box was smaller than expected.

I was super excited about these shoes based on the all the 4 and 5 star ratings for comfort. I used my custom orthotics to try them on, so I cannot tell you about the comfort of the insole. However, there was a significant lack of cushioning in the shoe. I felt like the ball of the foot was very thin, and I could feel every anomaly on the ground. They felt a bit tight in the toebox, as well.

If you have a truly wide foot then these shoes are not wide. With my usual blister resist socks these shoes were super tight. Unfortunate because I really liked the color.

These sneakers had so much potential. I have worn ASICS before but these seem to require much break-in time. The toes come to a point even though they are wide width so toes were very squeezed. Also, monarch support so my ankles tended to roll in. Disappointing.

They are nice looking on the outside. Not a comfortable shoe. Felt stiff. Definitely returning.

These fit fine, but really irritated my plantar fasciitis. They feel very hard and seemed to hold my feet away a word angle. I can't wear them. :(

I've had multiple pairs in this same Venture line and they fit perfectly. Now the toe box is a lot narrower and somewhat pointed, which might look a little more sleek, but doesn't work for my feet. Also, they felt a little lighter, and less supportive in the arch. I sadly returned them. Too bad. A great looking shoe and very comfortable previously.

I've been wearing different models of Asics for over a decade. I have high arches and found that the Venture 7 did not have sufficient arch support for me. I ordered my normal 7.5, medium width and found the overall feel of the shoe to be comfortable, sufficient toe room and comfortable around heels. Unfortunately, I decided to return these due to the lack of arch support.

These do not fit the same as the Gel Venture 6. They are similar but there is less arch support. You can see the difference in the insoles even. I could wear my old pair comfortably without an orthotic, but not these.

These shoes have absolutely no arch support. The non-removable foot bed liner is completely flat, but padded, so you can't add your own arch support. Confusingly, 80% of reviewers said these shoes provide arch support. This would only be the case if you have flat feet. If you have an actual arch, there is zero support.

Good shoes, just wasn’t the style I thought I’d want. Nothing wrong with them at all.

The fit seemed a bit off- I ordered my usual size but it seemed too small. The arch support was also a negative, though inserts might compensate for that problem. I ordered black/silver but you should know the actual color is blue with purple. I liked that, but it could be a problem for someone.

Asics are my go-to athletic shoe. The style was great. I do not address arch support because I put my own orthotics in the shoe. However, I found my heel slipping in this particular shoe. I tried to use the extra lace holes to add more support, but, that did not make the difference.
