The material seems not as good as it shows from the pictures. I was thinking to return the blue weekender.

Bought for my wife for Mother's Day as a carry on bag. Due to the size/amount that fits in the bag, the nylon shoulder strap needs a pad for it. When she came home from her weekend trip her shoulder was rubbed raw from the nylon strap. I marked quality as a 3 because of this, but it is a very nice bag, just needs a more functional strap.

I bought this bag because it has a sewn-in sleeve at the back. I planned to secure it to my Travelpro suitcase and pull them together, one-handed. The sleeve is narrower than the Travelpro extension handle and now I am stuck with just another tote bag. It would be nice if there were brass feet at the bottom to keep the quilting off the floor, at least a little, since we can't always find a bench. Also, an interior laptop sleeve on the inside wall would be more helpful than the short, open pockets. Quality: The bottom is stiffened with plain old cardboard which has a dollar-store appearance, and would get wet easily. Appearance: nice, and will probably look good after more use.

This is my 4th Vera Bradley microfiber bag, my first official non suitcase carryon. Love my other bags. Wanted something for international travel to place under the seat. The weekender is nice if you dont weigh it down with laptop, tablet, wallet, change of underwear and shirt, headphones and medicine bag. It is awkward to carry around the airport in that it can get heavy and the outside pockets dont really have enough room or easy access for passport and wallet. And if you are sitting aisle seat, it wont fit under sit in front of you. So if you just need a weekend bag to keep in overhead bind without carrying alot of personal electronics, this is a nice bag. For international business travel, I will have to carry my business tote and a small second bag.

I have an older version of this weekender, which has the trolley sleeve but it extends the entire back of the bag with no stitching to keep it secure on the rolling luggage handle. Therefore anytime I use the trolley sleeve and try to roll my suitcase the weekender swings around and ends up dragging on the floor and making it impossible to roll my luggage. THIS version I see fixes that problem, by adding the stitching to securely fit on the luggage handle. I had to have someone sew mine to fix the problem because despite that major flaw on the older version, it's a perfect bag for traveling. It's my carry on when flying and it can hold so much !

I have the old weekender but thought I would get a new one specifically for the trolley sleeve. Unfortunately, I have tried it with my Lipeault bag and all my Bric's bags, and the trolley sleeve does NOT fit over the handles of any of these pieces. The salesclerk told me the sleeve was made to fit over the the handles of the Vera luggage. I think it is shortsighted of the designers to not make the sleeve large enough for most handles. The 2 rear pockets are so small and fairly useless anyway, so the trolley sleeve could be larger without compromising other functions. The bag is pretty and otherwise well made, so I may keep it anyway. But I am definitely disappointed.

The depth was too narrow for what I needed it for.I wish they had the pattern in the Grand weekender travel bag.Which I ended up getting in a different pattern.

Given to mt graddaughteras a gift she wanted. Added 2 more bags. She was elated, but how she really feels after time using them I don't know.

I had gotten tired of the pattern on my old weekender and wanted the black version of it. When I compare the bags side-by-side my old weekender is significantly larger and seems to have more capacity. The old one was perfect for a personal bag on spirit. I don't know if I will keep this because I need as much room as possible when I can only use a personal bag. I just wanted the more adult version in black. More than likely will be returning. I might try the medium travel duffel because the measurements seem to be more with what the old weekender was.

I have an older weekender. The quality of the new one isn't at all the same high quality of the older one. It has been returnedwaiting on refund.

From the way, the bag was advertised on the today show it seemed like it would have more of a structure, but once you start putting your things in it, it just becomes a laundry bag and loses its shape, which makes it almost impossible to stay on your shoulder.

It does not look like the picture there is not one matchup of the patter it looks messy

Bag much too small to be a weekender. Overpriced.

The monogram is HUGE compared with what the photo indicated when ordering. Looks quite tacky.

Miss the tough fabrics from my previous weekend as it was sturdier and water repellant. The stitching came out on my last one so I replaced with this one and I am disappointed.

To be honest the pattern didn't look at all like it appeared online. I didn't like it at all and returned all the items for a different pattern. I recommend you try to make the image is more clear so that people aren't surprised by what they receive. I am a new customer.

My concern at this time is the nylon type material that has been used to line the overnight bags with and the netting as pockets. The original bags have a better quality material lining as well as the pockets. The price is the same. As these are Christmas gifts they have not been used. One Daughter-in-law to be travels with her work frequently including plane trips and I wanted to add this bag to freshen her luggage.

After purchasing VB products from almost the beginning, I have to report that probably no more. ''The quality has certainly deteriorated in the past few years, to wit: No longer the plastic bottom liner to stabilize products - flimsy when perched on floor or table, et.al. Inner individual pockets no longer quilted, but single-layer common chintzy material. Fall forward when filled with ANYTHING substantial. Certainly not conducive to carrying anything important for fear of falling out. About the ONLY thing I can say is that at least the zippers are still of an industrial strength. Luckily I have saved all my bags of old because I won't be buying anymore in the near future, and would not recommend VB to anyone. SORRY!

I purchased this item and others as a gift for my daughter. It went on sale a few days later and when I called to ask if they honor the sale price for me I was told that they would not.. I would have returned the item and reordered it at the sale price, but I had it monogrammed so it wasn't an option.For such a large company I really expected their customer service to be much better. As a result, I will not do business with them again.

I am fairley new to the brand and was happy to discover it. I have many peices in water bouquet pattern and love the psttern. I also went on line and found a older retired patten i liked. I now have quite a few pieces in thst one i was able to find. Let me tell you my disapointment in the decline in quality! I will NOT be buying any new current patterns anymore. I will stick to the old retired ones as long as I am able to find them. Then search for a better quality brand. With increased priceing and declined quality i say no thank you to vera bradley. I sure hope they pay attention to these kinds of reviews. I really want to love the brand but after my discovery of how much they have cheapened the pruduct line its really not for me. Howerver i love the current patterns.
