My son asked for these hiking pants, specifically L.L. Bean, color and size. I was happy to order them, as I know what good quality L.L. Bean merchandise is. Michael was very pleased with them and put them on as soon as we finished opening our Christmas presents. The pants looked great on him and I'm sure he will enjoy them for a long time. So glad I was able to purchase these for him. He is a professor by trade, but loves the outdoors and does a lot of running and hiking.

I already own several pairs of these pants and really like them- easy to care for, great fit, and lots of zippered pockets for security. This purchase added an additional color- great pants.

Loved the fit of these so much I bought two pair (different colors) on the same day. Light and incredibly comfortable, I opted to wear these as casual pants, not hiking! Legs are straight and "blousey" compared with dress pants, but I hate tight legs on pants anyway. I'm 5-8, 185 pounds, not fat not skinny. Bottoms are loose so they look better worn with a 6" or 8" high boot (any over-the-ankle shoe), not sneakers. Zipped cargo (2) and rear (2) pockets are a plus for not losing anything (zippers work very smoothly), and the cargo pockets fit my iPhone SE nicely without banging against my leg every step. Front pockets are a bit shallow, unlike most cargo pants, but if that's my only gripe I'm lucky. Highly recommended for a light casual pant! If I ever tire of them for casual dress I'll use them for hiking. Look too good for hiking.

These pants are a great fit with a great color, AND they're perfect for hiking and camping with their superb tailoring and tough material. My son loves these pants and will probably love them for many Christmases to come.

They are extremely comfortable, durable, and good looking. I love the stretch in the material which allows great flexibility. The fabrics water shedding feature helps keep you dry, while it is quick drying when wet. This is my second purchase of these pants. I also own a pair with the zip off lower legs. I have found these hiking pants to be the most comfortable pants I have ever owned.

I've been wearing these pants for many years (hard to find out from Land's End exactly how many). The are long wearing - I've been wearing a few from day 1. They have always fit well, too, and I love the cargo type front pockets - I always carry my wallet in one, since I can't carry a wallet in rear pockets.

Well constructed and perfect fit, true to waist & inseam dimensions. Love the Dark Cinder color; perfect for hitting the trail or around town. L.L.Bean has satisfied a need seldom found in other brands; plenty of ZIPPED pockets, with two cargo and most importantly two zipped rear pockets.

These pants are excellent for travel to average or warm climates. The fabric stretches, comfortable on airplanes, and it resists stains. The zip pockets are valuable in crowded areas where pickpocketing is common. Long pants are helpful in buggy areas or where ticks are common.

These have quickly become my "everyday" pants and I like them so much I ordered a second pair in a different color. The fabric is very lightweight, quick to wash and dry and flexible such that it moves with you. These are great for hiking/cycling or just casual wear. I'm comfortable outdoors in just about any weather down to 30F, or so - any colder than that and I'd probably add a base layer or go with a heavier pant. They can be worn with or without a belt (not provided). Many of the pockets have high-quality zippers that help secure whatever you're carrying. All of the seams are nicely sew and appear to be built to last (double-stitching in many places). Beyond all that, I think they look pretty good. Definitely recommend for outdoor activities and are fine for indoors, also.

I like these pants for general purpose 3-season wear. Wash/dry easily and are good for travel. Secure pockets with zippers. Weak link is the snap on the waist band, gets loose over time but you should get several years of wear from them. Negative - a little pricey.

The Cresta hiking pants are very high quality. I use them exclusively for fishing and day to day wear. Comfortable, lightweight, durable and good looking. I suggest you purchase one size smaller than your normal waist size. I am a 35 but purchase 34's as they stretch out a little after the first couple of washes. I highly recommend.
