Why no straight leg classic fit/high rise??? If people want skinny jeans they can take them in. Better yet - bring back item # 298928 that was 95% cotton and 5% spandex. They were perfect!

I returned these because I didn't like the fit--the legs were too narrow for comfort, and overall the fit was smaller than this size has been for me with previous purchases. I did like the fabric though, and if you offer a different, real straight leg cut, I may try them again. These were what I would call a slim leg cut.

I bought a size 4 petite because that's the size I usually wear with LL Bean pants. In fact, the other size 4 petites I bought at the exact same time were either perfect or too large. So I would expect these jeans to fit, maybe a little tight, maybe a little loose, but to be in the ballpark. But girl, we're going to need a bigger ballpark. These things were so small I'd have risked passing out from lack of oxygen. Even the legs were tight. These fit like they're made for a teen. The mid-rise is also not mid and the boot-cut is barely so (I ordered both straight-let and boot-cut and there's not much difference). I think I would like the jeans well enough if I could get into them without cutting off blood flow to relevant body parts, and I'd exchange them, but how would I even know what size to buy? It's not like these were just too small. It's like these were made for someone other than an adult female. I don't even know how I'd begin to size up. SO disappointing.

Liked the styling, material, and fit around hips and waist. Nice mid-rise styling. Had to return for thighs being styled too tight.

The quality of theses jeans is great. Fabric is soft and has a nice stretch. They just run way too small. I normally wear size 4 in LL Bean pants. And these size 4s barely fastened and were killer tight like a sausage skin. So I returned them and got size 6. They fit fine in the hips, but are still snug in the waist. Probably won't keep these either.

I wear between a 4 and 6, and am looking for jean with a little more room in the waist. I ordered these in a 6. The jeans fit in the thighs and butt, but oh my is that a tight waist! Good quality fabric but so uncomfortable. They have to go back.

I liked the pants but as usual they are designed for bigger hips. Had to send them back

Too tight and did not fit like the 1912 jeans I normally buy from you. Returned them!

I loved these jeans but the waist is too tight. First I tried a 4 petite which is my normal size and then I tried a 6 petite, which was both too tight around the waist but baggy through the thighs. Nice jeans. I wish they fit.

I found these Jean's to be off in sizing. I can wear size 12 in most Jean's. These in size 14 are too tight in waist, too big in hips!

I am usually a Medium at LL Bean. My pant size is an 8 or occasionally a 10. I ordered a 12 based on the reviews and size chart, and it was tight in the waist and super baggy all over. The quality seemed good but the sizing is completely screwed up. Returned.

These jeans are very disappointing. Right after they've been washed the fit is great. However, they get baggy, i.e., don't keep their shape after being worn for a little while.

I have bought three pairs of these jeans in the past 8-10 years. They have all been great, good fit, long lasting...EXCEPT the most recent pair I bought. The waist is about an inch smaller than all the previous pairs (which fit me.) The LLBean phone person said perhaps it was an odd cut, and she sent me another pair. Still too small. I wear 10Petite. Now I'll try 12P, but I don't have high hopes, because often the legs are too big in the thighs. I'll see when I get the larger size.

Of all the things to cheap out on, the zipper?!? For heaven's sake, a decent one couldn't have cost more than a few pennies extra per pair, but it make an otherwise well fitting pair of jeans useless.

These jeans smelled awful when they arrived. After three washings, the fishy odor was pretty much gone, but I almost sent them back. Now they seem fine, fit well etc. But I will think twice before ordering another pair.

I wish LLBean would go back to making denim jeans. Not everyone wants to walk around in a rubber band.

I used to buy a pair of the "favorite fit" jeans every couple of years or so. They were perfect. The fabric blend was 99% cotton and 1% elastane, which gave them the real jean feel with just enough stretch for good movement. With my last order, I was surprised to find they now use a different fabric blend, with only 69% cotton and the rest synthetic. This makes the jeans way too stretchy. Also, for those of us trying to buy fewer synthetic fibers it's bad. Please bring back the cotton!

Just received these jeans and like so many other reviews the waist is really so far off. I am a size 4 In most brands and weigh 130lbs. I ordered the 6 regular and love the fit everywhere else but the waist is at least three sizes to small. I have purchased this brand before and not had this problem. Hopefully they can rectify this issue.

I have several pair of these in my closet that I bought a couple of years ago. I recently gained a couple of pounds and the ones I've had are a little too tight, so I ordered one size up. What's odd is that they fit even tighter than the ones I've had for a couple of years that are a size smaller. They fit everywhere except the waist, which is too small. They also are too short. I'm 5'4.5" and the regulars are too short.

I was initially pleased with these jeans, but just a few weeks after the return window closed (just over one year), these jeans tore near the inseam. The fabric overall was in good condition and the jeans had not been worn excessively, but it seems like the fabric was weak. I won't be buying these again.

I ordered a size up and they were still too tight. I don't like the skinny legs either. I sent them back. The return was easy.
