These are the best version of a normal to travel style pant. These are heavier than the Evolution and thus lend better to daily work wear. However they are a bit stiffer as well. I am hoping they break down a bit after a couple washes. The cut is not too slim or baggy. I love the thighs but think the cut could narrow a little more. If these break in a little and they are going to be fantastic

I own three pairs. I love them. I just have a slight complaint: the rivets lose their paint after two or three washes and the copper metal shows through. First, on the back pockets, and then a few washes later, the side pocket rivets also lose the black paint. Not a big deal but it would be cool if they stayed black. Also, maybe it's just my build but the 30" waist is too small for me and the 32" waist is too big for me. I would love to see a slim version of these in the future! Great material, and it hasn't faded after over a years worth of washing.

I really like these pants. Very comfortable. The only downfall is all of the loose threads on the seams and stitching.

Typically use 31s, had tried 32s, but too loose, 30s are a bit tight, but rather that than loose. Would give it 5 stars if they had half sizes for a perfect fit.

Very comfortable and stylish pants. They are great in the rain and the stain proofing.

Expectation met, it is comfy to wear I love it! Just the size most of my pants are size 32, so I got the same size and it feels a little loose wondering if I should order one size down on my next order.

The sizing appears similar, maybe a bit more loose in the same size, but it's difficult to tell as the thicker/tougher fabric does not drape as well as the higher cost pant. I don't think I'll get another pair. And it seems at this price, you should be able to get an inseam that works rather than having to go to the tailor.

I bought one pair of the AT Slims and two of the Evolutions, and the pants are comfy, light, and indeed water/stain resistant as promised. The main reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the AT Slims and one of the Evolution pants have frayed hems at the bottom seams around the ankles. They don't seem to be making the entire seam come loose, but they make them look more raggedy/worn than they are, and I'm slightly worried about them getting caught on something (especially as I plan to go hiking with these, and random thorny bushes will undoubtedly be a thing). Other than that though, I'm hoping these pants hold up for as long as promised! Also, side note: they're not quite as soft as other pants I'm used to. Probably a necessary feature of having pants that are more durable, but still something to keep in mind if silky smooth is what you're hoping for/expecting.

Pants are niceand were expected from reading most of the reviews. Material is great and it seems quality of construction is well executed as well.
However after ordering a size that ended up being a bit small (32) I ordered a (34) and though they fit ok I wish they were a bit slimmer. Im 6'1" 200 lbs atheletic build the slimness of the size 32 in the legs were good but the waist and butt a bit tight. The 34 fit well in the waist and butt but the legs arw a bit wider and don give the "slim" look I was hoping.
Im certain atter trying both a 33 would be perfect....

Bought two pairs of AT Slim Pants (32 inch waist) and thought there were just a bit too big for me. Ordered pairs of 30's and found them too small, and decided to keep the 32s. I also ordered a pair of 30 inch evolution pants that fit pretty well & I'm not sure why the evolutions fit differently than the AT's but they do. That said, I took these to Japan for 2 weeks and had a great experience. I hiked a 6000 ft volcano in them, got them muddy, went to dinners in them:washed them a few times. They did really well. The coin pocket is too large & coins in the pocket are really difficult to get out.

SO far I really like the pants, but as someone notoriously between a 34 and 32, I wish there was a 33 waist option.

The pants are super comfy and stylish. My only complaint is that they can be longer. Luckily I was able to get the hem extended to 34 in. But it would be much better if they had something 34 in long to begin with with an extendable inseam for us talk guys.

They perform as advertised. I wish there was a little tighter fit thru the hips given that they stretch.

First off I'm 6'1" and about 175lbs with an "athletic" build. The pants are comfortable, look good and have nice features. With that being said, they could stand to be slightly slimmer through the hip area. Unfortunately there are no odd sizes so after trying the 30's and 32's I went with the 32's. Slightly too big in the waist but the 30's were way too tight. As for the length I had them let out to the 34" length. I probably won't get another pair unless a 31" waist becomes available. Also, give them some break in time. They definitely loosen up.

I am overall happy with the AT Slim Pant. They are very versatile as you can dress them up or down, are more comfortable than typical khakis, you can wear them for days, and they look like normal pants (I bought the charcoal ones).
However, for the price I paid, I am disappointed about the media pocket stretching out and staying stretched out after 3-4 wears, and after washing them. I do own an iPhone 8 Plus, which fits perfectly inside, and do not know if the same would have happened with an iPhone 8, but again, these are expensive pants. If a jean company made the same kind of media pocket with spandex material, it wouldn't stay stretched out.
They are a little long for me. I bought the 28 which has a 32-34 inseam (I'm 5-6), and will need to eventually get them hemmed. I just roll them up for now, which works.
As far as the water repellent treatment, I recently wore them out in the rain, and they were great keeping me dry then drying fast once I was inside.
Just make your media pocket better, carry these with a 30 inseam, and these will be the perfect pants!

I'm a traveling Photographer/Videographer and bought these right before taking a business trip out of state. As far as functionality, they worked perfectly. They're very comfortable and stretchy, repel liquids and stains, and didn't smell after multiple all-day wears while sweating. The only thing I didn't like about these pants was the lack of length options. The waist (30) fits perfectly but they are WAY too long for my height. Rolling them up temporarily solved the problem but I will have to get them hemmed for further use. It's a little strange considering other pants in their product line have length options (e.g. the Evolution Pant). Overall, their functionality, comfort, and good looks are worth their large price tag if the length fits you correctly.

I love the material! At first it feels rough but it does soften up and it is very water resistant! I do wish there could be more room around the crotch area. Compared to the Evolution pants it is more snugged. However, a very good pair of pants overall. Hope it can get more colour options in the future.

I've had them for a little over a week now. I was worried they would be too slim (sometimes slim is basically skinny), but they're great. The material is comfortable, and feels very durable, but stretchier than other pants I've owned. The only drawbacks I have found are that the inseam length was way too long for me, and the price is pretty steep.

I really like the construction and quality of the AT slim pant. The fabric is amazing and I love the updates to the 5th pocket. My only gripe with the pants is, they are baggier than I thought they would be. I ended up taking them to a tailor to have the legs taken in more. Now they look great. If you offered a slimmer pant, that would be amazing!!!

This is the second pair of Western Rise pants I have bought, the last I returned. They were of a different style and with my small rear, the crotch gusset left a wad of fabric clumped in back that it looked like the pants didn't fit.
I was looking forward to trying the AT Slim Pant, as of all the great reviews.
I love the fabric, style and everything EXCEPT the extra fabric wad in the back!
These pants are made for guys with booty (mine too tiny).
I wish I could return them but I wore them to a friend's house to get her opinion, so they are worn.
I'm looking forward to trying their other products, butt I'll skip the bottoms.

Probably not the best pant I have ever worn, but I believe they are very good. I am not in love with them, but I like them enough to keep them. I have slightly large thighs, but I like my clothes to have a tailored fit. These pants give me just enough room so as to not look like tights, and not look baggy either. Now, if only Western Rise could do something about their inventory. It is difficult to buy more from them because everything in my size is out of stock. It may be the last pair of pants that I buy from them, but hopefully not.

Overall very happy with the product. Material isn't quite as stretchy as I was expecting. As a result, I really should have been in a size in between the two sizes, but they don't offer odd numbered sizes unfortunately. Given the lack of stretch, you'll need to go up a level rather than down.
