I got this as a gift and wasn't sure that I'd use it. Living in the midwest, I wear boots to work in the winter and carry shoes or sneakers with me to change into for the day. This bag is perfect for this.

These make great reusable gift bags! There will be several under my Christmas tree this year!

I have had my DITTY BAG for a couple of years & keep saying that I am getting #2, today I am. I have given this so many times for gifts that I have lost count & every time that I have given this as a gift, it has been so appreciated. It is the perfect size for larger bottles, especially if you are going on a longer trip, which we often do. It is lined with plastic, so if anything spills you are covered. Do yourself a favor & purchase this, you will not be sorry!

I've bought several of these bags. I use them for old fashioned rollers and hair styling supplies, and I keep my hair products for the gym in them. They are good for just about anything you can think of. I am so glad to have found this neat little bag.

I got this bag in Cupcake pink about three years ago. It has been wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! The plastic lineing is great! I'm not sue if it's completely waterproof (never tried to fill it up with water, no need to), but I've used it several times to hold a wet suit. It's also great as a laundry bag for when you are traveling for just a few days. When I go to a outdoor market I toss this bag in my purse and use it to hold my purchases. It has been a shopping bag, a dance bag, laundry bag, hide-all, etc...and STILL looks good! Great buy. Highly recommended.

This is truly the everything bag like the description says. I originally bought this due to a friend's recommendation. I used it to carry hairspray, brushes, and a make up case for a family photoshoot we had a few weeks back and for my daughter's dance recital. I have rolled it up and kept it in the diaper bag to store dirty clothes as well as filling it wth diapers, wipes, and extra cothing and left in the car if I am just running quick errands with the kids. I can fit a soft structured baby carrier in it and it also fits the stadium blanket. LOVE THIS!

I bought one in watercolour recently and took it with me on a weekend plane trip. I used it to stash various items inside my large duffel bag, to keep them all together: medicines, razor, cables and chargers, etc. I also used it to carry my stuff out to the swimming pool at the hotel: room key card, swim goggles, sunbloque, ear plugs, bathing cap, etc. Altogether very nice and pretty!

I have several of these bags and they are great for so many uses. I have used them in my beach bag to carry sunscreen. I have packed my camera and phone in the the bag to protect them from the elements (inside a tote). I have packed damp (not wet) bathing suits and towels in them. I currently carry one in my diaper bag for dirty clothes, bibs, and burp cloths. When we get home from an outing, I can simply throw the bag in the washing machine along with the dirty laundry. Despite being washed many times, my bags still all look great. I even machine dry them most of the time. The size of this bag is great for using to seperate items in a larger tote and this bag rolls up small until it is needed. It is one of my favorite Vera purchases.

I purchased one in island blooms and it is perfect!! The inside lining keeps sand and the occasional splash of water from ruining it. Also it fits sunglasses, a towel, sunscreen any flipflops with room to spare. I highly recommend!!!

I received this as a gift for my baby shower filled with diapers, powder, and rash cream. I was so excited to have all of these items in one place that I can grab the ditty bag for a quick changing time rather then taking the whole diaper bag. Perfect for traveling with baby and mommy.

I recently purchased the ditty bag for our trips to the Y and it has worked out great! I can fit my girls small towels one large towel and all 4 of our bathing suits! I also used it on a weekend away and was able to fit one days worth of dirty clothes in for me and my 2 girls!! Love It! I am sure I will have many more uses for it this summer!

I live in South Carolina and i finally got the ditty bag in Island Blooms! I would really recommend it to you. It has a lining in the bag so if your swimsuit or towel is wet you will not ruin your bag. It is very nice big and roomy. You can take it any wear amd mothers' with children. I love this bag and i hope you enjoy it!!!!!!!

I've been buying VB products since 1990. I have to say each year they improve and offer adorable patterns and bags that become staples in my collection (Vera, Tote, XL Tote, Baby Bag, Large Backpack, Miller bag I could go on) and the Ditty is one of them. I have a few of these in different patterns and adore them! I now am a Mom to a wonderful 3 year old preschooler and the Ditty is what I pack for her day gear on a long/short/ day trip when we use a stroller since we don't need to use the baby bag anymore. I keep the baby bag in my car for extra supplies because it's just too hard to let it go I also just keep it in my car when we are out and about. I fit in all the things she will need for the day and put this bag right under the basket of our City Mini stroller and I use the VB lunch tote for her water and snacks on a Mommy Clip. We have the Folkloric and absolutely LOVE the pattern for a little girl. We get compliments galore. What I like is that it's so easy for me to just grab the bag and go! Yes the lining is not very thick but the material on the outside is smooth, roomy and easy for me to just grab it when we need supplies. I use the others for the beach to transport wet bathing suits, water shoes etc. Just a great bag for on the go, lunch, beach you name it. Recommend!

This is perfect for the Gym, to put sweaty socks and clothes in, and still stays stylish! I have this in English Meadow and it never ceases to amaze me. Perfect in every way!

I originally bought the Ditty Bag to toss into my new Weekender bag, thinking it would be good for laundry. It will be; but not it's not a laundry bag for larger items--it'd be good for delicates. It's not a quilted bag, but the fabric is soft & smooth & the inside is plastic lined. I expect to use this for packing/carrying shoes (great for sneakers), delicate clothing items, hairbrushes (I never know where to pack these when I travel!), bathing suits/flip flops/cover up, etc. I like the drawstring closure, it's nice & secure. I chose the Very Berry Paisley print & love it; it's pretty, varying shades of pink, purple, green, white & chocolate are lovely. This is a nice multi-use bag & I recommend for anyone looking for a versatile travel companion.

When I purchased my first Ditty bag I read many many reviews, but I hadn't actually taken note of its dimensions. I had supposed it would be the size of ones fist or two fists at the most. When I received it and discovered for the first time the actual size of this super bag, my eyes were as wide as my mouth! It was easily four or five times larger than I had imagined. I LOVE this bag. The plastic lining is quite thin, but so is the fabric. It is not quilted, which would make the bag so much more sturdy and durable, but I still love it. It has a slinky, thin feel to it that is very easily crumpled up to fit just anywhere. The drawstring handle is thinner as well, but is incredibly strong and efficient. I grabbed this bag on our outings for the entire day the first day I got it. I was so excited to have also gotten the hard sunglasses case, and new I would need to use it in this easily squishable bag. I threw in my Carry-it-All wallet with phone, a stack of pads for that time of month, large sunglass case, snacks for the kids later, big stack of Kleenex, lotion, hooked it on my shoulder, and took off. The bag was only half full! It was light and breezy and hardly could feel it on my shoulder. I was so impressed and literally giddy at its size. I'm not a huge fan of drawstring bags, but this one is perfect. As we shopped from place to place, I was able to fit in three 16oz bottles of syrup, two small Lego packs, two dishtowels, my daughter's All-in-One wallet, 5x7 notebook, and my husband's wallet, and there still was room. Before we got home, I was able to change clothes and on top of all that threw in my knee length shorts and shirt! The bag closed easily and there still was a couple of inches of room left on top! I've been the biggest fan since. I plan to use it as a dirty-laundry bag in the suitcase/small duffel on return trips, and for extra shoes going. I've thought of using it for wet items, but with the tip from other reviews I'll probably put wet things in plastic bag first. Keeping anything 'spillable' in it seems ideal, but haven't tried that yet. On one trip I loaded it with 14 various sized bottles of vitamins and emergency care items: wraps, bandages, creams, tweezers, etc., (that I placed inside the Medium Cosmetic bag for ease of finding quickly). It squished and moved to fit inside my tote most perfectly. I am so impressed with the size the most, but it's functionality. I do tend to be 'careful' with it since it feels so thin and a tad more fragile than other Vera bags I own. So far the drawstring handle is doing a great work!

I recently purchased the Ditty Bag and I LOVE IT! I play volleyball for my school and it is perfect to use for my clothes, socks, hairbrush, perfume, etc. It holds a lot and is definitely worth the money.

I took my ditty bag to a pool party and it was perfect. It held a large towel, my swimsuit, extra clothes and a gift. Everything fit great and I got a lot of compliments on it (I have watercolor). After we got out of the pool, my damp towel was perfectly fine in my ditty bag because of the vinyl liner. It works great for all sorts of things and truly is the everything bag! I plan on using it as a bag to carry my gym clothes back and forth from school in the following year. Great all-purpose bag!

My Ditty Bag in Safari Sunset is so versatile! It makes a great purse, knitting bag, lunchbox, or dance tote. You would be surprise to see how big it is. I think every girl should have one. I love my Ditty Bag! Thanks again Vera Bradley!!!!!

I got the Ditty Bag in Poppy Fields as a gift from my girlfriend. I LOVE IT! The lining is just perfect. I'm going to college so I foresee it as being the perfect toiletries bag. It's big enough for all of my make-up, a curling iron, a straightener, and my blow dryer. Plus some extra perfumes and whatnot. Weekend trips and over nights will be no problem with this bag. Can't wait!

I love this bag so much! I got it as a gift and it is perfect! I use for when I go to the pool and the beach to carry my swimsuit. It has a nice inside to protect your items from getting wet and for not getting anything else wet when your suit is in it. I also use it for a reguualr old tote and purse!!! Its perfect for flights to carry on your lap so you have everything you need! Also its small enough so it doesnt cause a lot of problems. The drawstring is so perfect too. Love it!!!

I bought this bag to use for my p.e. clothes (i'm a sophomore in high school). It worked great for taking the clothes in and out of my locker to wash at home while still looking stylish. Now in the summer, i use the bag to hold my swim suits when i go to the beach or the pool. The waterproof lining on the inside is awesome and the bag is washable. Perfect bag for tons of situations!

I like to keep my knitting projects-in-progress in their own bags. This Ditty Bag is the perfect size for a few skiens of yarn, needles, and all the extras. Love it.

The Ditty is the perfect bag for those misc items you have. I've fit my entire gym clothes and shoes in there, bathing suit with towel and water bottle, and so many other great things. One great use is as a camera bag while on vacation; I can trust that my DSLR won't get dirty, and can keep my other camera accessories right there too. I wish the bottom was a little more sturdy and less floppy, but this bag is fantastic for those odds and ends on a trip out.
