I had thought these pants were a blend of natural & synthetic, & I found the nylon had an unpleasant hand. Also, I still at a loss why all these action-designed garments have such shallow pockets. Together with slick synthetic fabrics, they seem guaranteed to have things fall out of them. What good is a pocket that drains water if it also drains its contents?

Don't like the slim or almost slim fit cut, but fabric is nice

Waist runs very very small, I wear a 36 and they feel like a 30. The waist is extremely stiff as well, to the point where the pants gave my hips pain. Why would you call them a stretch paint that has no stretch in the waist?!?

I bought a pair and the rear stitching popped the second time wore them. Returned them for another pair and the stitching popped the first time I wore them. This time I'll take a refund. Too bad because I really did love fit/feel of these pants. Lack of quality or QC. I had bought another color at the same time and those have held so far. We'll see.

They don't fit like a 5 pocket should. Baggy in seat and legs. Material is ok but if you get a waist that fits, you'll hate them in the legs

I love the pants, and I love LL Bean. The main reason I tend to get LL bean clothing is the durability and the quality of the clothes. I have many jackets and pants that I've had for years and are still in top quality. Unfortunately these pants, while they're amazingly comfortable, the seems in the back stitch came out the first time being worn. And it's not a sizing issue because I love the fit to them. They're very loose, while still being fitted to my form. I understand manufacturer defects happen sometimes, and I've been meaning to reach out. But I'm not a complainer by nature. I DID take pictures with the intent of reaching out, but haven't done so.

The fit is fantastic however the stitching on the rear came loose after 2 months. I purchased the lined pair and the same thing happened. The stitching on the venture is weak

I purchased multiple pairs of these pants when they were described as Everyday Performance Pant - Item TC513196. My most recent purchase of this same paint - now called the Venture pant - was very disappointing as I believe the pants are not of the same quality. A tad thinner and tighter and they arrived quite wrinkled indicating lack of body. I immediately returned this last purchase.

I was so excited about these pants after getting one pair that I decided to get a pair in every color - that was a mistake. They all fit significantly differently! The first pair I got, blue, is significantly more fitted than all the others. The others are all varying degrees of larger by color. Brown is huge - by far the largest, and gray and green are somewhere in between, but still too chunky compared to the blue. Now I'm just torn between trying different sizes in all of them (how bizarre would that be - to have different sizes in every color?) and going somewhere else altogether. BOTTOM LINE, definitely cannot recommend these pants with such inconsistent on cut and fit, especially at the price point. Try somewhere else.

Good performance pants but somehow they were able to design the waistband to not stretch. Terrible would be so much better if they had a little give same as the pant material . Poor design LL Bean. Performance pants need to have some give everywhere. That's why people buy them . Sending back. Have purchased better designed pants for half the price.

The pockets are so shallow that there is no way you can carry a cell phone without it falling out when you sit. You may be buying new glass covers for your cell phone if you choose to put it in your pocket.

Mistakenly ordered these thinking they were a regular pair of black slacks. But they're stretchy things, maybe suitable for a ballet dancer.

What could have been a keeper and positive review is now a fail. The pants were assembled unevenly. The rear seam was well off to the side. These are supposed to be walking pants but the way they were aligned if you were to go hiking in this pair the experience would not end well. Added to that to return these pants I had to pay the shipping. Not a win.

I bought my regular size for LL Bean standard fit pants. I have several so it's not guesswork. I was stunned when trying them on as they are slim fit, not standard. They were an immediate return and I didn't even want to try a larger size. LL Bean needs to rebrand these for what they are, slim fit.
