Older patterns had good cotton quilt lining I love this specific design, love the patterns but I wish VB would go back to the older lining which felt like good quality quilted cotton.

It's a little bigger than I though it was. In the picture it it looked smaller.

great side pockets and front zippered pocket. Perfect size for me! holds my large wallet and everything else I need without being too big.

This is a good purse that is just almost perfect. I bought this in Butterfly Flutter. It is a good improvement over the old On the Go Crossbody due to the added size. However, it still does not compare to the Plenty of Pockets Crossbody which I love for it's amazing organization but dislike the webbing used for the strap. If you would add another zip pocket on the back of the purse and increase the depth to 5 inches you will have created the perfect purse. More solid colors would also be a bonus. I have 50 plus Vera Bradley purses plus other accessories such as lanyards, cosmetic bags, and wallets.

i have been using on the go for so long. it had all the space and pockets that I was use to. now it seems it is taking an overhaul and I like on the go that use to be. the inside pockets were longer inside and I got some new colors and was surprised of the short pockets inside and was a little bit taken back by the inside. I also read that the new on the go doesn't have a flat bottom and doesn't set up by it self. when you got use to something and it all works, then it changed and sometimes that isn't good. I wish it was made like it was before, it will get some getting use to and I hope I do! why go and change a good thing?

I am beginning to wonder about the quality, professionalism, and accuracy of the VB quality control department, OR if they even have one. I think the concepts for the configurations of the pockets/compartments are useful and handy, but could it be that the manufacturing department is literally cutting corners? Are they cutting the patterns for the pockets just a little smaller so they can get a few more pieces out of the bolt of fabric? When you cannot fit a multiple credit card case holder, or any mobile phone with covers/cases into the slip pockets without ripping the side seams, then what good are the divisions of the slip pockets? For me, just leave the inside as one long slip pocket on one side, and the zippered one on the other. By eliminating the narrow useless outside side pockets, I will not have to shop VB bags anymore. Many of us have 'graduated' from the old flip phones, many of us like to carry a standard water bottle or thermos on the outside, some carry a 'credit card' size commuter pass which only fits in by slightly curving it to get it in, so none of these things fit conveniently or even at all in the side pockets. The size and concept of the bags is ok, but the finished products are disappointing because the many pockets are almost totally useless at least for my uses. I now like to shop for the crossbody bags, because while the totes have an adequate shoulder drop, the handles are not ergonomically engineered so that the 'filled' bag stays securely on the shoulder. I have Glenna and if you hand carry it, it's ok, but if you need to be hands free for a moment, the bag slips off my shoulder. To answer the next question, I would recommend this bag WITH cautions about the usefulness of the slip pockets.

I carry too much stuff. Wish it was a little bigger. Hopefully it will be washable like the old Vera purses were. Hoping there's not too much leather that will interfere in the washer.

I use this for everyday purposes. Love the colors and size of strap.

I have carried a Mandy for years! But I found myself needing a crossbody more often. I used a On the Go for a while and I loved it, but the pockets on the sides were too small for keys and phone. I ran across the Iconic On the Go thinking it might be more useful. I was very surprised!!! I just got mine in water bouquet today and already love it! Fits my Samsung S8 just fine with a popsocket in the side pocket. Holds so much more than you think. I fit 2 checkbooks, 2 turnlock wallets, a euro wallet, and a tech case in the middle and still had some room. The interior pockets were very roomy. With all of it in there it was surprisingly light weight. My only complaint is it needs a cardboard base. It need a better base. Please come out with more patterns!!! I believe this might be my new Mandy.

Love the butterflies. Have received many compliments on this purse. Only concern is the missing board on the bottom. When unzipped the purse does not keep it's shape.

Use everyday. Also like the smaller crossbody because it has section for holding drivers license and credit cards right in front. That would be nice in the purse I just purchased.

I especially love how the strap on this purse stays on my shoulder and doesn't slip.

Just too small.

I have purchased this bag for years and absolutely love it. A few years ago you switched the buckle that holds the strap to a rectangle buckle instead of a round one. The straps continue to get hung up on the small ends of the rectangle buckle which is very very annoying. As much as I love this bag, not sure I will continue purchasing it.

Somehow, I expected the side pockets to be large enough for a water bottle, and they really hold a bottle of nail polish. But otherwise, this fit the bill for all the essentials I need taking short trips to medical appts & shopping as I recover from knee surgery. I can also see myself using it for shopping, when I don't want to carry a lot. For me, it would be on the small side for daily work use. The quality and organization are fine.

Would like to see plain color on sale, right now to expensive

I have been purchasing the mailbag style bag for my wife over the past 9 years or so, and decided that perhaps it was time to offer up a different type of bag. Unfortunately, she felt she actually didn't require a different style, so this model will be making a return trip. Nice bag, just unwanted at this house.

I thought the color was lighter but I am okay with what I received.

My church is a smaller, lower income church that concentrates on community, peace and justice for immigrants. So, our Altar society puts on a PURSE BINGO once a year to supplement the church's income. I bought the purse to donate to the bingo.

I got two of these in different patterns of course because I was so impressed with the first one.

I do love this bag. It's beautiful. But the first thing I noticed is that the 2 side pockets are way to small to fit anything. I can't even fit my hand in there and I have small hands. Also there was slight fraying on the back zipper pocket, which I just snipped off. Hopefully that doesn't backfire. But as far as the main pocket goes it fits everything I need. I carry an accordion wallet and it fits just fine plus my gloves, car keys, a few cosmetics, and a pint bottle. would definitely buy again if they made the side pockets bigger and brought back the interior cloth lining.
