I've been wearing these pants for many years (hard to find out from Land's End exactly how many). The are long wearing - I've been wearing a few from day 1. They have always fit well, too, and I love the cargo type front pockets - I always carry my wallet in one, since I can't carry a wallet in rear pockets.

Well constructed and perfect fit, true to waist & inseam dimensions. Love the Dark Cinder color; perfect for hitting the trail or around town. L.L.Bean has satisfied a need seldom found in other brands; plenty of ZIPPED pockets, with two cargo and most importantly two zipped rear pockets.

These pants are excellent for travel to average or warm climates. The fabric stretches, comfortable on airplanes, and it resists stains. The zip pockets are valuable in crowded areas where pickpocketing is common. Long pants are helpful in buggy areas or where ticks are common.

These have quickly become my "everyday" pants and I like them so much I ordered a second pair in a different color. The fabric is very lightweight, quick to wash and dry and flexible such that it moves with you. These are great for hiking/cycling or just casual wear. I'm comfortable outdoors in just about any weather down to 30F, or so - any colder than that and I'd probably add a base layer or go with a heavier pant. They can be worn with or without a belt (not provided).
Many of the pockets have high-quality zippers that help secure whatever you're carrying. All of the seams are nicely sew and appear to be built to last (double-stitching in many places).
Beyond all that, I think they look pretty good. Definitely recommend for outdoor activities and are fine for indoors, also.

Husband 58 yo loves these pants. He wears them on planes/traveling. Look better than jeans and more comfortable he says. Likes extra pockets without extra bulk

I like these pants for general purpose 3-season wear. Wash/dry easily and are good for travel. Secure pockets with zippers. Weak link is the snap on the waist band, gets loose over time but you should get several years of wear from them. Negative - a little pricey.

The Cresta hiking pants are very high quality. I use them exclusively for fishing and day to day wear. Comfortable, lightweight, durable and good looking. I suggest you purchase one size smaller than your normal waist size. I am a 35 but purchase 34's as they stretch out a little after the first couple of washes. I highly recommend.

The Cresta pants are not just for hiking! The fit, comfort and style of these pants can't be beat. And they are easy care as well on the gentle cycle. 5'9", 175#, 35"x30"

I have these Cresta pants in the Natural Fit but wanted to try one in the Standard Fit and these new Standard Fit ones fit me better so I am very happy with them. I like the material, the fact that they have zippers on all the main pockets for extra security, and the comfort combined with durability.

These hiking pants fit very well in the waist. They allow movement without restriction. The pockets are roomy and zip closed to prevent items from becoming lost.

I have several Cresta Hiking Pants in different colors. Great fit, every one. Durable and enough pocket storage to keep a dedicated "mask pocket." One criticism: Shortest inseam is 29"!

Nice weight of fabric. Four zippered pockets to protect your stuff and they don't look like cargo pants.

These pants give you the ability to do anything you want to during casual outdoor functions. The pockets have zippers to secure everything. It's light yet warm and in the warm weather they are cool. Easy care, wash and ware. Most of all very durable for all outdoor functions.

Super comfortable with a good amount of stretch to them. A long time fan of pants made by a "cool" company out west, these are Bean's best yet.
