The pants fit great but I've had to wash them 3 time to get most of a Chemical smell out of them. Would love to buy them again, but I'm very hesitant because of that smell.

Had to return even though I ordered and received my usual size. The pair I ordered in my "Favorite Fit" mid-rise were too small. I have another pair that I ordered previously that fit perfectly and are my favorite jeans. The fabric content has changed and the sizing is very different. I have always counted on LL Bean clothes to be consistent in sizing which was not the case with this order. For a mail order business with repeat customers consistent sizing is important. This is the first time I have been disappointed with an LL Bean order. It has made me gun shy now! I did return and exchange for the next size but having to drive 35 miles one way will make me think twice in the future.

I'm glad I read the reviews and bought a size up. These run very small. I like the quality, am disappointed in the fit. I ordered a petite, and the rise is higher than I wanted even though they say it's mid-rise.

They're significantly small for their marked size.

I found these fit a size smaller in the rinsed color than the lighter color I wore this summer! I returned them and will reorder a size larger in the dark blue.

Loved my previous pair, so I ordered them again. Unfortunately, they're now made in a different country and they run smaller, especially in the waist, than they did previously.

. I just purchased three new pairs of jeans, from another company, size 18 and they fit perfect. I purchased a pair of these jeans and the zipper and button was at least 6 inches apart. They definately run small.

I loved the softness of material. I am hard to fit size. The length was perfect but the waist was too tight so I had to send back.

I ordered these because they are the only petite straight-leg mid-rise jeans I could find. I've worn this style jeans for year and they are my favorites. I am 5'2" and have a short torso so the high waisted style does not work for me. The fabric on these jeans is shiny and unpleasant to the touch. The normal variation in the color of stone washed denim looks painted on in stripes. I haven't worn these yet because I don't really like them so will probably return if it is still possible.

Your jeans run much smaller than other brands. The quality and workmanship is excellent. It's the second order I've had to return because of size.

I bought a pair of BeanFlex jeans last spring and love them. I ordered another pair in a different color and they are way too small!!

So I bought the same size for this year. Alas, they are too small around the waist and hips! I'm still wearing the ones from last year and they fit great. Why the change in size? I'm so disappointed!

Normally these jeans are perfect, but not this time.
Fit is loser, seam is crooked on right leg.
I'll keep them and use for gardening.
Had great success in the past, so I'll try them again sometime.

Everything fits perfectly on these jeans _except_ for the waist, which is just slightly small and binding. I appreciate the actual full-size front pockets and the quality of the fabric and color. But the tight waist is almost a dealbreaker. I hope LL Bean will re-evaluate this so that my fragile ego won't be obliged to order one size bigger.

Too skinny, I thought they'd be more straight legged.

Returned. Didn't like the feel. Didn't fit right. Definitely not the LL Bean Jean I love.

I always fit into a size 10 jeans from LL Bean. These pants the fit is tighter around the waist and knees. Not the same fit as their previous pants, Bean Flex Straight leg Favorite fit. The quality is still there but just not the same cut.

Love the fit of these jeans, but they smell! I am in the process of trying to get the smell out--soaking in baking soda....

These are smaller than the True Shape jeans I have bought over the years. Also, I didn't like the light and dark alternating colors at the upper leg/hip in the front on the each side of the zipper that would normally get after wearing jeans for years. It looked too pronounced to me. But some might like it that way. They were good quality.

Beautiful denim but the waist is always too tight even sized up. purchased size 8 and 10 both fit but the waist. Moved the button over and they become the perfect jean.

Fit is as expected, and jeans washed well. However, Bean Flex jeans have more polyester and less cotton in them now. My older jeans are 93% cotton, 5% poly, 2% elastane. The new version are only 69% cotton, and are 20% poly. After 2 wearings the inside of my new jeans are pilling, and there is already a patch of stretch puckers. I'm a little disappointed and considering a return.

I was looking forward to receiving these jeans but sadly they didn't fit the shape of my legs well. The weight of the fabric and length were perfect. Sadly they bagged in the thighs and in my opinion didn't look flattering so I returned them.

These jeans run small. I usually wear a 14 med tall in other brands. The 16 was too tight and the 18 was too big. However the quality is great I just have trouble with Bean sizing.

They are mid-weigh, pretty fexible, and the fit instantly made me look 20 years older. I am mid-life and not ready for my MIL to compliment my jeans. Order up a size for sure; waist fits small and waist-through-top of inseam (all 3 feet of it) is generous.
