These are wonderful pants that fit well, stretch a little bit, and have cargo pockets (loaded with dog treats). They are thin and light, but somehow manage to be fine in chilly weather. I was so glad when they finally came available in the dark blue color. I'm kind of ashamed, but I wear these pants (I have many pairs in different colors) every single day.

I have three Cresta unlined hiking pants plus two lined pants for cold weather and one pair of cresta shorts. I really like the fit and the way the pockets are designed. For me they have just the right features and fit to make this my top choice in this category of pant. The way the back pockets are sized so your wallet can slide around to the side means when sitting or driving that bulky thing in your back pocket is not under your butt but comfortably to the side. And they have just the right amount of stretch. My top recommendation in this area.

I exchanged a larger size of the same item for these. So far I'm happy with the fit and quality of the pants.

Well made. I like the zippers instead of funky flaps. The only long pants I'll wear for hiking or around town. I own 4 pairs now.

I have four pair of Cresta Hiking pants that I have owned for the last five years. I have worn them wading in and across streams while warm weather trout fishing, hiking trails in Wyoming, North Carolina and Alabama and while boating in the Gulf of Mexico. They have been great, all the zippers are in good shape, no holes in any of them and I have been caught on briars and barbed wire fences while wearing them. I even wear them to the gym to weight lift and they still look good enough to wear out to dinner. I see that the original style is no longer offered and they are now "water resistant". One major thing I liked about the original style is how quickly they would dry, you could wade across a creek and 15 minutes later your pants would be dry. I am going to give these new ones a try but I sure wish the old style was still offered.

I'm 6'6", and these pants fit perfectly and look great. Super comfortable. Thinking about a second pair in a different color for Father's Day

This is now the fourth pair of Cresta Hiking Pants I have purchased in the last 4-5 years and that should speak volumes as to what I think of them! I have 2 in the brown/khaki, one blue and one grey. They fit well, are lightweight and can be used for both hiking and casual wear. These pants are very versatile. They also resist abrasion and are the water wicks off of them in rainy weather. I highly recommend these pants!

Excellent all around pants. Great in the rain, quick drying. Comfortable fit with plenty of pockets. I also have a pair of the lined hiking pants and they are outstanding for the cold South Carolina mornings.

I ware Cresta Hiking pants almost daily. They ate either lined or unlined . Only other pants are mostly LLBean stretch jeans. Always liked the long lasting, comfortable clothing that I buy from Bean. The addition of the water- resistant finish is a plus. Fit, comfort, style can,'t be beat.

Travelers look for the same clothing features as backpackers: durable fabric, light-weight, quick-dry. Stretch is the icing on the cake, because they always seem to fit and feel comfortable. Without the usual zip-off legs, these pants may not be as versatile for backpackers, but make them more "presentable" for travelers. Zip pockets on both thighs and rear insure secure carry for documents and valuables. For those of us who like to travel smart, these are an excellent choice.

Terrific lightweight pants with plenty of pockets for storage for items (phone, walkie-talkie, wallet, etc.)

Great with flexibility, comfort factor and love the length

This is my 4th pair of Cresta Hiking Pants from LLbean. I love them, they are lightweight, stretchable, durable, very comfortable, great for almost all occasions. The side pockets are great for a wallet, so I don't have to sit on my wallet. A couple of people have commented on how nice they are and asked where I purchased them.

I bought these for my husband and he loves them. They're lightweight and very comfortable. I'll be purchasing another color for him.

Bought my husband 3 pairs for Christmas. They are all he wears these days. He doesn't stop raving about them.

My son asked for these hiking pants, specifically L.L. Bean, color and size. I was happy to order them, as I know what good quality L.L. Bean merchandise is. Michael was very pleased with them and put them on as soon as we finished opening our Christmas presents. The pants looked great on him and I'm sure he will enjoy them for a long time. So glad I was able to purchase these for him. He is a professor by trade, but loves the outdoors and does a lot of running and hiking.

I boought these for my partner and he loves them! They look good, feel good and are easy to care for...we'll definitely be purchasing additional colors.
