These are well-made jeans and will suit me well for outdoor chores. The fit is high on my waist (unlike the description) and loose in the hip and thigh. Not a flattering fit as I had hoped. Purchased 2 pairs, and one of the zippers refuses to stay up. Pricey for this kind of flaw, but they'll do for barn chores. I am 5'6", average build.

These jeans are ok. The fit is not great-size 4 is my usual and the waist is a bit tight-I can still wear them but it's noticeable. I will wear them but they are not my favorite

I liked the fit of the waist, but the jeans shrunk a bit after washing and are now way too short. I'm going to send them back and reorder the medium tall size

Waist too low, gave me a muffin top when I tightened my belt to keep the pants up.

Good quality, liked the color," and style. Way too big. Especially in the front, very baggy.

Material is comfortable and the pants ordered were the right size but proportions are off. The length is short for regular, waist band is high fit which is very uncomfortable and hip/seat area was too large. Unfortunately I've already washed the jeans. They are nice well-made jeans and will be donated.

It would have helped if the description had made it clear that these jeans rode at the hip. My anatomy doesn't tolerate this, so I gave them to my daughter who is happy with them. Next time I will ask before buying!

Ran small had to return and order the next size up, unlike other jeans from llbean.

Had to return them because the 12 was too tight. I'm usually between a 10 or 12.

Nice material and nice color. It stretched out too much for me. Actually, it wasn't right for my body type. I have almost no waist and by the end of the day it was way too far down my hips. Probably better for a younger body I think.

Fits well in the waist but too tight in the knees. Maybe my knees are just too fat ?

The jeans are not long enough. Most listed 30" are great for me. Overall good, but I don't believe I will order pants from you again, just tops.

The jeans fit just fine but when you rub your hands on your pant legs (like I do) your hands will soon be blue. This is after several washings. Fortunately, the color washes off your hands easily.

I was so disappointed when LLBean discontinued the True Shape Tencel Straight-Leg Jeans. The BeanFlex were recommended as an alternative and, although they're not as soft as the True Shape, they fit pretty well except for the length. I am 5'5" tall and like the medium tall (MT) length. The BeanFlex MT are much shorter than the True Shape MT. I had to return the first pair I bought because they were above my ankles. My current pair is a bit longer, but nowhere near as long as the True Shape. I'm just glad I'm no taller or they'd look cropped!

Medium tall is not long enough for me. Purchased other pants and jeans from LL Bean and these are completely different in style and size.

I would prefer a slightly wider leg on these pants, or make it available in a boot cut.

I ordered a size larger since the reviews warned they ran small. The fit was ok, waist a tiny bit large, but I didn't like the truck-tire track look that ran down the front of the thighs. Was this a deliberate "fade"? If so, it was uneven and clashed with the darker look to the leg below the knees. It made the jeans look cheap. I really wanted a nice pair of comfortable fitting black jeans. Other than the strange look to the thighs, I might have kept them. Have sent back more LLBean items in the past 6 months than I have in 20 years. Quality continues to disappoint lately. :-(

Comfortable fabric, but I'm not crazy about the uneven distressing and the ugly "whiskers" at the front of the hips. My major complaint is the extreme difference in the leg taper in the exact same size and fabric. I would have bought another pair if there had been one with the same (wider) leg taper. Recommended with caution... be prepared to send misfits back.

I have a pair of blue jeans from several years ago that fit perfectly. That model is no longer made. I had to size up for these and the waist is still too snug. I can wear them, but they will never be my first choice.

I was so excited when these arrived. Good cut, well made and they fit perfectly. BUT....after only three wearings they have gotten baggy and are sliding down. I'm going to wash them in hot and throw them in the dryer and hope they shrink back down to my size.

It was a shock that these jeans were so tight I was unable to close them. My perfect fit with LLBean has always been Small or Small petite. The quality of the jeans is good and the length was perfect, but if I was to recommend them I would urge anyone to order one or two sizes larger than what you usually wear, unless you like your jeans to be skin-tight. I'm sorry to have to return them because I like the style, but I have no idea what size to order.

Why does LL Bean sell jeans with stripes across the front between the pockets? I know that these are supposed to represent wear marks, but why not let the user break them in and create her own (real) wear marks? I would like to try these jeans, but I refuse to buy jeans with these fake marks.

The weight and fabric of this jean was better than any other jean I ordered. It happened that this particular pair of jeans had a "miss" stitch that did not allow the jean to lay flat against my body properly. It would have needed to be re-sewn. When I told the company that I didn't feel that it was fair to pay for shipping if the jean was improperly made versus something that I didn't necessarily like, they immediately refunded the $6.00 charge. I sincerely appreciate LL Bean's customer service. It is impressive in this day and age. I will be back!

I have many pairs of jeans and pants in my closet that I wear every day--all size 10. So I confidently ordered size 10. They didn't fit! Much too close in the legs and that made the knees too uncomfortable to bend much, or even to sit in them. The advertised flex didn't help either! So disappointing. I returned them.
