The pants are great. I opted for a 38' waist opposed to 36" because the pockets were snug, and I had to do that weird duck thing with my hand like trying to squeeze into a can of pringle chips. The 38' sized offered better size pockets & I am actually able to put my entire hand inside. The pants overall are great. They're thin & breathable, offer plenty of room, and are comfortable.

Great fit, can be worn in many contexts. Just wish there were a women's version for my wife.

Great travel and hiking pants; very comfortable. Seem to be sized a little large in waist by about an inch, but great fit when you get it right.

The pants fit great however, I had to purchase a size 38 waist (Opposed to a 36 - I think they fit the exact same way minus the pocket sizes) because the pockets felt like a pringles can where I'm doing that weird duck thing with my hand to squeeze it in there. The pants are great though, really comfortable, and breathable for warmer temperatures and extremely great. I ended up buying 3 pairs, and my brother ended up getting 2 pair himself.

l bought the trousers primarily for golf, but I have used it for semi-formal affairs, casual dining, and generally as an all-purpose trouser. It fits very well and holds up very well with six pockets for my golf balls, wallet, tees and markers and cell phone. I've owned my first pair for over two years now, and now own four pairs.

Love these pants. Lightweight fabric, well made. I especially like having the front cargo pockets and read pockets having zippers for security.

This is my first- water resistant crest hiking pants. I notice these repels water well and like them. I already have five pairs of Cresta Hiking pants and two pairs of Cresta Hiking Shorts. All of them are my go to hiking pants and repel and dry fast when get wet. Particularly this water-resistant pants. I love them all and many zipped pockets for security. I use them not only hiking & outdoors but for traveling, casual outings. I tried other hiking pants but always come back to Cresta Hiking pants. They're the best. Thanks, LL BEAN.

These are great, light-weight pants that are extremely versatile. Perfect for a cool evening or a hike in the woods or simply for everyday wear. Several pockets for carrying items.

Very comfortable, great on hot sunny days. I use them for rowing shells, as well as general knocking around on hot days.
A drawback is they depend entirely on a belt to hold them up.

It's rare these days to buy something that's worth its money. I'm over the moon with these pants and will purchase more right now! Extremely light weight and comfortable. Love it that they have 36 length also with smaller waist sizes!

This is my first pair of zip off hiking pants. Early assessment:
1. Well made.
2. Comfortable.
3. Light weight.
4. Not a lot of extra room if one puts wallet, phone, etc in pockets.
5. A big plus is that they are available in odd waist sizes; e.g. 31 x 32.
6. Reasonably timely delivery.
7. Have not converted to shorts; jury is still out on that functionality.

Best, most comfortable, practical hiking pants I've ever owned. Legs are a little bit baggy, but that's because I buy the men's pant (and I have bird legs) because the women's version has pockets that are too small for my needs. Quick dry, wrinkle free, so light weight, breathable, and sturdy. Great for travel!
Love these pants have 3 of the zip-offs so they are useful year round and in all temperatures. (Easily can fit a base layer underneath for warmth if needed.)
Thank you LLBean!

My husband says he didn't think he'd like any pants more than your old Timberledge pants, but he does like these even better. More color choices would be nice.

I really like the fit and cut of these pants, and especially the way the pockets are made. The hip pockets are mounted a little to the outsides so that I am not sitting on my wallet. Both cargo pockets (and both hip pockets) have zippers so that things don't lose out when I sit down.
