Not sure how these are mid-rise when they sit at exactly the same place as my high-rise jeans from Bean. The zipper on these is even longer. They are a nice fit, but not what I was looking for in mid-rise. I don't like the high-rise styles right now. These will likely go back since they are not cheap and I have the same color in other Bean jeans.

I'm always a size 6. The 6 fit completely except for the waist which I couldn't even get close to closing the zipper or button. Tried on the 8. Same exact fit as the 6 but can close the zipper/button but still very tight. Not sure what is Flex about these pants. Not sure these will stretch enough in waist to be comfortable. What a shame bc if the waist was reasonablly stretchy and accurately sized, these would be a keeper for sure. Ladies, if you have any muffin top, these jeans won't work for you. If you have bigger hips or larger things these won't work. They are pretty slim fitting, even aside from the waist. Likely returning.

I didn't like the fit. Waist was too tight for me.

I tried a pair at the store marked "favorite fit". I loved them and they fit well. I went back to the display to look for a couple more pairs. I finally enlisted the help of a salesperson. Neither of us could find any so she compared the numbers and discovered that "favorite fit" is now "beanflex". So off to the fitting room I went to try them and I could barely zip them very tight! I was disappointed. Apparently more changed than the name. The fabric on the ones I got is perfect and breathable!

I like these jeans but a "short" option would be great. I know they offer petite but I don't have a petite figure. I just need a shorter inseam.

The size 16 for great except for the waist, so I ordered the next size up. Now I can zip them and the waist is fine, however they're baggy now, especially in the hips and thighs. I don't know what to do. What style works?

For over 25 years I've bought LLBean pants and jeans because the sizes were consistent. What happened? I just ordered a larger size because the waist on the smaller size is too tight. They fit well elsewhere. 1% elastane is not very stretchy. Also, these are thin pants with only 68% cotton. Good for summer, but did not work for this Chicago winter, which was mild this year. Maybe I should consider the 207 vintage jeans. LLBean, please keep your sizing predictable. It shouldn't change every year and from one style to the next.

I returned the jeans. They didn't fit and were too tight. I also did not like the feel of the material

These pants are sized incorrectly. I purchased a size 10, the same size that I purchased 2 years ago when I bought a pair of these jeans. They fit me beautifully and still do, but the size 10's were too tight; more like size 8 so I returned them for a size 12. They fit OK but really aren't the best fit. They are somewhat loose in the thigh and waist. I wear a belt to make them more comfortable. I'm disappointed that they don't fit like my other jeans.

I have always been a fan of LL Bean jeans, but not so much now. I weigh the same as 20 years ago, when Bean's Double L jeans fit great and they were all cotton with no stretch at all. But these and the True Shape jeans are sized wrong -cut too small and the material isn't thick enough.

I LOVE LL Bean and I've ordered these jeans (among others) in my usual size but had to return these and their "True Fit" brand due to the waist size is reallllly tight and the fabric feels cheap. It used to be a really soft fabric and the waist wasn't so cinched in. I'm not sure if they're using a different manufacturer. My weight/proportion has not changed. I've seen other reviews that indicate the same concerns (for Bean Flex and True Fit) and I think it's worth LL Bean looking into this a little more or they will lose some customers. Such a shame...we've been loyal for many years and will buy other products but not their jeans.

Ordered these in a size larger than my usual. So tight all over that I must send back. Wrong style for me.

I usually wear size 10 pants from other manufacturers, but I tried the size 12 on in the store and they were snug, but I thought it would be ok. It's not. They feel too tight in the waist. For reference, I wear a size 32 in men's style pants. I will try the size 14 next time.

Jeans felt so nice, quality with good structure. Lighter blue color was great. Not too light but a good change from a dark wash which has always been my default. I have a rectangle body, waist = hips, and the sizes don't accommodate for that. Waist was pretty tight but I could get them buttoned. Hips and thighs were gigantic and have a curved fit, but I did not order a curvy fit. Pant length is too long for 5'4". Poor design in having regular sized back pockets on a petite pant, which enlarges rear. Also zipper is long and will make a tent crouch when sitting.

I wish I could say I loved them, I don't. I'm holding on to them because they are the best I can find. I am a plus size and finding jeans is not easy. My main complaint is the fabric. It is very hot and scratchy, it also stretches a lot. They need to be so tight when you first put them on that you can barely fasten them. I wish this style was offered in 99% cotton.

Bought LL Bean because Land's End changed their fabric. I found the LL Bean size 2P jeans don't really fit or flatter. They seem to be too tight in some areas and too loose in others. Also, they're more expensive.

Big sigh. I should have listened to the reviews. I have 2 pairs from 2022. They are perfect! This new pair fits totally different. Too small through stomach and waist. So disappointing. They have completely changed so they are contoured in at the waist. Far smaller than the size stated. Recommend if you have a smaller waist, but not my body type.

They just didn't fit my body type. Really nice material though. Women need bigger pockets in front for active lifestyles. Big enough for a phone. Lots of times I don't want to carry a purse. There are very few jeans that have bigger pockets in front. You would almost own the market for active lifestyles.

I ordered these jeans because I was assured that they were "the same" jeans as your Bean Flex Skinny leg Favorite fit. Only the name has changed, I was told. I have two pairs of the Bean Flex Skinny Leg Favorite fit and I love them. That's why I wanted another pair. However, the name is not all that changed! First the manufacturing went from Indonesia to Mexico. Second, I ordered Petite length and these new ones are at least an inch to an inch and a half longer. They also "bag" at the seat. I will keep them because the do fit and the material is nice, but please don't be telling others that "they are the same, only with a different name". It is my opinion you should have stayed with the Indonesian manufacturer. However, I'm sure they were made cheaper in Mexico, but your price did not change : $79.95. If I'm going to pay this much for jeans, they can at least fit well.

These jeans run very small. I normally take an 8; with these I'm a 10 and they are a bit tight. I weigh the same. Size 12 was too big. I like them to be a bit roomier, but these were the only ones with a mid-rise.

Nice jeans, but mid-rise is not the same as favourite fit. The lower cut has always been more comfortable for me, and I miss it.

I ordered an 8 petite, the size I normally use from LL Bean for the Bean flex jeans. They arrived skin tight and had to be returned. I ordered a 10, petite - those fit similar maybe a little smaller than the 8's usually did in my past experience. I find the stretchy fabric too thin but they look OK for going out, etc. I really prefer the straight leg modern fit but no longer available. Not suitable for working around the home, outdoors, etc-not substantial fabric. I am 5 ft 4 in and 130 lbs. The pockets are pretty small but not tiny. Could not fit a smaller iphone.

I first purchased these jeans in an 18 petite and had to return them because although the legs fit great, the waist was too small. I then purchased these in an 18w and now the waist is big and the legs are too roomy. I can fit two legs on one side. I love llbean jeans but I wish these fit just a little bit better.

I loved the L.L. Bean jeans! But I recently lost 25 lbs and my jeans are falling off me. I went to the local store and tried on the jeans and they were so tight I actually had to buy the same size I had. But 25 lbs heavier. So their sizes are definitely different. This was different cuts, types, etc. I asked a sales associate and they said they redesigned them! So it's not you. The sizes are different, and not as comfortable. I'd say plan to go up at least one size if not two.
