These are well made, quick drying, and comfortable pants that are perfect for casual ware or travel in all but cold weather. I would give them five stars, but I can't give anything five stars that has branding on the outside. Kudos, however, to LL Bean for making the branding subtle enough to be acceptably inconspicuous.

These are great pants for hiking & for hot weather activities....however, they are baggy for me: a "slim fit" would have been better.

This item fit well and seemed comfortable, but the first time I was going to wear them I found that the zip front pocket was too small to hold my cell phone. Since the convenience of carrying my cell phone in that pocket was one of the main reasons I bought the pants, I returned them. LL Bean made the return process easy. Nonetheless, if you're thinking of stowing your cell phone in the zip pocket, be advised that it may not fit.

Was looking for an alternative to jeans for warm weather. These fit the bill. Nice weight and color.

This would be 5 stars if you made a womens version with long inseam, wonderful pockets and articulated knees. I'm always buying mens clothes for length and pockets!

It would be nice if LL Bean could add a zippered security pocket for keys! It would also be nice if these pants included a belt!

I bought these Cresta hiker pants to replace my older Bean A890 cargo pants, and I like the fabric better (waterproof), fit is good and I like the availability of 29" inseam. Workmanship is very good. Pockets are nice and the rear pockets located more towards the sides are better so I don't sit on a wallet. My only complaint is the Cresta pants only have 5 belt loops .compared to 7 on my older Bean cargo pants. The cost to improve this feature should be minimal. LL Bean should upgrade their current pants to at least 6 and preferably 7 belt loops to earn 5 stars.

Great fit, material and quality. I am 5' 11" and weigh 185 lbs. I purchased a size 35 waist and 30" inseam. The only issue I have is that the side pockets are a little shallow and my phone tends to fall out when sitting. There is a zippered pocket that can to used to address this. Overall, I am very pleased and would highly recommend.

I like these pants... they are very comfortable and I think they will work well while exploring Ecuador and the Galapagos next week. Waist is too big... I have a 30" waist and I have to cinch these with a belt

These are extremely light, comfortable and are holding up well (the two pair I bought last year; I just bought two more).

Good quality but the sizes run really large in the waist and the legs while called standard are pretty wide. A little taper in the legs would be preferred for hiking.

This pant compares very favorably to a pair of OR Farosi pants I have, which cost quite a bit more, so these represent a good value. Not sure about long term durability, so we'll see. Replacing a very old pair of LL Bean hiking pants (I think the Pathfinder?) which had double knees and heavier nylon fabric. I had used those for trail work and yard work, but probably won't subject these to that kind of wear & tear. On the plus side, these are light enough to take on shoulder-season backpacking trips.

Can't get a 33 inseam. 32 is too short and 34 too long. Really need a 33 inch inseam option.

My husband likes these gray pants, and has had the dark blue pair for a while. They are very comfortable, including the fabric's gentle stretchiness. The fit is just right for his waist. He loves the pockets, and we hope that the covered zipper opening for the rear pockets will keep pickpockets at bay on our upcoming trip to Europe. The trip will be in both warm and cool weather, and we think this non-wrinkling material should be good for both. The only reason I took off one star is because the leg seams cause some small puckering in both pairs of pants, which is probably due to the nylon fabric. So they don't look as "neat" as cotton or cotton blend material. But we think the pants will be great for long days of city exploring, and look nice enough for the cruise part of our trip.

They were way to baggy. I had to return them and get the Venture stretch pants. They fit much better.

These are great light weight pants that are well made and have plenty of zippered pockets. The Standard fit is comfortable in the waist and upper leg but is very full cut in the lower legs. I should have realized this since there is also a Natural fit, which I will order next time.

Great pants, Im 5'8 165, the cut around the legs on a size 32 was a little too loose for my liking

Pants felt really nice but the 34 size was too big for me and I am definitely a 34. As such i had to return them. But I was disappointed as they were comfortable and made well

Great travel pants. 4 zip pockets protect wallet, phone, passport, boarding pass. Lightweight and overnight sink wash/dry. Comfy on long plane/ train ride. But need more belt loops

Better fit than Natural Fit. I returned Natural Fit because they were too baggy in the thighs and seat.

I typically wear 34" waist in other LL Bean pants. With these pants, 34" waist is a little loose, but wearing a belt takes care of it. They are also a little bit baggy for my taste. These are lightweight pants, so don't expect to wear them during cold fall days without tights or long underwear underneath. Overall, they are nice pants that feel good and seem to be high quality.

I love these pants, although this particular pair is different from the first pair that I purchased. They have different styling than the khaki pair that I first purchased, in that the pockets are different. I prefer the khaki style better, although my gray pair are just as comfortable as the khaki pants.

I was hesitant to purchase the pants as I wasn't completely sold on them. My wife has 2 pairs and just loves them. She encouraged me to try them and if I liked them they would be great for our trip to Egypt. I now own 2 pairs and just love them. They fit me perfectly. Sure glad my wife encouraged me to try them.

The hiking pants were a gift to my son who hikes often. He loves them! THANKS LLB.
