These pants are fine. Based on the description I had assumed there would be some give in the waist band. There is not. I love the LLB stretch jeans, the flexibility, the give in the waist and the cut of the legs. These are NOT like that. The legs are a bit baggy with not a lot of taper. My wife says they are a bit frumpy. I wear them but won't be buying more.

I had high hopes because I love the fabric and the color, but the cut and the fit are off. The waist is smaller than expected, but the seat and legs are quite baggy.

my one dislike is the pockets. I would like one side cargo pocket with a zipper not the rear one with a zipper. Otherwise the pants are light weight and work in warm weather.

These are nice pants, but I found the fabric rather odd: smooth to the point of slithery. I was hoping for something more traditional, so returned it. However, if you like the fabric, the fit and finish were good.

Not fit to size. The pant waist was too tight for the size ordered even though I usually wear the size ordered.

I really like these pants: comfortable, light weight, look good. Bought mine from local LL Bean store. Size was a challenge as I need 33" inseam. First pair of 32" measured 31.5", second pair close to 32.5" so they fit better. But after wearing 5-6 times the stitching is coming out on the rear seam. At this rate they won't be wearable much longer.

Not much stretch or give in the material, so not as advertised. I probably won't purchase again.

They look and feel great but some stitches are loose in the rear after first wash. Not something easy to hide or fix. Did not expect that to happen after wearing them for a day or two.

I have two of these in the Dusty Olive and Dark Cinder. I absolutely love them. Because I love them so much I wanted to get more colors, so I tried Granite and Rangely Blue. Unfortunately, those two colors were almost completely different pants. The fabric wasn't as stretch and they were cut with more of a baggy flare by the calf which I really did not like. Dusty Olive and Dark Cinder have a nice almost slim fit and are not baggy at all, which I love. There are some serious QA and quality issues with these pants, unfortunately, and you'll have a very different experience depend on the color you get.

Comfortable pants, but the stitching seems low quality. The stitching blew out on the back pocket on the second wearing. They also seem to be pretty staticky, collecting a lot more hair than similar pants.

I enjoy LL Bean clothing but can never order pants. Please start making longer lengths. At least 36 inseam please!

I purchased three pairs of these months ago and had to return the 35's for 34's as they were far too large. Those 34's have been amazing, some stitching issues - but for the most part fantastic.
I've ordered 3 additional pairs and received them to find that despite fitting about the same in the waste - they slip right off my hind end (with a belt). My original 34's do not do this, not even close - so I'm not sure what they've changed.
I could order a smaller size but I'm not sure that will help. LL Bean customer service is fantastic but the back and forth regarding these pants is truly tiresome.

I like the fit of the stretchy material, but the fabric feels little abrasive at times.

They were wrinkled when i bought them and the material did not iron well. Washing them and putting them in the dryer was only marginally better

These are great - fabric, fit, attention to detail and design. Calves are too tight - almost seems like they are designed from the knee down with a euro-fit in mind.

I bought the same pants at the local L.L. Bean store but these fit differently and not the waist, the legs were tighter especially below the knees.
I will be returning these pants for credit .

Fit of these is very nice - trim but not too tight. Unfortunately they look and sound like I'm wearing snow pants. Not an acceptable substitute for chinos. Maybe good for hiking, but I would prefer the cresta style.

If only the left back pocket were deeper to hold a wallet more securely or, better yet, have a zipper closure like the right back pocket (being used for phone.) Wallets are not safe in the left back pocket, actually fell out when getting up from a restaurant booth. Great otherwise.

Hoping these would fit. 34" waist was too tight. The rest of the pant was looser than I like but OK. I wear 32/34 in EB pants, 3/34 in Levi, and 34/34 in Patag' but these were too tight. Nice light weight fabric, but if it does fit, it doesn't work.

Normally I wear 32" nylon hiking pants, 33" Levi jeans but these 34" pants were hard to button shut. Nice length and fabric, style similar to jeans. Too tight.

The material is good.
The low waist, pocket styling, rivets, and slim cut seem more like jeans.
It would be nice to have a similar material in a chino style pant: A more generous leg cut and more traditional slanted pockets.
These are all right for casual wear around town, but not as good as a travel pant--where something a bit more stylish would be better.

These are well cut serviceable pants that breathe well, stretch nicely and fit true to size. But they're a bit too shiny to be considered sophisticated or high-tech; the overall impression is that they're a bit on the cheap side. I'll wear them, but for myself mostly, not to go out.

I love these Venture pants - I have 5 pair. But recently the sizing is inconsistent - I've tried a few others and the waists are too tight and lengths too long.
