I use them instead of jeans and plan to get more.. comfortable.. durable.. The only thing for future buyers they show rolling them up and tight fit in some photos. I find them to be in between relaxed and slim. with the bottoms not as narrow as I thought the photos shows.

Awesome fit and feel. Used the on a 7 hour motorcycle trip and no discomfort and they breathe very well. Also got caught in the rain and they were quick drying ! Great product. Need additional colors !

I've been looking for years for pants like these. Pants that work in the office, let me get in and out of my truck, and can handle the outdoors. I just wanted one pair of pants for everything. Other pants that advertise themselves that way are either too techy, or waaaay too stiff. These are the best pants you'll ever own.

Meetings, travel, hiking, and beyond. I've loved how these pants replace multiple wardrobe items without any fear of them wearing out.

These are the ultimate pants, no matter what your travels throw at you.
Normally, I travel in sweatpants and then have a pair of jeans or slacks tucked into the corner of my bag in case I need to dress up. Within a few days, my sweatpants are dirty and I have to figure out how to wash them, as I don't want to wear anything else. THAT WAS BEFORE THESE PANTS.
Now, I just wear these. They're comfortable for long bus rides. You spill on them, and it just splashes off. Need to look classy for the evening? These pants have got you covered.
Pack these pants and forget about your jeans, slacks, or anything else. They do it all.

I stumbled onto Western Rise online and was initially intrigued yet skeptical. The clothing looked amazing but the price point and fabric were different. I gave it a shot and ordered the pants. They are cut awesome and feel terrific to wear. They do run a tad slim so I sized up. I really like everything about these pants. My only complaint is that due to the very technical and cool fabric there is a little bit of a "Sound" made when walking. Kind of like when you wear a technical shell. Not a huge deal and it doesn't affect that ya t that I really like the pants. They seem really well made and strong in places they need to be.

I find myself coming up with reasons to wear these pants. My wife wants to buy me more so I don't wear out the pair I do have but theybdon't have my size in stock. I need more of these!
Remarkable work Western Rise!

Just received my second pair of AT Slim Rivets. Ballistic nylon/canvas that has nice stretch. Fabric should wear in well. Zippered back pocket is a nice detail. Only downside for me, front pockets are a little too shallow. Other than this, a great all round pant that is designed for a day out in the mountains hiking through scrubby brush while looking great for the evening's on the town activities.

The attention and effort WesternRise puts into sourcing fabrics for their products is clear in the AT Slim Rivet Pant. Who can say no to a durable, stretchy pant with a gusseted crotch that plays equally well at work, around town and off the trail. Perfect.

The pant is a good buy. The black is really "flat" in colour but not faded either. The stretch is good, but the material isn't so smooth gliding against my thighs as I sit down. And that's really my only problem with it. The workmanship is fine and so is the length and fit. Overall, a satisfactory purchase.

I purchased these along with 3 other pairs in different colors and sizes with their pay later option. I kept the blue gray pair and I love them. Shipping and returns were super simple and overall I'd say it was an A+ customer experience.
After the first day of wearing them, I noticed some dodgy stitching on some of the seams - nothing that might compromise the integrity of the pants, but some stitches are loose, frayed, and just less polished than I would expect for a $120+ pair of pants. I didn't raise an issue because I had worn them already and probably should have inspected them better when I received the package.
Despite that one gripe, these pants are excellent! They fit just as expected, but stretched ever so slightly around the waist and butt after wearing them for a few days. However, they seemed to snap back after the first wash/dry, so they're perfect again.

I've purchased two pairs of these pants. The fit is consistent; slim, but not tight. They're well made, and seem durable as advertised. My overall impression is that of high-grade Dickies. The material is similar in feel and appearance, yet these are softer without sacrificing the impression of durability.
Still, these are too heavy for casual wear in temperatures above 80F. I've actually cut the first pair off into shorts, and they're now my favorite shorts. They're very comfortable.
I've been wearing them M-F, which includes 5 miles on a bike and 8 hours at an occasionally labor intensive job, and they move well and hold their shape without getting that blown-out look that many other shorts get after wearing once.
That said, they're not very stretchy. As shorts, I don't really notice, but it's obvious when in their intended form as pants. Bike riding was not terribly comfortable due to the lack of stretch. That's part of why I made the one pair into shorts.
Only other mild criticism is the color. I got the black and the dark blue/navy. The black is more of a very dark grey than actual black. The navy also has more of a dark grey appearance than dark blue.
If they made a dark brown color I'd buy another pair.

I contacted customer service asking if they could give me a comparison to a Levi's pair of pants in terms of fit and was told they fit close to what a 511 Levi's pair would fit. I bought a pair, since I've worn 511s before and they fit me rather well;slim but not too skinny.
Sadly, when I tried these on, they were way baggier than 511s and looked super loose on the thigh and calf. If there was a taper, any flattering aspect of it on my silhouette was lost by the excess room In these pants. I ended up returning them.
This is actually a huge bummer;aside from being very comfortable, the material felt of very high quality and the build was solid. I'm truly bummed out that these didn't fit me well, and the day WR comes up with a slimmer cut, I'm definitely coming back to try those.

The quality and service from Western Rise are top notch, and these pants feel like the can hold up against anything. They shrug off coffee and hold up well over a long weekend.
I only give it 4 stars because of the limited number of sizes. As someone over 6 ft, I'd love to see 34 in lengths in the future!

Haven't had the change to wear them much just yet but initially, very comfortable pants and allows free movement without seeming too stretchy where they would get out of shape. Feel light but durable. Only reason to not give 5 starts so far is that they only come in one size length so shorter guy like me needs to cuff or get them hemmed locally but otherwise, liking them so far.

If I had gone to AT Slim Pants straight from wearing jeans, I might feel differently. But I've been wearing mainly Prana Brion pants for several years, which have 4-way stretch, but are kind of thin for Idaho winters. I bought two pairs of AT Slim Pants to be a little warmer, and I also liked the slim fit look better. After the tedious process of taking out the inner hem for the 34" inseam, the first thing I noticed was that the material was pretty stiff and even sharp-edged on the seams. I nearly cut my fingers reaching into the pockets, which are a little tight. I was looking forward to using the phone pocket, but my old 6s Plus is too big to be comfortable in it when I bend or sit. Should be good with a smaller phone. Trusting the reviews that say that soften up over time, I've waited a few months to post a review. They are more comfortable after being worn a bit, and I've gotten more used to them, but 2-way stretch will never be as comfortable as 4-way. They're great for walking and standing, just not stretchy enough to be comfortable sitting in for long periods at work. I stand up often to pull down the legs, which ride up and get uncomfortable. Had to get used to pulling down the legs anytime after bending or crouching, but I guess that's pretty normal for slim fit pants. The calf opening is narrow enough that they always gets stuck on my calves. But overall, they are very good pants. I'm tall and slim (6'4", 185 lbs.), and they fit and look better than anything I've worn since my old 501s in college. I love the blue gray and steel colors, which go well with all my shirts, especially the WR Merino Tees I recently bought. I can dress them up or down depending on the shirt and shoes. Very versatile, durable, and good-looking pants.

The overall fit and feel of these pants are perfect. I love the fabric. My only complaint is that you have to be very careful in removing the seam to extend the length - it's very easy to cut the pant when removing the double seam. I'd do a single stitch for the 32" inseam and the double stitch for the 34" length but understand why it's the way it is.

These pants fit very well and are extremely comfortable. However, it would be great to have the option to select the length as they run a bit long.
