As far as protection against sunburn, it has performed as advertised. Several days in the Florida sun and no burns. Not bad looking, either.

I have around twenty LL Bean shirts and sweaters, they're all size L. The size L rash guard was too tight for my liking (not quite skin tight, but close), so I reordered an XL and it's just right.
So if you'd like your rash guard a little looser, I'd recommend ordering a size up.
Otherwise it's a great rash guard, nice and light weight and very cool, even in the hot sun.

Great protection from the sun. Long sleeve and light weight. Dries fast. Odd placement for thumb hole... However, hubby approves!

Bought this for my husband who was skeptical. Seem to fit fine and do what it is supposed to do. Appears comfortable when we are sailing. A light grey color would have been preferable.

Nice color, but the size M that I usually wear was a little snug and uncomfortable. The material seems thinner than other swim shirts I own. I returned it for a refund.

By "slightly fitted" they mean 2 sizes too small. My son got it on. But it was pathetically squeezy and would not have been something to wear.
They would need a 3x with their "fitted" parameters to fit a large man.

The shirt felt skimpy and overpriced. Not the usual LL Bean quality.
