The lavender petal color is a lot darker/ more saturated in person. Even still, I can see it getting dirty very fast. When I used the shoulder strap, the bag folded together in the middle. It doesn't have any structure to it. Ended up returning for something more durable!

The color is nothing like I expected. It looked as if it wild March my luggage in the as, but the color is way off. Too pinkish. The size is great. Just wish I had ordered another color

Raspberry radiance n maroon r they the same color? The bag itself is very nice ! I was a little disappointed when I received a maroon instead of Raspberry radiance

I've had the older model of this bag for approximately 6 years. It was a lot sturdier inside & out. I'm kind of dissapointed.

Returned it as will not fit under seat on airline. Liked the look.

Very nice just wish they weren't so expensive. Holds just about everything bigger than I thought it was gonna be.

I ordered the SEA LIFE pattern for my youngest daughter and while she likes it, I am left dissapointed. the quality is not what it was. the mesh pockets will not last. it is pretty but my other daughters older version is better.

It is a beautiful bag. I haven't used it yet but plan a trip in May to use it.

Disappointed. Floppy. Doesn’t stand up.

This is my 3rd VB Weekender and it is definitely smaller than my other two. It is not as wide. I used my bag to go on a girls beach trip and I was so disappointed at how little actually fit in it. Very disappointing.

I returned this item because the interior was too dark for me. I liked the outside pattern and hoped the interior was light enough for my liking. But the interior turned out to be darker than it appeared to me in the photos. I want a bag with an interior pattern that is not so dark or busy that it makes finding things in the bag difficult, particularly in low light. I would not recommend this pattern to a friend, however I would recommend this style of bag, just in a different pattern with a lighter interior.

So the bags is fine as a duffle. Not much more. The slot to fit over another suitcase is far too narrow. The front pocket too shallow. Side pocket too small Bottom line a grocery bag is about as useful

The metal Circle on the side where the strap attaches constantly comes apart

If you don't fill it up so much then it's great but I filled it up so it was so heavy to carry. Wish I would have bought one with wheels.

I love the Weekender. I own a few of them. I was excited about the new Iconic design. I loved the idea of the tech pockets for charging your phone. That's where it ends. Whoever came up with the grommet hole design blew it. The grommet opening is barely big enough to put the end of your charging cord through ONLY IF, you use a micro ended cord. Those of us who have to use different ended cords are out of luck. The hole is too small. The grommet opening should have been designed to be big enough to put the USB end of the charging cord through. That way it pretty much covers everyone's needs. Can't believe VB missed something so simple.

I bought this Weekender to replace one I've had for many years that I loved. I was disappointed that the lining of the new one is not the same fabric as the outside. They used some kind of thin parachute looking fabric. Hopefully it will hold up but I would say that was not a wise choice of Vera Bradley's part.

I purchased this bag to replace a worn bag which had the same name. The first bag was perfect and I used it about 45 weekends each year for many years. After time, the bottom corners began to fray which did not surprise me. When the new bag arrived, I immediately noticed that although the length and height were the same, the width was noticeably narrower. Last weekend, I packed the bag with the contents of the previous bag. Nope. Not happening. So I had to take a second smaller tote for my sweater and shoes. Ugghh

Unlike other VB products, this one is not made from the VB fabric I have come to appreciate and enjoy. At least advertising should address this fact when advertised

I have never been a huge Vera Bradley person mostly because of the floral patterns which are just not my style. However, my teenage daughters like the brand and so I have found myself buying certain pieces when I find a good clearance or sale item. What I have come to appreciate is how functional and well made the products are and that has driven my purchases. I am a very frequent business traveler and am always looking for the 'perfect carry-on' that will house my purse, laptop case, a large scarf and some small essentials (snack, umbrella, brush, hair spray, etc.). I want something that can fit under the seat in front of me on the airplane, too. A couple of years ago I ran across a clearance pattern in the weekender and picked it up thinking it might be the perfect bag for my carry-on requirements. I quickly found it was great for my needs. The Weekender suited me well with ample pockets (six) plus a large zipper pocket internally and an easy access external pocket for slipping in a quick item. It fit under the airplane seat easily. I paired it with the Vera Bradley cross body purse that could be stowed in the bag with my lap top so I would have no issues with the 'two carry-on limit' when I do not check my suitcase. It worked well enough for me that I decided to ask for the Black Weekender bag and larger triple zip cross body for Christmas. The Classic Black pattern never goes on sale but the functionality of the bag was so good that I didn't care if my husband had to pay full price. Unfortunately, in packing my bag for my first business trip, I was so disappointed in what must be the newest style for the Weekender. Instead of six nice sized pockets internally there are now only five. And of those five pockets, two are rather small. Additionally, there is NO internal zip pocket to keep anything secure or private inside the bag. On the outside of the bag there is one very large zip pocket but it's almost too large to hold anything in an organized fashion. In my opinion, it could use a couple of pockets inside of it to organize small items or toiletries. I also liked the way my other bag opened on the top which was almost in a wide 'circle' opening versus the more briefcase type opening of this bag. I'll keep the bag and make it work even though I am losing some of the features of the old bag that I liked in order to gain the style (pattern) that I really appreciate more.

The style and craftsmanship are excellent. However the main reason I purchased it was so I could slide it over the handle of my carry on. The opening is not big enough so I cannot use it as intended.

Love the pockets and the bag is very spacious, but I was very disappointed in the trolley sleeve. It is simply not wide enough. Great idea, but poorly executed! The bag is difficult to manage when packed full, and I was counting on it resting on my small wheeled suitcase handle. Makes traveling with it much more difficult. No reason why VB couldn't have gotten this right!

While this is a good bag, it is way bigger than I wanted for a weekender bag. It more like a week bag. Would have liked more inside pockets and either zippered or snap pockets also.
